Abstract: The invention relates to a cooling container e.g. a refrigerated cargo box of a truck or trailer, a railway container, an intermodal container or a shipping container comprising panels to be connected, having at least one connection between panels (10, 40) comprising a layer of overmoulding material (14), where a panel (10, 40) at least partially is covered on a first side (100) and a second side (200) by the overmoulding material (14). The invention further relates to a method of assembling a cooling container e.g. a refrigerated cargo box of a truck or trailer, a railway container, an intermodal container or a shipping container comprising panels to be connected, where at least one panel (10, 40) is provided with an overmoulding zone (11) comprising a layer of overmoulding material (14) covering at least partially a first side (100) and a second side (200) of the panel (10, 40).

Abstract: A clip-on bag hook for a hinged tote is provided. The bag hook includes a support portion, a hoop extending from a first end of the support portion and a hook extending from a second end of the support portion. A rib also extends from the second end of the support portion. A plurality of bag hooks can be clipped onto the hinge components of the tote. The bag hooks are preferably formed from an extruded plastic bar.

Abstract: The present invention concerns an apparatus for laser or plasma cutting of pieces of laminar material, comprising a cutting station, comprising a first support structure and at least a laser or plasma cutting head which is associated with the first support structure and which is movable in relation thereto within an operating area; and a positioning element for positioning at least a portion of the laminar material in the operating area on a cutting plane. The positioning element may consist of a conveyor belt of the spike bed type. The apparatus may further comprise a first closing device suitable to close a first opening into the operating area and a second closing device suitable to close a second opening of the operating area. The positioning element may be associated with a second support structure independent of the first support structure. The first and second closing devices may also be associated with a support structure that is independent of the first support structure.

Abstract: A paper cup and a method of forming the same. The paper cup may include a sidewall and a floor portion that collectively define a cavity. In one aspect, the paper cup may include a rim that is coated with a rigid shell that encapsulates the rim. In another aspect, a void defined by a rim of the paper cup may be filled with a rigid filler material, and the rigid filler material may be one that expands upon application of heat thereto. In yet another aspect, the paper cup may include a separate rim component that is attached to the sidewall. The separate rim component may be formed from molded pulp fibers, and it may include a flange portion that is attached to the sidewall and a rim portion that protrudes from the sidewall.

Abstract: A sock or bag-type liquid filtering device for use in filtering liquids such as water to remove debris includes a sock or bag of disposable filter material having a rim releasably secured to a two part filter holder. In one embodiment, the holder is designed to engage in an opening of a fish tank filter plate with the filter bag extending through the opening. A first holder part or flanged ring engages inside the rim of the bag and a second holder part or retainer ring engages over the flanged ring and bag rim. In one example the retainer ring is designed for snap engagement over the flanged ring with gripping formations on at least one of the parts, and the bag rim is gripped between the rings.

Abstract: A closure is provided for a container having a body defining an opening and a chime around the opening extending radially outward from the container body. The closure includes a top panel having a periphery and a continuous circumferential skirt extending from the periphery and configured to define a gap between the skirt and the chime. The closure further includes a pair of latch elements defined in diametrically opposite portions of the skirt, each latch element including a lug projecting radially inward from the skirt to engage the under surface of the chime. The skirt is continuous across the pair of latch elements and is flexible so that pulling one of the portions of the skirt away from the container disengages the lug from the under surface of the chime and generate a hoop tension that reduces the gap at portions of the skirt adjacent the other latch element.

Abstract: A hot beverage lid construction is used in combination with a hot beverage container for enhancing the safety of the outfitted beverage container and for selectively cooling the beverage prior to consumption and preventing spillage. The lid construction includes an inner container wall-engaging, lid-to-wall locking structure. The lid construction is outfitted upon a beverage container such that the inner container wall-engaging, lid-to-wall locking structure engages and effectively locks the lid construction to inner container wall surfacing of the beverage container. The lid construction, being outfitted upon the beverage container, defines a lower beverage-receiving compartment and at least one upper beverage flow channel. Each beverage flow channel effectively functions to receive heat from channel-received beverage before the channel-received beverage exits the primary beverage outlet.

