Rail-head Insert Patents (Class 238/219)
  • Patent number: 10273091
Abstract: A fracture detection system and method for a dumbbell pin of a scraper conveyor. The system comprises a scraper conveyor, a wireless ranging apparatus (2), a wireless communication device, a support controller and a monitoring center. The wireless ranging apparatus (2) is mounted on a ramp plate ledge of a scraper conveyor chute (1), and has a laser range finder and a reflection target plate (24) for detecting a relative displacement between any two adjacent chutes. The wireless communication device realizes communication between the wireless ranging apparatus (2) and the support controller, and transmits the displacement of the laser range finder to the support controller in a wireless transmission manner. The support controller controls an action of the scraper conveyor chute (1). A monitoring center is electrically connected to the support controller, and can perform storage processing on relative displacement data of any adjacent chutes.

  • Patent number: 9464494
Abstract: A track guiding system includes a first track segment having a first end and a second end, the first track segment including a first linear beam segment operatively coupled to a first linear plate segment. The track guiding system further includes and a second track segment having a first end and a second end, the second track segment including a second linear beam segment operatively coupled to a second linear plate segment, wherein the first end of the first track segment is adapted to be operatively coupled to the second end of the second track segment, a first end of the first linear beam segment proximate the first end of the first track segment being adapted to overlap a second end of the second linear plate segment proximate the second end of said second track segment when the second track segment is operatively coupled to the first track segment.

  • Patent number: 4303276
Abstract: A conveyor chute for chain scraper conveyors, comprises, a plurality of chute sections joined together with a clearance therebetween for free motion. Each of the sections includes a guide plank having a reinforcing plate portion adjacent a respective end thereof and a pin extending outwardly from the reinforcing section. A common connecting plate interconnects the separate sections and it has spaced apart eye openings therethrough into which a respective pin segment extends. The plates have a web between adjacent pins of adjacent sections and the eye openings and the segments are spaced to provide the clearance therebetween. Each guide plank comprises an auger thread plank for coal which is made of a box-like section construction. Each box-like section has an exterior wall covering the pin segments and an inner wall spaced from the exterior wall forming a locking pocket therewith, which receives the locking or connecting plate.

  • Patent number: 4047600
Abstract: A smooth junction is provided between aluminum conductor rails at the power collection surface by the provision of a wedge shaped insert the geometry of which corresponds to that of the gap between the rails. On expansion of the rails the insert is pushed partly out of the gap and on contraction is forced into the gap by a spring or springs thus always providing continuity on the power transfer surface.
