The length adjustment facility may be configured to provide a selected strap length based on the diameter of the first barrel. The tensioner may be configured to operate between a released position in which the length adjustment facility is removable from or movable along the flexible strap and an engaged position in which the support facility is engaged to the first barrel.

The plate has two parallel and longitudinal slots, and the strap passes through the slots in the plate. The second part of the frame is configured to form a seat for receiving the plate. The second part of the frame has two side walls and a channel on an inside surface of each side wall adjacent to the angled wall. Abstract: The vehicle for use with the present system is a pickup truck or other work truck with an open cargo space. The cargo space is typically defined by a rectangular bed surrounded by fixed walls on three sides and a tailgate in the rear of the vehicle. The bottom of the cargo space is referred to as the floor or cargo bed floor. Cargo pillars are positioned at the two back corners of the cargo bed. They are also the structural support for a tailgate. The bottom of the tailgate is rotatably connected to the base of the pillars next to the cargo bed floor. When the tailgate is open or down, it is typically about parallel to the cargo bed floor. When the tailgate is up or closed, it is latched or locked to the upper end of the pillars. A fixed or retractable cable strap, chain, rope, or similar line is adapted to be locked together with the locking of a truck tailgate.

The buckle can include a main buckle portion with a pair of side portions and a handle portion extending between the pair of side portions and over the main buckle portion to define a handle aperture. In various embodiments the handle portion and the main buckle portion are a unitary piece composed of a polymer material with the handle portion being flexibly biased towards an uncompressed open shape such that the handle portion is configured to compress against the main buckle portion in response to a compressing force but return to the uncompressed open shape when the compressing force is relieved. In one or more embodiments the handle portion includes a plurality of jointed connection points configured to flatten the profile of the handle portion when the handle portion is exposed to the compressing force.

Abstract: A vehicle is provided herein. The vehicle includes a tailgate adapted to pivotally latch to a vehicle cargo box. A tie-down member having a base portion is coupled to a lateral side of the tailgate assembly. The tie-down member further includes a retaining portion extending from the base portion. The retaining portion may include first and second substantially parallel channels.

Abstract: A clamp for adjustably joining the ends of a strap having ends. The clamp has top and bottom members, and at least one of the top and bottom members has a groove extending from one side to the other side of the clamp. The groove receives the ends of the strap so first portions of the ends of the strap are within the groove and at least one other second portion of the strap extends outward from the sides of the clamp. Complementary aligning portions are located on the top and bottom members to align the top and bottom members to capture the first portions of the ends of the strap by friction within the groove formed within the clamp. The length of the strap is adjusted by the second portion of the strap that extend outward from the sides of the clamp.

Abstract: In a through anchor (10), when an occupant is restrained by webbing (30) in a vehicle emergency, the webbing (30) is moved to the vehicle front side in an insertion hole (22) of a guide piece (18) by movement of the occupant due to inertia, and a vehicle front side end face of the webbing (30) contacts a peripheral face of the insertion hole (22) at high load. A gap is formed between the guide piece (18) and an anchor plate (12). The guide piece (18) is accordingly moved to the vehicle front side with respect to the anchor plate (12) by the webbing (30), thereby enabling occurrence of skewing of the webbing (30) toward the vehicle front side in the insertion hole (20) to be suppressed.

Abstract: A fixing buckle assembly for use as part of a motor vehicle seatbelt restraint system of a type having webbing for positioning on an occupant and a lap pretensioner for pretensioning the seatbelt restraint system. The buckle assembly includes a tongue, preferably affixed to a pyrotechnic lap pretensioner (PLP). The buckle assembly includes a buckle plate featuring an aperture for connection to a loop of the webbing. A cover assembly encases the internal components of the buckle assembly and is formed of two cover halves which are preferably injection molded and snap together in a clam-shell construction. Each of the cover halves have sections which circumscribe a tongue passageway such that after they are assembled and the tongue is inserted in the buckle assembly, the cover halves become interlocked together. At the opposite end of the buckle assembly, the cover halves each include a section extending from the aperture which is retained from separation by being enclosed by the webbing loop.

Through the element the two fasteners can be fixed in position on the bra shoulder strap, at the same time the two fasteners can detach or connect, when connected the fasteners secure the shoulder straps so they stay in the set position, keeping the distance between the shoulder straps fixed, thus preventing the shoulder straps from slipping and the fastener is interchangeable. Different positioning elements for the bra fastener assembly are provided.

Abstract: Buckle type attachment elements, such as for belts, watch bands, or the like, and/or for securing or fastening elements (e.g., for footwear, handbags, briefcases, containers, or other objects) may be produced in a manner that generates minimal waste materials, without the use of metal or mechanical hardware type connectors, from completely recyclable materials, without the need for molding, without the use of plastics, and/or without the use of adhesives or cements. Such buckle elements may include a buckle portion and a tongue portion formed from the same material. In some structures, the tongue portion may be made from a part cut out to form the buckle portion. In other structures, the tongue portion may be formed by cutting slits into a base substrate that also makes up the buckle portion. Final products and methods of making such products also are described.