The end cap is received in the open end of the container body such that the container body surrounds the sidewall, the projection extends into the mounting opening, and the mounting opening is aligned with the slot in the sidewall. The protruding portion extends through the mounting opening and the aligned slot, and end portion of the protruding portion is received within the receiving portion.

Abstract: A demountable packing box of the present invention comprises a main body, an upper cover located at the upper portion of the main body, a lower cover located at the lower portion of the main body, and a plurality of connecting bands respectively connected to the upper cover and the lower cover. The main body is a flat plate with two connecting portions at opposite sides thereof after disassembled. A pair of fixing parts matable with each other is respectively disposed at the two connecting portions of the main body. The upper cover is a flat plate with a predetermined shape. A plurality of upper tabs respectively extends outwards from the periphery of the upper over. The lower cover is a flat plate with a shape corresponding to the upper cover. A plurality of lower tabs extends outwards from the periphery of the lower cover. The upper portion of the main body is provided with a plurality of upper positioning parts corresponding to the upper tabs of the upper cover.

Abstract: An anti-rolling device for cylindrical containers, such as mailing tubes, has a stabilizing member with an internal aperture for inserting over a portion of the container. The outer periphery of the device is irregular, e.g., having flats, such that resting on a flat lowers the container to a stable position, and requires energy to rotate beyond the flat and consequently lift the container. The device may be slipped over a plug type cap or placed directly over the body of the container. In alternative embodiments, the device is provided in the form of a gasket, is made from a foam material, is split and resiliently grabs the container or has an elastic band holding it tightly to the container. The various embodiments may be used to retrofit an existing container. The stabilizer may be provided with one or more radial tabs, which may have burrs to grip the receptacle and/or feature a constraining ring to lock the cap into the receptacle.

Abstract: An adjustable strap handle that can be used in connection with a packaging frame. The strap handle provides not only that the effective length of the strap is adjustable, but also provides that no tool needs to be used to install the strap. Additionally, a dual head self-pierce rivet is described that can be used in connection with a packaging frame, specifically to secure cardboard edge pieces to thin sheet metal or cardboard corner pieces and provide structure with which strap handles can engage. The dual head self-pierce rivet has a shank and a poke at its end. The poke is configured to pierce through the cardboard edge pieces of a cube frame, advance into the edge pieces, and flare into a profiled anvil. While a lower head of the rivet seats against the cardboard, an upper head contains and holds a strap handle in a ring groove.

The wall panels have lower extension portions (11, 12) that are folded upwardly to provide a double thickness and these lower extension portions have an upper edge (12a) or apertures (37) that engage with short protrusions (33) formed on an inner wall (32) of the channel to retain the panels. The end wall panels have upper first and second extensions portions (14a, 16) that are respectively folded inwardly and upwardly to provide a support edge (16a) to support hangers for hang files. The support edge can be strengthened with a channel section (19). The box can have a lid (50) has a ridge (53) to compliment channel (36) on the base portion to allow stacking.

Abstract: A large capacity welding wire container for storing welding wire, in which an outer shell, an inner shell, a base plate and upper and lower fixtures are mostly made of paper as well as application of steel is minimized so that the container is readily discarded after exhaustion and coupled/disassembled, and a welding wire package using the same. The welding wire container comprises: an upper protrusion enlarged in diameter beyond the outer shell for structurally reinforcing an upper outer portion of the outer shell; a lid sized for covering the outer shell; and an upper fixture for fixing and wrapping the lid at an upper end of the outer shell to obtain structural reinforcement, wherein the upper fixture includes a flange extending inward along an outer edge of the lid, a supporting face folded from the flange and extending along an outer periphery of the upper protrusion and a folded groove arranged under the supporting face and having a diameter smaller than that of the upper protrusion.
