Abstract: A scent dispensing device is disclosed. The scent dispensing device has a housing that has a cavity which forms an interior of the housing and separates the interior from an external environment. The cavity may be sized and dimensioned to receive at least one scent cartridge. The housing may have a number of apertures that each provide a respective flow path between the interior of the housing and the external environment. A number of selectively permeable membranes may be positioned in the flow paths. The selectively permeable membranes may selectively block moisture from reaching the interior of the housing from the external environment and may permit passage of gas between the interior of the housing and the external environment including passage of at least one scent from the interior of the housing to the external environment.

The scent capsule comprises a reservoir containing a fragrant material, and with an opening to a cavity therein and covered by a permeable membrane through which a fragrance can permeate, and a releasable seal sealed over the opening and the permeable membrane to resist fragrance release until removed. An absorptive pad is disposed behind the releasable seal between the scent capsule and the housing, and is capable of absorbing the fragrant material that permeates through the permeable membrane.

A sub-head has at least a portion releasably coupled across the open end of the container and closing the container with the front of the sub-head exposed. A supra-head has a back coupled to the front of the sub-head and a front with a face. The supra-head has a lateral dimension larger than a lateral dimension of the sub-head and covers the sub-head.

When the cartridge is rotated by the predetermined angle, air is supplied through the through-hole facing the inlet pipe such that one air freshener is discharged through the through-hole facing the outlet pipe, and the ball plungers are configured to block the rest of the through-holes.

Abstract: Microporous materials that include thermoplastic organic polyolefin polymer (e.g., ultrahigh molecular weight polyolefin, such as polyethylene), particulate filler (e.g., precipitated silica), and a network of interconnecting pores, are described. The microporous materials of the present invention possess controlled volatile material transfer properties. The microporous materials can have a density of at least 0.8 g/cm3; and a volatile material transfer rate, from the volatile material contact surface to the vapor release surface of the microporous material, of from 0.04 to 0.6 mg/(hour*cm2). In addition, when volatile material is transferred from the volatile material contact surface to the vapor release surface, the vapor release surface is substantially free of volatile material in liquid form.

The package containing the semiochemical includes at least one portion that is permeable to the volatiles. In some embodiments, the package is formed as a stick pack, and includes a plurality of micro-perforations having characteristics, such as size, density, and shape, that are selected to achieve a desired release rate. In an embodiment, the package is formed from a plurality of laminae, and at least one of the laminae is formed from a material that is selected for its permeability to the semiochemical volatiles. In an embodiment, the package includes a portion that is peeled away to expose a layer that is permeable to the semiochemical volatiles.

Thus, the deodorant can be put in any space where a bad smell needs to be removed and not only saves space but is used very conveniently.

An air flow control element is provided in the casing to permit a user to change the air flow to the wick and thereby vary the air freshener product dispersed into the air. The air flow control element has a knob extending from the casing that is operable by the user. The rear portion of the casing has a fastener to which is attached a clip having two extended flexible arms that engage into a vent grill of an air conditioner system of a vehicle. The clip is securable in the fastener at positions oriented 90 degrees from one another to enable the clip to be fastened to vertically or horizontally oriented air conditioner grill slats.

Abstract: A self-emptying air freshener device for use in garbage receptacles. The air freshener device is attached to the inside upper rim of a garbage receptacle and an air freshener element is placed inside. The air freshener element distributes the desired fragrance into the garbage receptacle. When the garbage receptacle is inverted to dump the contents into a garbage truck or larger bin, the lid of the air freshener device opens allowing the spent air freshener element to discharge. The user will place a new air freshener element into the air freshener device air after each time the garbage receptacle is emptied.

The fire suppression system is connected to the body and includes a container of a fire suppressant. At least one temperature sensor is positioned in close proximity to at least one of the tires. The temperature sensor is adapted to be activated in response to the elevated temperature condition and before the auto-ignition. At least one nozzle is positioned to direct the suppressant toward the tire. An actuator connects the container to the nozzle for the suppressant to be dispersed from the nozzle in response to activation of the sensor.
