  • Patent number: 12072061
Abstract: An atomizer unit of a lubrication system has a chamber arrangement having a chamber arrangement interior, at least one first supply duct for supplying a first compressed-air stream into and through the chamber arrangement interior to a continuation duct, and an injection valve for injecting a coolant and/or lubricant into an injection region into the first compressed-air stream in the chamber arrangement interior. The atomizer unit has at least one second supply duct for supplying a second compressed-air stream into and through the chamber arrangement interior to the continuation duct. The atomizer unit is designed in such a manner that the second compressed-air stream combines with the first compressed-air stream and with the coolant and/or lubricant possibly injected into the first compressed-air stream, to form a transport stream for transporting the injected coolant and/or lubricant, and the transport stream is routed through the continuation duct to the machining location.

  • Patent number: 11478950
Abstract: The disclosed fiberglass cutting device with yoke-supported adjustable roller is a device, or “gun,” with on-the-fly—during operation adjustment of the spacing between the anvil roller and cutter. This adjustability is accomplished using only a single tension-adjusting knob located to one side of the anvil roller. This is superior to the prior art that required, at a minimum, two tension-adjusting knobs—one for each side of the anvil roller. To solve this problem, the fiberglass cutting device with yoke-supported adjustable roller supports the supports the anvil roller on both ends using a yoke. The position of the yoke is controlled by a single tension-adjustment knob that moves both arms of the yoke, thus maintaining the anvil roller in a position parallel to the cutting roller. The use of the yoke also avoids only supporting the anvil roller at a single end, which creates an unstable cantilevered-roller.

Abstract: A system and method for combining an additive with a carrier fluid in a spray nozzle. The carrier fluid is fed to one or more nozzles that include an embedded Venturi. The Venturi includes an induction port connected to an additive supply. As the carrier fluid flows through the nozzle, the flow creates a vacuum or suction force that draws in the additive. Of particular advantage, the concentration of the additive combined with the carrier fluid can be maintained constant even if the flow rate of the carrier fluid varies. The system and process are particularly well suited for spraying fields, such as crop fields or orchards, with an agrochemical.
