Abstract: A volatile material dispenser comprises a base that houses a printed circuit board. The base includes at least one button and a plurality of visual indicators along a front portion. The volatile material dispenser further comprises a stand assembly that is coupled with the base. The stand assembly includes a platform defining a front portion and a rear portion, a stand that is disposed above and on the rear portion of the platform, a manifold that is disposed at an upper end of the stand and defines an outer side surface from which extends a plurality of radially spaced ribs, and a piezoelectric assembly disposed within the manifold. The volatile material dispenser further comprises a cover that is configured to be attachable to and detachable from the base. The cover defines a chimney that defines a longitudinal axis. The manifold includes a refill chassis.

Abstract: A sprinkler enclosure device includes a baseplate and a generally hollow cup extending upward therefrom in a perpendicular manner. The cup includes an inside diameter that is suitable for receiving a sprinkler body, and a height that is suitable for receiving at least a portion of the sprinkler body. The baseplate includes a central aperture for receiving the cup. The cup includes a central aperture having dimensions suitable for receiving an irrigation fitting for connecting the sprinkler body positioned within the cup to an irrigation water supply line. A sealing ring is removably positioned along the top end of the cup and includes a central opening having a diameter that is complementary to the outside diameter of the received sprinkler body. The sealing ring preventing dirt from entering the interior space of the cup.

Abstract: A sprinkler guard includes at least one plate centered relative to a central axis of the sprinkler guard. A plurality of legs includes first and second legs that are attached to one plate, and third and fourth legs that are attached to another plate. A circular ring is attached to lower ends of the first to fourth legs, a center of the circular ring coinciding with the central axis, and the first to fourth legs being spaced apart about the circumference of the circular ring. First and second arms are attached to the first and second legs, respectively. In addition, a cross bar can be attached to the circular ring and extend across a diameter of the circular ring.

Abstract: A tiered burner having a Venturi tube in fluid communication with and connected to a chamber, the chamber being in fluid communication with rows of burner ports; the chamber having an outer wall and an inner wall; a plurality of vanes having a tiered arrangement, wherein the lowermost vane of the plurality of vanes is the smallest vane; each vane of the plurality of vanes having an inner edge extending from the inner wall towards a center of the plurality of vanes, and extending above a row of burner ports of the plurality of rows, such that flames emitted from the row of burner ports is impinged from above and thus directed towards the center of the plurality of vanes; and the Venturi tube having: a constricted midsection; a first end creating a connection to the chamber; and a second end configured to receive gas from a gas source.

Abstract: A pre-rinse spray valve includes a spray face assembly that includes a spray face fixture that includes a face plate and a rear end flange. The face plate defines a plurality of spray holes extending axially through the face plate. Each of the plurality of spray holes is defined in part by a conically diverging surface projecting from the back side of the face plate. Overmold bores are defined through the outer periphery of the face plate. An overmold is a unitary structure that continuously covers a peripheral region of the upper surface of the face plate, a side rim of the face plate and a peripheral ledge of the face plate. The overmold includes cords, and each of the cords threads through a respective one of the overmold bores to permanently attach the overmold to the face plate.

Abstract: A dispensing closure for a squeeze-type container produces a fan-type spray in a low pressure environment. The dispensing closure includes a closure body having an upper deck and a skirt depending from the upper deck. The skirt is configured and arranged to attach to a product container, such as a squeeze-type container. A flow conduit extends from an interior of the closure body and through the upper deck to provide a flow path from an interior of the closure to an exterior of the closure. The flow conduit has an entrance orifice and an exit orifice. The flow conduit has an inner wall extending between the entrance orifice and the exit orifice. The flow conduit and the closure body are integrally formed. The flow conduit includes a tip portion with an exit orifice defining a shape to provide a fan-type spray in a low pressure environment.

Abstract: A sprinkler guard includes two or more plates centered relative to a central axis of the sprinkler guard. A plurality of legs includes first and second legs that are attached to one plate, and third and fourth legs that are attached to another plate. A circular ring is attached to lower ends of the first to fourth legs, a center of the circular ring coinciding with the central axis, and the first to fourth legs being spaced apart about the circumference of the circular ring. First and second swing arms are rotatably attached to the first and second legs, respectively, and are configured to be snap fit into indents on the third and fourth legs, respectively. In addition, a cross bar is attached to the circular ring and extends across a diameter of the circular ring.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for attaching a nozzle to a fluid dispensing system and a tip to the nozzle. In one illustrative example, the fluid dispensing system may be moved by a robotic device towards a nozzle retaining structure having nozzle retaining areas holding nozzles. A nozzle may be selected for use based on a nozzle identifier element corresponding to each of the nozzles. The robotic device may move the fluid dispensing system to the nozzle selected to attach the fluid dispensing system to the nozzle selected. Further, the fluid dispensing system may be moved by a robotic device towards a tip retaining structure having tip retaining areas holding tips. A tip may be selected for use based on a tip identifier element corresponding to each of the tips. The robotic device may move the fluid dispensing system to the tip selected to attach the nozzle to the tip selected.

