Abstract: A rotary sprayer (10) for fluids (14), has a rotating disc (22), a drive (58) for the disc (22), and a supply device (28) for the application of fluid (14) onto the disc (22). The disc (22) has a distribution plane (30) for the fluid (14), and at least one opening (34) is provided in the distribution plane (30), via which a secondary flow (50) of the fluid (14) is separated from the main flow (48) to another plane (46). The disc (22) has a first spray edge (44) for spraying the working flow (52) of the fluid (14) and a second spray edge (54) for spraying the secondary flow (50) of the fluid (14). Since the main flow is divided into a secondary flow and a working flow, the effective amount of fluid that is used to moisten the workpiece can be reduced without having to therefore reduce the amount of fluid that is supplied e.g. via the pipe conduit. The formation of drops is thereby reliably prevented and a pipe conduit is used that has a cross-section of adequate size to prevent clogging.

Abstract: A rotary atomizing-head type coating machine, wherein a paint passage for flowing a paint to a rotary atomizing-head, a turbine air passage flowing a turbine air to the turbine of an air motor, a discharge air passage for flowing the turbine air after driving the turbine to the outside in the form of a discharge air, and a heat insulating air discharge passage of a heat insulated air passage axially extending while surrounding the discharge air passage and allowing hot heat insulated air to flow therein are formed in the bottom part of a housing body forming a housing. Thus, even if the turbine air expanded in a heat insulated state and reduced in temperature flows in the discharge air passage, the housing can be prevented from being cooled by the discharge air by flowing a heat insulated air with a temperature higher than that of the discharge air in the heat insulated air discharge passage.

Abstract: A rotary sprayer and method for spraying an inner surface of an enclosure, such as a toilet bowl, with a fluid are disclosed. The rotary sprayer includes a clip and a rotating nozzle. The clip includes a fluid inlet and an arm having a distal end section. The nozzle includes a circular deflection plate, and a pair of spaced apart walls extending away from a surface of the deflection plate. The walls define a channel on the surface of the deflection plate. A passageway is in fluid communication with the channel and an end space between the walls. The fluid inlet is positioned in the end space and a spindle of the nozzle is mounted to the distal end section of the arm. Fluid exiting the fluid inlet flows through the passageway and the channel and contacts an inner surface of at least one of the walls to rotate the nozzle and spray the inner surface wall of the enclosure with the fluid.
