From the blank the exterior of the package is formed having a front panel and a rear panel, and the interior having two compartments. The front panel has cut outs for dispensing the pourable product, and the rear panel connects to package enclosure tabs. Each compartment has a detachably connected slide, and the slides are glued to the package enclosure tabs to seal the package. To open the package, the slides are detached and moved to expose the cut outs through which the pourable product is dispensed. Conveniently, if all the product is not immediately consumed, the slides may be closed to retain freshness.

Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking shipment of products are disclosed herein. One or more cameras may be used capture video of an area where the products are loaded into and/or unloaded from shipping containers. Wireless beacons may be attached to the shipping containers. A network gateway may receive the wireless signals from the wireless beacon and the video from at least one camera. The wireless beacon may change a transmittal rate of the wireless signal from a first transmittal rate to a second transmittal rate in response to the cover on the shipping container being opened or closed. The network gateway may provide, to a remote server, a selected amount of the received video from its memory along with a unique identifier for the wireless beacon in response to the network gateway receiving the wireless signal at the second transmittal rate.

Abstract: A container for transporting an item is provided having an outer case member and a pair of partition members. The container is erectable from a collapsed configuration, in which the container is substantially flat, to an erected configuration in which the partition members form a support structure within an interior cavity of the outer case member to support a portion of the item to be transported. Methods of packaging and transporting an item in a container are also provided.

Abstract: A shipping and display container comprises an elongate display tower having an upper end, a lower end, a plurality of vertically spaced shelves, and a stabilizing base attached on the lower end to stabilize the tower in an upright position. The base has a first position folded against the tower so that the base has a small footprint for shipping, and a second position unfolded to a larger footprint to define a support for stabilizing the tower in an upright position. The base is in two separate base parts attached to respective opposite sides of the lower end of the tower. Triangularly shaped fins extend outwardly from opposite side edges of each base part so that a fin extends diagonally outwardly from opposite corners of the tower. The fins are foldable to the first position and unfolded to the second position.

The packaging apparatus includes a clam-shell style box including a main section and a cover section. The main section and the cover section are connected by a rear hinge panel. The main section includes a bottom panel, a left panel, a right panel and a front panel interconnected by fold lines. The cover section includes a top panel, a left panel, a right panel and a front panel interconnected by fold lines. The rear hinge panel is connected to the bottom panel at a lower fold line and is connected to the top panel at an upper fold line. Flaps of the front panel are adhesively bonded to the left and right panels. Angled perforations allow portions of the front panel to be folded down with the left and right panels when the box is moved to the collapsed configuration.

Abstract: A package for at least one bottle comprises a carton, a honeycomb core within the carton for surrounding the bottle, as well as bottom and top honeycomb pads abutting the honeycomb core. The honeycomb core is severed from its outer skin through the honeycomb material to its inner skin so that it may be folded to form an enclosure about the bottle. The bottle has the same height as the honeycomb core and when covered at its ends by the honeycomb pads positioned beneath and on top of the honeycomb core provides an assembly which completely fills the carton. In one embodiment of the invention, four bottles are contained within a square carton and are held in place by two G-shaped honeycomb core portions which cooperate to form four compartments for holding the bottles. In another embodiment, six bottles are packaged in a rectangular carton with the honeycomb core substantially formed by a continuous honeycomb panel severed to allow folding into six compartments.

The lateral front panel includes an opening. As assembled, the lateral rear panel and the upright rear panels are coplanar and adjacent the E divider rear panels. The E divider front panels are coplanar with the lateral front panel, and the upright front panels surround portions of both. The at least one protrusion in the divider panel extends through the lateral front panel opening.
