Patent number: 10618712Abstract: Disclosed is a package obtained by folding a sheet of conveniently cut and creased corrugated cardboard onto itself. The package includes multiple walls and wall linings which are at least partially opposed to one another. Certain wall linings are glued to the walls against which they are opposed in order to prevent the package from opening due to the cardboard sheet with which it is made being unfolded. An electrically conductive track is printed on the cardboard sheet at the inner face of the latter so that an opening of the package causes damage to the track. The package further includes an electronic device coupled to the conductive track and adapted to detect damage thereto, i.e. an alteration of one or more electric features of the track. Each of the wall linings glued to one or more walls of the package includes an easy tear-off-line intersecting the conductive track.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2019Date of Patent: April 14, 2020Assignee: ASSOGRAPH ITALIA S.R.L.Inventor: Franco Goretti

Patent number: 6637623Abstract: A corrugated shipping container for liquids is described. An outer container is a conventional corrugated box. This preferably has an inner corrugated liner forming corner posts. A liquid impermeable plastic bag having a spout and cap is contained within the outer box. The upper closure flaps of the container may have an opening or tear out portion for access to the spout. The neck of the spout is retained in a fixed position at a desired location at the top of the container by a saddle shaped insert having wing-like side members. The retainer ensures that the spout will be immediately accessible when desired, even though the container may have had severe handling stresses causing considerable bag movement.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2002Date of Patent: October 28, 2003Assignee: Weyerhaeuser CompanyInventors: Herbert D. Patent number: 6227440Abstract: A pre-lined carton of the present invention includes a carton formed from a blank having a liner adhered to the inner surfaces of the carton. The carton includes a pour spout which is movable between a closed position and an open position. The carton has a panel which covers the pour spout and is removed to expose the pour spout. The opening created by the removable panel is sized to allow the spout to be moved from its closed position to its open position. The spout is part of a mounting assembly which includes a mounting panel to which the spout is hingedly connected. The mounting panel is glued to the inner surface of the container so that the spout will be between the mounting panel and the container wall. The spout assembly mounting panel includes an opening which communicates with the spout, and which is aligned with the removable panel of the container.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 1999Date of Patent: May 8, 2001Assignee: Smurfrit-Stone Container CorporationInventor: Joseph J.
