Abstract: A packaging for bulk goods which comprises an inwardly laminated folded box body (1) and a lid (3), also of a laminated cardboard material, which is sealed or glued into position. In order to ensure the tightness of the packaging also in the corner regions, the coating also extends into said corner regions (7) of the lid (3). A pull-up window (4) is provided in the lid (3), while the package is filled from the lower side (2).
Abstract: The provision of an easily laterally opened type paper container includes: a paper base material which is made of material having thermoplastic resin layers on both sides thereof; an opening piece which is formed of a resin film, and sandwiched and bonded between an upper piece and a lower piece of an overlap width portion of the paper base material which is overlapped and laminated on each other with a picking length; a notch portion defined in the upper piece of said overlap width portion in correspondence with both ends of said opening piece laterally; and an oriented polyolefine film having such a characteristic that an orientation magnification of the film in one direction is larger than that in a direction orthogonal to the one direction, which is stacked on an inner surface of the paper container material in such a manner that the one direction having the larger orientation magnification coincides with an opening direction of the paper container.
Abstract: An easy-open container has a spirally-wound paperboard bodywall layer, interior barrier liner layer and outer label layer forming an easy-open seam extending spirally between the ends of the container. A feature is provided for directionally-orienting tearing of the label layer to remove either the entire label layer or just that portion of the label layer which is in bridging relationship to the easy-open spiral seam to allow opening of the container along the spiral seam.

Abstract: This invention relates to a tamper evident inner seal for use on bottles, jars and other types of containers. More specifically, this invention provides a means for rendering a heat or adhesive sealed liner tamper evident by enabling the liner to tear upon removal or opening, while providing a peelable seal that does not leave seal residuals attached to the container.
Abstract: The invention relates to lids of easy-opening cans for perishable foodstuffs, and a method of obtaining them. These lids are composed of a metal foil and a plastics film, the metal foil having a mechanical non-traversing pre-incision corresponding to a tearing line and the thermo-shrinkable plastics film having a continuous depression situated opposite the mechanical pre-incision. The pre-incision and the depression, obtained by the action of heat, makes it possible to avoid the defects known as "feathering" and the plastics film is less expensive and more resistant to corrosion than is conventional lacquer.
Abstract: A package for releasably retaining a plurality of containers together as a unit comprises a plurality of sides composed of a material having a pre-determined molecular structure. At least one side has uniquely arranged, variably rupturable slits for selectively releasing containers. The slits are aligned substantially parallel with the molecular structure of the material.
