Patent number: 11564361Abstract: Solar radiation is collected and converted to microwave energy by means maintained in outer space on one or more platforms in space. The microwave energy is then transmitted to earth and directed to and constantly focused on one or more segments of a generally circular and slowly rotating tropical depression, which is a precursor to a tropical storm and then a hurricane (alternatively called a cyclone or typhoon). The focused microwave energy interrupts the cycle of vertical upward and downward movement of air, water, & water vapor, and destabilizes the developing rotational motion of the tropical depression, causing it to break up and dissipate, and preventing it from ultimately developing into a hurricane. When not focusing microwave energy on a tropical depression, the microwave energy can alternatively be used to create earth based solar energy, which would help alleviate costs of operating the system solely for hurricane prevention.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2019Date of Patent: January 31, 2023Inventor: S. Publication number: 20120006908Abstract: The present invention concerns itself with systems and methods for the dissipation of hurricanes and/or tropical storms through the use of wind turbine pumps. These pumps, which are driven by the storm's own winds, draw cold deeper water from below the storm and spray it high into the air. This cold spray absorbs the heat energy from the air thus removing the driving force (the heat energy) from the hurricane. The spray also acts as a brake on wind speed. Hence, by using a series of these wind turbine pumps acting in cohesion, dissipation of hurricanes and/or tropical storms may be achieved.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 9, 2010Publication date: January 12, 2012Inventor: St.Jean Orridge

The rising column of warm air is created directly in the path of a naturally occurring rotating wind storm to help alleviate an atmospheric imbalance and to cool the surface of the Earth and the surrounding air which effectively robs the oncoming naturally occurring rotating wind storm of the warm air it needs to build strength. As a result, there is less energy available to facilitate the growth and destructive ability of the natural rotating wind storm where the Earth was cooled by the man-made column of warm air.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2011Publication date: November 24, 2011Inventor: Horace Randolph Crawford

Publication number: 20110284690Abstract: An aircraft carrying oxygen, gases, and/or fluid advancement tanks is flown to heights greater than ground level and released out to the atmosphere, or gathered in tanks contained in the fuselage. The system is regulated by the atmospheric height or by an attendant such as the pilot or automation on the aircraft. The device includes a supply of oxygen, gases, and/or fluid advancements tanks, release or capture device, hoses, hose regulators and a relay switch. The idea here is to equip all aircraft with this utility system of oxygen, gases, and/or fluid advancement tank capabilities. As each aircraft flies to its intended destination, it helps the environment by feeding oxygen, gases, and/or fluid advancements into the atmosphere to promote cleaner, clearer, better-used atmospheric layers and maintained surface viabilities.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2011Publication date: November 24, 2011Inventor: Alexander M. Publication number: 20110204159Abstract: Space-based power system and method of altering weather using space-born energy. The space-based power system maintains proper positioning and alignment of system components without using connecting structures. Power system elements are launched into orbit, and the free-floating power system elements are maintained in proper relative alignment, e.g., position, orientation, and shape, using a control system. Energy from the space-based power system is applied to a weather element, such as a hurricane, and alters the weather element to weaken or dissipate the weather element. The weather element can be altered by changing a temperature of a section of a weather element, such as the eye of a hurricane, changing airflows, or changing a path of the weather element.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2010Publication date: August 25, 2011Applicant: SOLAREN CORPORATIONInventors: James E. Patent number: 7965488Abstract: An antenna is disclosed to efficiently ionize the atmosphere for the purpose of reducing the aerosol counts, and therefore the number of poluted particles in suspension in the atmosphere, by deposition to ground. The antenna includes peripheral nodes and a central node. Each of the peripheral nodes is connected to adjacent peripheral nodes through peripheral spokes. The peripheral nodes are also connected to the central node through radial spokes. Electric power is applied to the peripheral spokes and the radial spokes causing the antenna to charge the atmosphere through the emission of ions. The antenna minimizes an attenuation factor that reduces ionization efficiency and reduces the land requirements for its installation.Type: GrantFiled: November 9, 2007Date of Patent: June 21, 2011Assignee: Ionogenies Corp.Inventor: Phillip Kaufman

Publication number: 20110101124Abstract: A system for hurricane abatement which cools air above a water body surface of a water body which includes a large number of relatively small pumps dispersed over a wide area of a water body. The pumps are shaped and dimensioned for pumping water from a depth of the water body into air above the water body surface thereby cooling the air above the water body surface. The pumps are deployed in lots of approximately 1 pump per square mile (2.59 square kilometers) over a 100 miles squared (25900 square kilometers) area ahead of a projected path of a hurricane. The method includes the steps of determining requirements necessary to properly abate a hurricane, pumping water from depths of a water body into an area directly above a water body surface of the water body and along the projected path of the hurricane, thereby cooling the air along the path of the projected path of the hurricane, and diminishing power of the hurricane as it passes through the cooled air above the water body surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 20, 2010Publication date: May 5, 2011Inventor: David A.
