The blank may include various fold lines and corner features such as gussets or glue tabs that facilitate formation of the blank into the clamshell carton that includes a tray and a lid. The tray may have a bottom panel for supporting a food product. The lid may include a window that allows inspection of the food product held in the carton. The carton may include flanges that project outwardly from the tray and lid. When the carton is closed the flanges may define overlapping pairs that may be sealed together to enclose and seal the food product within the carton.

Abstract: A carton for a plurality of products comprising a front panel and a rear panel, the front panel and the rear panel connected one to the other by a top panel and a bottom panel, each of the front panel, the top panel and the bottom panel having appended side flaps. Each of the appended side flaps of the top panel and the bottom panel having a recess, the recesses of the top panel flaps being in alignment with the recesses of the bottom panel flaps to form a combined recess. A product separator is located in the carton, the product separator having a separator panel with an appended first panel and a second panel, each of the first panel and the second panel being fitted into a combined recess to thereby secure the product separator in the carton. The front panel is at least partially transparent. Each of the front panel flaps having an appended glue flap, the appended glue flaps having a plurality of glue tabs.

Abstract: A box has an opening in at least one wall, behind which a lens insert is affixed, with graphics on the lens insert viewable through the opening. The lens produces a three-dimensional image of the graphics, and its placement behind the opening gives the impression that the contents of the box are being viewed through the opening. In a preferred embodiment, the opening and lens insert wrap around at least one corner of the box, enhancing the effect of the three-dimensional image.

Abstract: A packaging box, for a golf ball, is formed by folding a packaging sheet comprising a decomposable laminate material consisting of a polylactic acid-containing polymer film and a sheet of paper laminated with the polylactic acid-containing polymer film. A portion corresponding to a window is cut out from the paper, and the window is covered with the polylactic acid-containing polymer film laminated on the paper. The window is formed straddlingly on two or three planes such that the polylactic acid-containing polymer film covering the window is bent perpendicularly at a boundary between the planes adjacent to each other. A raised portion is formed on the packaging sheet.
