Abstract: Container with fold-out opening, resulting from the suitable bending and folding of a laminar body that has bending lines that define four rectangular walls, which have a common upper flap and another, common lower flap with bending lines; the upper flap has two folding lines that continue two transverse bending lines defining a wall that is in a central position; said folding lines defining three rectangular portions of the upper flap; the central portion having the same axis of symmetry as the central wall; each of the portions is provided with additions opposite the contact thereof with the walls; the addition having a tear line that divides the addition into two dividing parts; the portion having a slot and the addition having a tab in the dividing part thereof and which can be engaged and inserted into the slot.

Abstract: A carton for containing a product. The carton comprises a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels comprises a first end panel, a first side panel, a second end panel, and a second side panel. At least one end flap is respectively foldably connected to a respective panel of the plurality of panels. The at least one end flap at least partially forms a closed end of the carton. An opener is positionable between a closed position substantially preventing removal of the product from the interior of the carton through a dispenser opening in one of the first end panel and the second end panel, and an open position allowing removal of the product from the interior of the carton through the dispenser opening.

Abstract: A rigid packet for loose pastilles, sweets or similar items is composed of an outer casing (2), and an inner casing (3) with a small opening (4), accommodated slidably in the outer casing (2). The packet can assume a closed configuration in which the opening (4) is concealed completely by the outer casing (2), or an open configuration in which the opening (4) is at least partly exposed and is furnished with a mechanism (14) designed to lock the inner casing (3) in the closed position; the locking mechanism (14) can be operated from externally of the packet to release the inner casing (3) and allow it to slide toward the open position.

Abstract: A pitcher includes a container body defining a liquid storage cavity therein and having an open end and a cover removably coupled to the container body. The cover extends along the open end, and the cover defining a fill opening configured to receive a liquid therein. The fill opening is in communication with the liquid storage cavity. The pitcher also includes a lid assembly having a lid closing access to the fill opening. A slide mechanism is coupled to the lid, and the slide mechanism is slidably coupled to the cover.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a packaging sleeve (12) and a packaging sleeve blank (10). The blank (10) includes a slide card (110). The slide card (110) is configured to carry a blister card (300) and/or to be inserted into the sleeve (12). In some embodiments the sleeve (12) includes locking features for locking the slide card (110) into the sleeve (12). In some embodiments, the locking features can be selectively deactivated by an end-user. In some embodiments, the sleeve (12) includes a pocket (100). Printed information can be inserted into the pocket (100), or the surfaces of the pocket (100) can be used to provide additional surfaces for printing information, including advertising.

Abstract: An upper end of a carton includes first and second panels that are in an overlapping relationship with respect to one another. The first panel includes an opening for being in communication with the carton's interior. A flexible, elongate closure tab extends through a slot so that the closure tab is interposed between the first and second panels. The closure tab can be slid between the first and second panels, between open and closed configurations. In the closed configuration, the closure tab at least substantially obstructs the opening. In the open configuration, the opening is not substantially obstructed by the closure tab. A projection is engaged by the closure tab for discouraging the closure tab from being completely pulled out of the slot during the open configuration.

Abstract: A shaped box, made of cardboard or similar material, suitable for packaging products such as medicines, wherein the precut cardboard forming the box comprises an additional precut layer (35) to define a cursor (35A) attached on the inside of one wall (27) of the box, from which one (17) of the folding flaps (17, 15) for closing said box extends; said cursor (35A) has a tab (L) that remains folded back so as to follow both said closing flap (17) and an extension (P) of said additional layer (35), thus being glued to the inside of said folding flap (17).

Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing container having compliance features in which the container has a bottom panel that defines at least one opening, a top panel that is secured to the bottom panel, and a moveable security member positioned between the bottom and top panels. The top panel provides a perforated access tab that is releasably secured to the bottom panel to form a stop that prevents movement of the security member. The top panel may further provide a perforated cut-out that provides an opening in the top panel to permit the dispensing of articles within the container. The invention further relates to a method of manufacturing a packaging blank capable of forming a container having indicia and compliance features.

Abstract: Embodiments of a product dispensing apparatus, gate and methods for assembling and using are disclosed. A particularly, useful feature of the embodiments is a movable gate having tabs with perforation which may be formed as part of a unitary body configured for assembly into a product dispensing apparatus. According to an additional feature, the gate may be configured to separate from the tabs upon first use and then be used to open and close or at least partially close a portal for accessing products within the product dispensing apparatus. According to other features, the gate may also be configured to slide up and down, from side-to-side or move within a channel formed in part by the tabs at the perforations and by other gate-enclosing panels.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a container, which comprises an inner part (3) for accommodating objects, in particular screws or the like, and an outer part (2) which surrounds the inner part (3) in the closed state of the accommodating container. In this case, the inner part (3) can be entirely accommodated by the outer part (2) and is connected via a closure tab (4), which is formed on the inner part (3), to the outer part (2) in such a manner that the closure tab (4) is fastened to the end of an outer side of the outer part (2), and the closure tab (4) can be severed by a tear-off strip (6), so that the inner part (3) can be released from the outer part.

