  • Patent number: 10031377
Abstract: The circumferential part of an opening of an ejection part included in a nozzle head is formed in the shape of a convex curved plane. A liquid crystal droplet adhered to the portion with the shape of a convex curved plane of the ejection part smoothly flows down along the outer surface of the ejection part and is adhered to the opening end of the opening. The liquid crystal droplet adhered to the opening end of the opening is absorbed into the liquid crystal droplet to be ejected through the opening and is dispensed downward together with the liquid crystal droplet. This suppresses a large liquid crystal pool being formed on the outer surface of the ejection part. As a result, such problems that liquid crystal to be dispensed is absorbed into a liquid crystal pool while not being dispensed downward and that a large amount of liquid crystal is unnecessarily dispensed from a liquid crystal pool are both be suppressed. In other words, liquid crystal may appropriately be dispensed.

The housing is formed with an exterior substantially annular funnel surrounding the nozzle and forming a collection trough for collection of excess water, and the housing formed with one or more apertures directing excess water in the collection trough to an internal area surrounding the orifice to be aspirated through the gap into a stream of water emitted from the nozzle orifice and through the nozzle tube such that the excess water is distributed by the water-deflection plate along with water emitted from the nozzle orifice.

Abstract: The sprinkler head protector can fit over sprinkler heads of automatic sprinkler systems. A sprinkler head protector includes a shell having a top opening, and the top opening is disposed with a top side wall to which it is joined. A shoulder has a concave facing downward, and the shoulder is formed to be flat. Prongs extend downward from the shoulder, and the prongs each have a pair of laterally extending edges. The prongs have a planar shape. Root openings are disposed on the surface of the prongs. Tips are formed at each of the prongs. The prongs may have elongated root openings or round root openings to receive anchoring connection with roots of plants.

The air guide hoods hang above or just in the tops of the crops. During the migration of the apparatus the crop is as it were torn open by the wind and/or by contact with the apparatus, so that the spray liquid is distributed among the crop.

Abstract: A rolling liquid herbicide applicator with an adjustable shield is attached to a hollow pole having an adjustable width protective shield mounted to one end weighted, textured wheels for rolling over most terrains are attached to the adjustable width protective shield. On the opposite end of the hollow pole handle is a trigger. When the trigger is activated, an internal trigger stick is moved down through the hollow pole, thereby causing a ā€œCā€ shaped piece to move upward. This upward movement pushes on a hard flat disk. The movement of the hard flat disk causes pliable cap center to move. The gravity flow of liquid herbicide from a liquid herbicide container causes the liquid herbicide to move through a tube and nozzle assembly. The adjustable width protective shield over the nozzle prevents overspray and accidental contact of the liquid herbicide on healthy desired vegetation.
