Abstract: A foldable container blank includes at four side walls, a top panel foldably connected to one of the side walls, a bottom panel foldably connected to one of the side walls, and at least one internal support structure that is connected to one of the side walls. Each internal support structure includes a first portion that is in adjacent relation with the top panel when the container is in a closed condition, and a second portion that is in adjacent relation with the first portion when the container is in a closed condition. In some embodiments, the foldable container blank is integrally formed. A method of forming the foldable container blank and a method of folding a container blank are also provided.

Abstract: A packing box includes a main body, an opening formed on one surface of the main body, left and right flaps extended from the left and right edges of the opening so as to cover the opening, a rear flap extended from the rear edge of the opening so as to be folded to the upper surfaces of the left and right flaps, an insertion flap extended from the front end of the rear flap so as to be inserted into an insertion hole, locking flaps extended from both sides of the insertion flap so as to maintain a closed state of the rear flap and unfolded to be supported by the left and right flaps after insertion of the locking flaps into the insertion hole, and fracture guide cutting lines formed at folded parts of the left and right flaps.

Abstract: A carton for containing a plurality of articles. The carton comprises a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels comprises a top panel, a bottom panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel. At least two end flaps can be respectively foldably attached to respective panels of the plurality of panels. The at least two end flaps are at least partially overlapped with respect to one another and thereby at least partially form a closed end of the carton. The closed end of the carton can comprise a generally vertical portion extending from the bottom panel and an oblique portion extending from the top panel to the generally vertical portion. A dispenser can extend in at least the closed end of the carton.

Abstract: Reclosable pour systems useful on any suitable container and containers comprising the reclosable pour systems are disclosed. The system features a pour opening comprising a hinged flap and a tab that enables latchable reclosing and reopening of the pour opening, to allow the pouring of a flowable material contained within the container. A unitary blank capable of being cut and folded to produce a container comprising the reclosable pour system, as well as methods of manufacture and use of a container comprising the reclosable pour system, are also disclosed.

The end flap includes an open area and the sealing flap includes a perforation pattern. The perforation pattern includes a first perforation line including a central section extending over the open area, and a second perforation line extending from the first perforation line to one edge of the sealing flap. The first perforation line is configured to tear at a lower force than the second perforation line.

Abstract: A packaging container has a bottom part including a bottom wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and side walls, and has a lid part comprising a top wall, a front wall, a rear wall, and side walls. The rear walls are pivotably connected with a swivel joint line there between. A locking means for the bottom and lid part is provided for releasably closing the container. To improve such a container in a way that the container can be used for consuming the food as long as possible directly from the container, and to also allow easy access to the food, even if it is already partly consumed, at least—one tearing line for dividing the container is formed perpendicular to the swivel joint line in the front walls, rear walls, and bottom and front walls of the bottom part and lid part. A two-dimensional blank for forming such a packaging container is also disclosed.

Abstract: A reclosable folding box of cardboard with at least one tamper-evident closure is provided, which comprises a lid flap with an insertion tab, a cover tab, and a cutout. The tamper-evident closure of the reclosable folding box can be closed by machine without the need for gluing, and the tamper-evident closure can be opened only by destroying the tamper-evident closure. The insertion tab comprises at least one tear-off tab, to which it is connected along one side by at least one first predetermined break line. The tamper-evident closure is set up in such a way that, when the reclosable folding box is opened for the first time, the insertion tab cooperates in the cutout with the cover tab, so that, when the insertion tab moves beyond a breaking point, the at least one tear-off tab tears at least partially along the at least one first predetermined break line.

Abstract: An anti-sifting polygonal carton stores granulated and powdered products. The carton starts as a single blank with four sections: a side, a front, a side, and a rear. The sides have a side panel with two flanking miter panels and two minor flaps. Each miter panel has two opposite miter flaps. The front has a front panel with a second major flap having a tear strip and an opposite second major lower flap having a crease. Separated from the front by a side, the rear has a rear panel having a miter tab opposite the side and a first major flap and an opposite first major lower flap. The fold lines continuous with the miter flaps and the miter tab are reinforced with tape or patches. The tear strip and top of the carton have a pattern of cuts to open and to reclose the carton.

Abstract: A reclosable packaged food container, comprising an outer carton and an inner flexible liner. The outer carton has a generally semi-rigid construction, the inner liner is positioned inside the outer carton, and a supply of a food product is disposed in that liner. The outer carton includes a top wall that, in turn, includes first and second opposing top flaps. These flaps are movable between closed and open positions; and in the open position, the top flaps form a top opening, longitudinally extending only partly across the length of the top wall, to provide access to the inner liner. The inner liner includes a top edge and a top portion. That top edge is adapted to form a reclosable pour opening at the top of the top portion of the liner. In addition, the top portion of the liner is adapted to form a collapsible pouring spout extending only partly across the top edge of the liner and also extending through the top opening in the carton to dispense the food product from the liner.

Abstract: A carton having one or more closure flaps with a delaminating window formed by lines which are not substantially straight in a direction parallel to the fold line separating the flap from the panel of the carton. Preferably, the delaminating window is formed from an undulating curve. The lack of straight lines tends to minimize the risk that bending will occur and interfere with the sealing of the carton. The invention also includes a process of sealing the cartons by adhering the delaminating window to another flap.

End wall-forming flaps are hingedly connected to bottom and top ends of the main panels. The flap is maintained in closed position by another flap which includes a tear strip. Removal of the tear strip permits access to the closure flap, enabling it to be opened for pouring. A slot in the end panel receives the closure flap when the closure flap is reclosed.

Abstract: The invention is an improvement in a carton of the type having a compartment for multiple containers of beverage and means for holding a coolant such as ice in heat exchange relationship to containers, e.g., cans. In the improved carton, the holding means includes a plurality of panels in stacked relationship to one another in a repose position, i.e., when the carton is in the "as sold" configuration. In such configuration, the carton main compartment is of substantially conventional size to hold, for example, twelve or twenty-four 12 oz. cans of beverage. When the user desires to chill the cans (or keep them chilled), the panels are unfolded to a utility position to form an ice bin atop the compartment. Ice is poured into the bin and cans are cooled by direct contact with the ice. By first withdrawing plural cans from the compartment, pouring in ice and then nestling the withdrawn cans back into the bin-contained ice, many or all cans are in direct cooling contact with the ice.

Abstract: A food container for holding fast food or other similar article is disclosed. The container is constructed from a cardboard blank which is cut and scored to define a top and bottom portion joined by a common back panel which is hinged. The bottom side panels each contain a single punch out tab whereby a user can insert his thumb to underlie the food article being consumed with his other fingers gripping the top of the food item to be consumed. The container further comprises a flip down front panel scored to a level above the bottom of the food container thereby allowing access to the food item for consumption yet not allowing juices from the food item to emerge from the food container.
