Converging Jets Or Bubblers (e.g., Bubble Cups) Patents (Class 239/31)
  • Patent number: 11473527
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for an aircraft propulsor with a fan cowl with one or more tangential restraints. The tangential restraints may be configured to enter respective tangential receiving portions of a fixed portion of the aircraft propulsor. The fan cowl may receive a load that may include a bending load. The tangential restraints may be configured to convert the bending load to membrane tension and thus decrease deflection of the fan cowl. The fan cowl may be a translating sleeve used for a reverse thrust.

  • Patent number: 10081030
Abstract: A water delivery device is described which includes an outlet pipe through which water is ejected to provide a water display. A disk is positioned relative to the outlet pipe. The relative positions of the disk and outlet pipe are moved so that the disk is located within the outlet pipe or above it to alter the appearance of the water leaving the outlet pipe. As the relative position of the disk and outlet pipe varies, a sequence of water expressions is provided.

  • Patent number: 8931736
Abstract: A nacelle is configured to be coupled to an underside of a wing and forms a clearance space between the nacelle and a leading edge slat of the wing. A portion of an outlet cowling moves longitudinally aft when a reverse thrust configuration is activated and the leading edge slat is deployed toward the nacelle. The outlet cowling also includes another portion located adjacent to the leading edge slat that does not move when the reverse thrust configuration is activated and thus maintains its clearance space from the leading edge slat.

  • Patent number: 7021559
Abstract: A pressure regulating device for regulating pressure in a pressurized dispensing vessel, the device comprising a cartridge for storing pressurized fluid; the cartridge being sealed by a cap assembly having an expandable chamber and a flow passage for communicating fluid from the cartridge to the interior of the dispensing vessel; a closure member in the cap assembly to open and close the flow passage and an actuation means in the cap assembly to actuate the closure member, wherein the actuation means operates in response to expansion of the expandable chamber; and a one-way valve communicating the expandable chamber with the interior of the dispensing vessel via an aperture in the cap assembly, the valve having a resilient chamber seal in the expandable chamber extending across the aperture and restrained by chamber wall so to allow fluid to enter through the aperture and past the seal to charge the chamber to a predetermined pressure difference below the pressure in the dispensing vessel, and wherein expansi

  • Patent number: 4627845
Abstract: This invention is directed to a device which in a preferred embodiment thereof includes a pair of spaced-apart eye-bathable water-outlets adjustable of both the distance spaced-apart and the positioning between vertical and horizontal of the pair, with the water-outlets being of diverging conical shape having outer circumscribing walls thereof of substantially oval shape, water-conducting conduit structure, being of polyvinyl chloride plastic to a major extent, and the water-inlet thereof being mateable on any one of faucets of diverse shapes and structures by virtue of the water-inlet end being or including a flexible multi-purpose mating structure.

  • Patent number: 4012798
Abstract: A portable molded plastic housing contains a reservoir of wash liquid such as water spaced above a basin having two opposed liquid spray nozzles. The nozzles are normally capped by an elastic cap over each, the two caps being joined by a strap by which fast and simultaneous removal of the caps is accomplished upon emergency need. The reservoir feeds solely by gravity to the nozzles upon removal of the caps. Liquid within the reservoir attains room temperature to improve user comfort and is free from contamination by pipe scale, yet is instantly available at a work station to give several minutes of eye-flushing spray.
