Plural Registers Patents (Class 235/91PR)
  • Patent number: 5808337
Abstract: A totalizer assembly is enclosed in a housing having a base and a cover which cooperate to support and position a register assembly in the housing. The base and cover also cooperate to support and position a gear train in the housing. The gear train drives the register assembly. When units are to be totaled at a relatively fast rate, one gear train is used. When units are to be totaled at a relatively slow rate, a second gear train is used. The cover and base have surfaces for positioning the gears of either one of the two gear trains.

  • Patent number: 5464970
Abstract: A vehicle trip odometer has a central shaft with both ends protruding for coupling of either end or both ends with other odometers. A total distance odometer likewise has both ends available for coupling to a trip odometer. Thus several arrangements of counter mechanisms are possible with a single design of trip and total odometers. Two trip odometers are serially driven by one end of the total odometer, or are each driven at opposite ends of the total odometer. A molded coupler connects shaft ends for joining adjacent odometers. Each shaft end has a flat for positive rotational drive of a coupler with a mating recess.

  • Patent number: 4368381
Abstract: A numeral adding toy including an arrangement for rotationally indexing in a cooperative manner two rotary wheels displaying numerals to be added and a single rotary wheel displaying the added sum answer by means of a rotationally indexing mechanism including pins or ratchets. The wheel displaying the added answer is rotated the summed number of indexes of the two wheels displaying the numerals to be added. The wheels, having been rotationally indexed, are rotationally returned by means of a releasing mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4366374
Abstract: A lap counter for free running radio controlled toy vehicles includes two edge members which together define a convergent section of track and one or more counting devices on one or both sides of the convergent section of track. Each counting device includes two or more counting stations each of which has an actuating member associated with it positioned to be contacted by a trigger member carried by a vehicle. The actuating members of each counting device are arranged at different heights and connected to a respective one or two indicator arms which indicate the number of laps driven by a vehicle.