Abstract: The circumferential part of an opening of an ejection part included in a nozzle head is formed in the shape of a convex curved plane. A liquid crystal droplet adhered to the portion with the shape of a convex curved plane of the ejection part smoothly flows down along the outer surface of the ejection part and is adhered to the opening end of the opening. The liquid crystal droplet adhered to the opening end of the opening is absorbed into the liquid crystal droplet to be ejected through the opening and is dispensed downward together with the liquid crystal droplet. This suppresses a large liquid crystal pool being formed on the outer surface of the ejection part. As a result, such problems that liquid crystal to be dispensed is absorbed into a liquid crystal pool while not being dispensed downward and that a large amount of liquid crystal is unnecessarily dispensed from a liquid crystal pool are both be suppressed. In other words, liquid crystal may appropriately be dispensed.

Abstract: An over spray gun assembly that prevents over spraying of atomized paint or vanish particles and droplets into the air and onto unwanted surfaces during a spraying operation, such as painting or staining a surface. More specifically, the over spray guard includes first shroud and a second shroud, wherein the second shroud is positioned within the first shroud thereby defining an open interior space for vacuuming unwanted or over sprayed airborne fluid droplets dispensed from a nozzle of the spray gun. In addition, an elongated sleeve or extension can be connected to the first shroud, thereby allowing a user to comfortably support, hold, position, and aim the over spray gun assembly.

Abstract: A insect control device includes an inverted poison spray can with a multi-functional lid for catching, containing, killing or disposing of insects. The insect control device can contain the insect, so the user does not have to grab it and perhaps drop and lose it. The insect control device includes an aperture for closing the insect within the lid and allows the user to spray insecticide onto an insect contained within the inverted lid. The lid design contains the insecticide and concentrates it use onto the insect, where desired, rather than getting the insecticide onto the users walls, floors, ceilings or the like. If the user desires, they can carry the insect control device, with the aperture closed and the insect contained in the lid, to a location to release the insect. Typically, the lid will be clear or transparent to allow the user to see inside the lid.

Abstract: A horizontal venturi burner has at least one burner ring, if not several, supplied by respective ports which supply air/fuel mixture thereto. The ports are directed at orifice holders which are received in receivers preferably formed in cast top and bottom pots. The receivers may have openings on either side which allow single direction installation of the holders and preferably prevent rotation by having adjacent and cooperating flats/faces therein, as well as openings which properly position the holders in a desired axial arrangement.

Abstract: Apparatus is provided which comprises a container arranged to contain a material dispensable as a spray, aerosol or particulate through an outlet aperture, and a spacer member, wherein the spacer member is movable between a first position which is convenient for carrying and/or storage and a second position which determines a minimum distance between the outlet aperture and the target surface area or object for the spray, aerosol or particulate. Preferably, the spacer member when in the first position can inhibit the spray, aerosol or particulate from directly impacting the target surface, area or object.

Abstract: A spray containment device comprising: a threaded adapter, a conical body having a threaded aperture wherein the threaded aperture is adapted to cooperate with said threaded adapter, and (c) at least one threaded nut adapted to thread onto the threaded adapter above the conical body so as to secure the conical body to the threaded adapter. Also included is a sprayer device comprising a liquid container and a spray wand to which the spray containment device may be attached. The threaded adapter and nut system could be utilized to attach threads to other types of pipes, rods or similarly shaped pieces.

Abstract: A plumbing outlet armature (2) with a liquid guide (3), which opens into a fitting outlet (4) in an area in which a plumbing functional unit (5) in the form of an insertion cartridge is provided. The outlet fitting is provided such that the clear open cross-section of the liquid guide (3) is adapted to the insertion cartridge (5) at least in the opening area of the fitting outlet (4), and the insertion cartridge (5) can be inserted into the fitting outlet (4) from the opening side and is removably held therein. The inventive outlet armature is characterized by the insertion cartridge being removably held in the fitting outlet (4) by a sleeve-shaped intermediate holder (6), which intermediate holder itself is removably held in the fitting outlet (4) by a screw or bayonet connection. The inventive outlet fitting (2) can be used with a jet regulator or with another plumbing functional unit (5) without any significant limitations of the structural clearance.

