Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a dual flow fitting that permits a user to select between a first, low flow rate and a second, high flow rate, as well as variable flow rates there between. The fitting includes a plunger within a housing body. A plurality of longitudinal grooves are defined along either the inside of the housing body or the outside of the plunger. At least one of the grooves has a varying portion along which the cross-sectional area of the groove varies over a length of the groove. This varying portion can be moved relative to a seal member positioned between the housing body and the plunger, thus allowing for variation of the flow rate through the fitting. The larger the cross-sectional area of the groove(s) at the point of contact with the seal member, the greater the flow rate through the fitting.

Abstract: A spray nozzle configured to be disposed on top of and coupled to a standard spray paint canister. Compressed gas within the spray paint canister serves as the propellant which expels the liquid paint out of the canister when the nozzle is actuated. The paint and compressed gas travel through the internal passageways of the nozzle and are ejected from the nozzle in a three-dimensional conical discharge. The nozzle comprises an adjustable valve for a user to manipulate and change the emitted three-dimensional discharge from the canister. The adjustable valve alters the internal flow characteristics of the nozzle which in turn change the diameter of a circular spray pattern which is produced when the nozzle is held at a set distance away from a surface that is being sprayed. The user may adjust the fluid flow during use or between uses.

Abstract: A showerhead assembly may include a showerhead bracket for attaching a conventional handheld showerhead to the showerhead assembly. A coupling member may join the showerhead assembly to a shower pipe, and a showerhead may be joined to the showerhead bracket to deliver water or other fluid from the showerhead assembly. The showerhead bracket may be selectively rotatable and/or pivotable relative to the coupling member, the showerhead, or both to change the direction water exits the showerhead assembly relative the showerhead pipe. The showerhead assembly may operate in one or more modes, which may include at least one off mode. The showerhead assembly operation mode may be selected by rotating at least some components of the showerhead relative to the showerhead bracket. Some showerhead assemblies may include a diverter valve to selectively control the flow of fluid from the showerhead pipe to the showerhead and the handheld showerhead.

  • Patent number: 7246756
Abstract: A water sprinkler for irrigating lawn and garden areas has two axes of movement, one transverse to the other. A barrel moves or oscillates on one horizontal axis to direct water spray from nozzles carried on the barrel across the length of the area, and the nozzle outlets also simultaneously move or oscillate on axes transverse to the barrel axis to spray water across the width of the area. As the nozzle outlets move or oscillate in the two transverse directions, the ground area is irrigated uniformly over time by application of water in a criss-cross pattern. The area sprayed can be surprisingly large compared with single-axis oscillators, or the area may be limited to a single row or a narrow rectangular area, by adjustment of the barrel and outlet movement and/or the water pressure.

Abstract: A nozzle apparatus for an organic light emitting device. The nozzle apparatus includes a nozzle and a pressure regulator. The nozzle discharges organic solution onto a substrate. The pressure regulator controls a discharging quantity of the organic solution through the nozzle. The discharging quantity of the organic solution is minutely controlled through adjusting a length of the nozzle. Therefore, the nozzle apparatus can precisely achieve a small amount of low-viscosity organic solution being discharged onto a substrate to form an organic layer with reduced thickness and narrow width.
