With Pump Or Interior Guide Vanes For Fluid Patents (Class 239/214.21)
  • Patent number: 12070555
Abstract: A humidification chamber (24, 50, 300, 400, 500, 600 or 700) for humidifying gases is provided comprising: a water tub that is configured to receive a volume of water; a gases inlet for receiving a flow of gases into an interior volume of the humidification chamber; and a gases outlet through which a humidified flow of gases may exit the interior volume of the humidification chamber. One or more fill apertures (120) are provided in fluid communication with the water tub such that the water tub can be filled with water through the one or more fill apertures. A sealing closure (850) is also provided and configured to be releaseably mounted on the humidification chamber (24, 50, 300, 400, 500, 600 or 700), the sealing closure (850) being configured to sealingly close each fill aperture (120) when the sealing closure (850) is mounted on the humidification chamber to resist gas and/or vapour escaping from the one or more fill apertures (120).

  • Patent number: 10869984
Abstract: A coupling for connecting an air supply to a respiratory support device has a latching mechanism which prevents the coupling from inadvertently axially displacing from the respiratory support device after they have been mated in a pneumatically discrete path. Non-axial forces are used to disengage the coupling from the respiratory support device. The coupling may include a trailing end adapter which permits rotation of the coupling relative to the air supply rather than to the respiratory support device.

  • Patent number: 9550009
Abstract: A system is provided for treating a space at least partially enclosed by a wall with an aerosolized compound. The system includes a discharge unit, a liquid diffusion appliance, and a conduit extending therebetween. The discharge unit is mounted to a first side of the wall and includes an aerosol outlet in fluid communication with the space to be treated. The liquid diffusion appliance is mounted to a second side of the wall and includes a control system for operating the liquid diffusion appliance to generate and discharge an aerosolized compound from an appliance outlet. The conduit couples the appliance outlet with the discharge unit and defines a passageway through the wall through which the aerosolized compound travels to be discharged into the space to be treated.

  • Patent number: 8960568
Abstract: The present invention provides a brush wheel typed nebulizer, comprising: a drive device; a spiral pump, including a body, an outer sleeve, in which the outer periphery of the body is installed with at least a helicoid member closely attached to an inner sleeve having a flow opening inside the outer sleeve; a brush wheel, configured with multiple implant holes and having brush hairs forming at least a ditch; a sleeve lid, on which a notch is configured in correspondence with the end of the brush hair, and an inner bulge acting conjunctively with the end of the brush hair and having multiple guide grooves. With such a design, it is possible to fling off the highly viscous liquid attached on the brush hair to create atomized liquid of extremely tiny microdrops.

  • Patent number: 7431244
Abstract: According to the invention, a device for the generation of eddies creates or destroys eddies in a flowing medium in a particularly simple manner, with particularly low energy requirement with the lowest possible pressure drop, whereby the device comprises one or more profiles, for the flowing medium to flow around, which are provided with an external drive for a periodic movement relative to the flowing medium with an angular frequency ?. The profiles are thus periodically displaced with an angular frequency ? by an external drive.

  • Patent number: 6601778
Abstract: A centrifugal humidifier having a rotatable body for propelling water outwardly on to an impingement surface that brake up the propelled water into droplets which are then entrained in a stream of air and discharged to the surroundings, wherein the impingement surface has a multiplicity of sawtooth ridges oriented with the more gradually inclined sides facing toward the direction from which the water is propelled by the rotatable body which promotes breaking up the water into finer droplets.