Abstract: A protective lawn sprinkler apparatus may include an anchor device made from a rock type material, having a top side, a bottom side, an inner rim, an outer edge and an inner edge defining an opening. A pipe sleeve made from a polymer material may be positioned inside the inner edge of the anchor device formed to fit around a sprinkler.

Abstract: In order to protect the operation of and insure the life of a sprinkler system, this device will be placed in the ground and will provide a protective cover for an individual sprinkler mechanism. The device will prevent the entry of debris into the sprinkler mechanism but also not interfere with the normal operation of the sprinkler. Additionally this will also allow the performance of routine maintenance on the sprinkler heads without the necessity of removing the entire sprinkler assembly.

Abstract: A sprinkler head protection arrangement is provided having a first plate which is connected to a pipe providing fluid to flow through the plate, a sprinkler head mounted in the first plate to receive and control the fluid flow, and a second plate removably clamped to the first plate with a rigid cage mounted thereon to surround and protect the sprinkler head. The cage is formed from rigid links and rings which resist impact deformation. The second plate is secured to the first plate with minimal fasteners. An impact force absorbing spacer can be mounted between the plates. The sprinkler head can be further separated from impact forces by connecting to the first plate through a sleeve or bushing.

Abstract: An improved misting bottle and fan apparatus capable of both convective cooling and evaporative cooling independent of either other. The operator can select to have the convective cooling effects of air being blown over the operator. The operator can select to have the evaporative cooling effects of pressurized fluid forced through a small orifice showered down at the operator. In the alternative, the operator is able to select both style of cooling using this device. The positioning and shape of the atomizing device in relation to the forced air is unique as well as the shaping of the air flow optimizes the cooling effects. Location of the atomizing device is proscribed as to prevent the occurrence of drips and runs commonly associated with misting fans.

Abstract: A method is provided for inhibiting plant growth by inducing hypothermia by applying a treating substance to summer annual weeds and grasses. Susceptible undesirable plants will be killed by this treatment, while non-susceptible desirable plants will not be adversely affected by this treatment. Compressed carbon dioxide may be applied to other summer grasses to cause the grasses to become dormant. An apparatus is provided for inducing hypothermia in undesirable plants by applying a treating substance. A canister capable of housing gas may be provided. A valve may be provided to control the amount and pressure of gas dispensed from the canister.

The cylindrical housing is inserted into the ground surrounding an in-ground sprinkler head, protecting the sprinkler head and subterranean feed lines from damage resulting from yard work or other traffic. The cylindrical housing prevents inadvertently sprinkler head collisions with lawn mowers, wheelbarrows, golf carts, or similarly wheeled vehicles. The insertion tool is a male-fitting press tool that provides vertical loads on the cylindrical housing upper extent to force it into soil surrounding a sprinkler head.

Abstract: An indexing mechanism is provided for use with a prior art airless paint spray gun. The indexing means of this invention enables the tip guard of the spray gun to be rotated in 90° increments with respect to the frame of the spray gun without loosening the retaining nut of the tip guard.

Abstract: A system and method to reduce water spray from one or more truck tires of a truck driving through rain on a water covered road. A combination centrifuge and air compressor device collects a mixture of air and rainwater, to separate the air from the rainwater and to compress the air. An air distribution manifold system directs the compressed air from the combination centrifuge and air compressor device onto an area of the water covered road in front of one or more of the truck's tires so that the water from the area rises up from the road. Then a shield barrier channels the water that rises up from the area on the road away from one or more of the truck's tires.

The system further includes a liquid tank for holding the substance to be applied to the target area, an agitation system for desired mixing of the tank contents, and fluid pathways for delivery of the contents of the tank to the spray heads for application to the target area.

Abstract: A light cleaning device for washing lights located on an external portion of a vehicle. The device has an elongate housing formed with an inlet port connectable to a source of pressurized liquid and a rinsing head fitted with at least one jet nozzle. The jet nozzle is mounted at a distal end of a telescopically retractable hollow tube of the device, which is normally retracted. There is a liquid flow path from the housing to the rinsing head which can emit a jet spray therefrom when the tube is projected from the housing. The nozzle may have a jet forming member fitted therein to turbulate the jet spray fluid.
