  • Patent number: 10526108
Abstract: The present invention relates to a box fastener anchor that is removably connectable or permanently attached to a fastener and that has a tooth that can pierce a box. The anchor can have a base with two lips in one embodiment. The base has a hole between the lips with a securing ring with distally located rims that combine to form a ring. The rims and lips can be used to connect the anchor to a box fastener. The base further has a base flange at one end. The anchor also has an arm with a tooth at the distal end of the arm. The tooth has a piercing element at one end. The tooth can have a curved or straight body. The arm can mate with the base to lock the arm in a closed position. A release is provided for unlocking the arm from the base.

  • Patent number: 10214322
Abstract: A child resistant, zippered plastic bag assembly having a first side panel and a second side panel each having respective upper portions forming a mouth. The bag assembly includes a zippered closure coupled to the respective upper portions of the first and second side panels for interlocking the mouth between an opened condition and a closed condition. A slider having a base operably mounted to, and cooperating, with the zipper closure for movement between a first position, orienting the mouth in the closed condition, and a second position, orienting the mouth in the opened condition. The slider includes a first wing extending outwardly from the base, adjacent the upper portion of the first side panel, and a second wing also extending outwardly from the base, adjacent the upper portion of the second side panel. A lock is operable between the first wing and second wing, and configured to cooperate with the first side panel and the second side panel in a locked state to lock the slider in the first position.

  • Patent number: 9145236
Abstract: An envelope has a latching mechanism that is activated by a key to releasably secure a flap of the envelope in a closed position. The latching mechanism is located on the envelope's flap. The tip of the key fits into an aperture in the middle of the latching mechanism. Rotation of the key rotates ears on the back of the latching mechanism from a first position to a second position. In the first position, the ears align with a correspondingly-shaped opening in the front panel of the envelope, and the ears pass through the opening. Rotation to the second position rotates the ears behind the front panel such that the ears of the latching mechanism are now behind the front panel, thereby securing the opening of the envelope flap.

  • Patent number: 8701978
Abstract: A two way mailer for conveying an item from a sender to a recipient and back is disclosed. The two way mailer comprises a base panel, a sender address panel, and a recipient address panel. The base panel and the sender address panel may be made from a single contiguous piece of material or from non-contiguous pieces of material. The recipient address panel is preferentially part of the same contiguous material as the base panel and the sender address panel. The sender address panel is affixed by at least one adhesive region to the base panel to form a pocket for containing the item during mailing. The size of the pocket eliminates free space and flushes the item with an edge of the pocket which first enters automated postal processing equipment. In this configuration, a fragile item may be conveyed from the sender to the recipient and from the recipient back to the sender without damage to the item.

  • Publication number: 20120080509
Abstract: A resealable envelope is composed of a front panel and a rear panel attached to the front panel forming an interior pouch between the front panel and rear panel. A flap extends from the rear panel, the flap having an opening having an elongated width with two circular protrusions emanating from the top and bottom of the elongated width; the opening having a width greater than its height. A first adhesive has an adhesive layer on one side and a releasable surface layer an opposite side. The first adhesive is located at the top portion of the front panel such that the opening is in contact with the first adhesive when the flap is closed. A second adhesive strip is located on the outside of the flap over the opening such that the envelope is sealed when the flap is pressed against the resealable surface layer of the first adhesive.
