The scent stick can have a length to average cross-sectional diameter ratio of at least about 4:1 according to some embodiments. The scent stick can be colored to blend into an environmental setting to make the presence of the scent stick unobtrusive. The scent stick may also be attached or hung by the addition of a hanger or hoop. The scent stick may be hung from a tree, automobile mirror or a person as an adornment. Other embodiments are also described.

    Abstract: An aromatic deodorant includes a first cover, a second cover and a scent device. An interior of the first cover is extended outward with a fixing element, an interior of the second cover is extended outward with a fixing seat to pivot the fixing element, the scent device is transfixed at the fixing element and is fixed by the fixing seat, and a scent dissipated by the scent device is released outside by convection through air vents on the first cover. When stopping dissipating the scent, a user only needs to rotate the first cover and the second cover through pivoting of the fixing element and the fixing seat, and uses the isolation plate on the second cover to block the air vents. Thus, the deodorant can be put in any space where a bad smell needs to be removed and not only saves space but is used very conveniently.

Embodiments include when (a) the lower section has a top layer that is a blend of high density polyethylene and low density polyethylene; the upper section has a bottom layer that has a mixture of polypropylene and a propylene/ethylene copolymer; and/or the lower section has an upper layer that has low density polyethylene but the lower section does not contain ultra low density polyethylene. These features help prevent premature leakage at the bond between the upper section and lower section.

    Abstract: A blower type chemical diffusing apparatus is small in thickness, simple in structure, and reduced in cost. The apparatus allows the chemical and a battery to be exchanged readily and facilitates electrically connecting the battery to the motor in the blower. The apparatus casing includes a first and a second side casing counterpart hinged together to allow opening and closing. The apparatus further includes a blower with a motor and fan mounted in the first casing body. A chemical cartridge is disposed between the blower and the second casing body, and contains a chemical impregnated body which includes a carrier in the form of a sheet impregnated with the chemical. The first casing body has a battery accommodating recess in which dry cells are removably accepted to drive the motor and thereby to rotate the fan. Air is thus forced to flow through the chemical cartridge.

    Abstract: An apparatus for dispersing a fragrance compound. The apparatus includes a fragrance compound impregnated porous carrier with a film wrapped there about to form an envelope hermetically sealed along at least a first seam in the film. The film is perforated with at least a first slit to define a vent opening removable portion retained to the envelope with at least a first tab of film bridging the first slit. A film vent closure is adhesively applied to the envelope about the vent opening removable portion, thereby forming a substantially complete hermetic seal of the interior of the envelope about the porous carrier. Upon removal, the film vent closure adhesively pulls the vent opening removable portion from the envelope, and the first tab of film is torn, so as to form a vent opening in the envelope, and thereby enabling the fragrance compound to disperse through the vent opening.

    Abstract: A diffuser for an air freshener product includes a casing having front and rear casing portions fastened together. A neck opening is formed inside said casing into which a neck of an air freshener reservoir is secured. A wick extends from the neck of the air freshener reservoir into the interior of the casing. An air flow control element is provided in the casing to permit a user to change the air flow to the wick and thereby vary the air freshener product dispersed into the air. The air flow control element has a knob extending from the casing that is operable by the user. The rear portion of the casing has a fastener to which is attached a clip having two extended flexible arms that engage into a vent grill of an air conditioner system of a vehicle. The clip is securable in the fastener at positions oriented 90 degrees from one another to enable the clip to be fastened to vertically or horizontally oriented air conditioner grill slats.