Abstract: A blank for forming a tube type dispensing box having a top and a bottom, has a main box portion having two major sides and a minor side, each having a rectangular configuration. A second minor side is connected to one of the major sides by a fold line, the second minor side having a first opening at the top thereof. A slide retention member is foldably coupled to the second minor side, and has a second opening substantially aligned with the first opening when the slide retention member is folded over the second minor side. The blank further includes a slide opener secured by at least one tie to the slide retention member and by another tie to the second minor side, the slide opener including a third opening comparable in size to the first and second openings, and having an attachment portion for securing to the top of the box along an area spaced back from the second minor side.

Abstract: A dispenser adapter assembly for bags includes a bag having a line of weakness defining an opening, and a dispenser adapter mounted to the bag. The dispenser adapter is formed of a first main base portion having an opening and a second slider retention base portion having an opening, with the two base portions being folded together with the openings substantially aligned with the bag opening. In addition a slide actuator is mounted between the two portions of the base for movement between a closed position blocking the openings and an open position permitting product flow through all of the openings. Mating movable and fixed stops are also provided to limit outward movement of the slide actuator.

Abstract: A carton for packaging one or more articles, for example frozen or chilled foodstuff, comprising an inner tray slidable within an outer sleeve. At least one of the inner tray and the outer sleeve is provided with a plurality of panels for forming a void and a push tab is defined in one or more of the panels forming the void to facilitate opening of the carton.

Abstract: A paperboard container for releasably dispensing contents contained therein is convertible from a substantially sealed orientation to a substantially open, dispensing orientation and back to the substantially sealed orientation. The container comprises a tubular body member, a bottom member and a top member, with the top member being telescopically received within the body member to seal the top member to the body member. The top member has a closure member that is repositionable to the sealed orientation to substantially reseal the container member.

Abstract: A shipping and display container for shipping and displaying goods is made from a unitary blank to have a bottom, a top, and a plurality of side panels, one of which has a display opening. The container also has a cover attached to a side edge of one of the side panels for covering the display opening during shipping. The cover can be removed for displaying the contents of the container. The top of the container allows another container to be stacked thereon, even while displaying its contents.

Abstract: In carton boxes of that particular dispenser type, where the broad front side (2) of the box exhibits a dispenser opening, which is internally covered by a slide panel (18) with an opening (20), the slide panel is displaceable into a dispensing position by an outward pivoting of an associated end flap (26) of the box. The slide panel is prevented from falling into the box in that it has laterally projecting side flaps (28) which ride on the top edges of inner, upright side wall portions (8) of the box, this riding engagement being secured by the side flaps being folded down along the upper, exterior area of the side wall portions (8). Outer side wall portions (12) folded own from the front or top panel (2) are at their lower edge area welded or glued to the root zone of the inner, upright side wall portions.

Abstract: In a box which is made of cardboard or other rigid material and has a rectangular prism-like shape, one or two opposite faces have an inspection port which is closed with transparent material and is flanked by a graduated scale used to determine, according to the level reached after one or more partial removals, the weight of the short pasta or rice left in the box and any corresponding calories. The removal outlet, closed by a tear-open tab, is provided in one of the two faces that are normal to the face or faces provided with the inspection port and the graduated scale; the handle that makes it easier to grip the box protrudes on the opposite face.

Abstract: A box for conveniently storing and dispensing food has a back wall and a slide connected to the back wall. The slide has a slide opening and two side tabs extending from the slide. A front wall with an opening is connected to the back wall. The box also has an interior supporting wall having first and second side slits. The slide is disposed within the box, with each of the tabs being inserted into a corresponding one of the slits. The box has an open position in which the openings are aligned and in which the contents of the box may be poured out, and a closed position. The box may be made of sulfate cellulose cardboard.

Abstract: A pour spout for a recyclable carton is provided wherein an inner portion of the pour spout is formed from normally waste material and wherein the inner portion is removably attached to a top panel so that when the top panel is moved around its fold line the inner portion is superposed over an outer portion of the pour spout located in a sidewall panel so that when the top panel is unfolded, the inner portion breaks away to remain secured to the outer portion. In one embodiment, a pair of spaced apart side panels are integral with the inner portion to provide sidewalls for the pour spout. In another embodiment, a slide member moves with an intermediate panel in linear directions between locations to allow an opening to be used or to cover the opening.

Abstract: Packing in particular for small objects, such as sweets, screws and the like, which packing includes a packing unit (1, 23) which has been produced by folding a foil, sheet or plate (2, 22) and then bonding, welding and/or otherwise joining parts thereof, so that at least one wall (6, 32) of the packing unit obtained has two slots (7, 33), which, at least partially, are opposite each other, and a slider (8, 37) which is located in the slots and is formed by a plate of a sufficiently rigid material, so that this plate is slidable within the slots (7, 33) for covering or releasing an opening (9, 36) giving access to the interior of the packing unit (1, 23).

Abstract: An improved reclosable slide top dispensing carton is provided. The top dispensing end of the carton includes a top support panel including an aperture through which the contents can be dispensed. A movable slide panel overlies the top support panel to enable the selective opening and closing of the aperture. Opening and closing is facilitated and controlled by an integral tab extension and a slide top. Inner and outer top closure flaps are secured over the slide panel.The invention encompasses a blank for forming the carton. The blank uses a minimum of paperboard material, yet provides a properly supported dispensing end that is durable and can easily and repeatedly be opened and closed.