Abstract: A webbing securing device comprises a main body having two side arms, a first end, a second end, a cavity between the side arms and a cord securing mechanism. There is a releasable central arm connected to the main body adjacent the first end and an elastic cord connected to the second end. The elastic cord is adapted to be secured on the cord securing mechanism, and is dimensioned so that the cord must be stretched in order to be secured on the cord securing mechanism. A length of webbing is secured in the device by feeding a loop of webbing in between the side arms and over the central arm, or over the side arms and underneath the central arm, and securing the elastic cord on the cord securing mechanism, so that the webbing is secured between the side arms and the central arm.

Abstract: Buckle assemblies for use with child seats and other personal restraint systems in vehicles are disclosed herein. A buckle assembly configured in accordance with one embodiment of the disclosure includes a housing assembly that receives at least a portion of a web connector. The housing assembly includes a coating having a generally soft or tactile surface finish. For example, the coating can be at least partially elastically compressible.

Abstract: A slidable buckle for a seatbelt includes a cover which has a number of ribs extending from the cover. The ribs function to limit noise caused by the buckle and webbing coming in contact with a vehicle's interior trim, while at the same time providing a softer, grippable surface for the buckle.

Abstract: A buckle device 10 for a seat belt includes: an anchor plate 11 that can be attached to a vehicle body side; a buckle 20 to which a tongue of the seat belt can be detachably attached; and a woven fabric 30 that is passed through hole portions 14, 26 formed respectively in the anchor plate 11 and the buckle 20, the woven fabric 30 being folded back so as to overlap at least triply and being sewn together in the overlapping part. A tip end portion 31a of the woven fabric 30 tucked into the inner side contacts the opposing buckle 20.

The cinch bar may be deformable through the use of a living hinge connecting the cinch bar to the body of the buckle. The cinch bar may be split into two members, each being deformably coupled to the buckle body, perhaps with living hinges.

The male member includes: a base; a pair of legs that project from the base; engaging portions that are provided on the legs to be engageable with the female member; and a linking body that links the pair of legs. The linking body includes a curved portion that is curved such that the middle thereof is closest to the base. A pair of projecting portions that are substantially parallel with an insertion direction of the male member extend from the base to be disposed outside the curved portion such that the curved portion is interposed therebetween. With this arrangement, the linking body for linking the pair of legs can be disposed with less possibility that other objects are caught in a space in the male member and without increasing a length dimension in the insertion direction more than necessary. The male member can be stably held relative to the female member against a torsion force.

Each of the engaged portions displaces each of the engaging portions in the direction in which the engaging portions get apart with each other and is provided by a concave that has an abutment wall on a rear portion in the releasing direction to be abutted by each of engaging portions. Each of the abutment walls is formed as a slant surface that inclines in the direction in which the abutment walls come closer to each other toward the releasing direction of the male member.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for affixing, rigging or attaching objects, articles or vessels using a fabric case, two double O-ring sets and a cord with two adjustable loops each with a bead stopper or chock. The fabric case serves as a semi-rigid cladding sleeve within which the attached cord extends, making two loops, one each at the opposite ends, each with a threaded bead or chock. Using the bead, the cord loop is passed about and object and returned under two adjacent O-rings, then back over one and under the other of the same O-ring pair to secure the cord loop by means of pressure against the fabric case. In this manner, the semi-rigid fabric cladding sleeve serves as the support base for the pressure or tensioning of the double O-rings and works to fasten or rig the attached objects, articles, or vessels.

Abstract: A lightweight, secure, and low profile adjustable locking buckle has a first steel loop which overlies a second steel loop with a rear member spaced from a front member by two side members. The first loop front member has a forward projection which extends frontwardly and is dimensioned to fit within a central opening in the second loop. Each side member of the second loop has a ramped portion, such that the front member is spaced upwardly from the rear member. A fixed strap encircles the rear portions of the first loop and the second loop and is fixed to a supporting element. An adjustable strap extends beneath the first loop front portion and the second loop front portion, turns over the first loop forward projection and beneath the second loop front portion to be releasably secured to itself. Side tabs may be formed on the loops to facilitate adjustment.

Abstract: An anti-rattle tongue plate is provided that includes two different materials for being operably connected to the body of the tongue plate. One of the materials is softer than the other to minimize noise when the tongue plate engages against interior components of the vehicle such as during rough ride conditions. One of the materials is made into a distinct component for being operably connected to the tongue plate body. In this manner, the tongue plate herein eliminates at least one of the insert molds needed for prior over molded latch plates, thus providing manufacturing and cost efficiencies thereover.

The cover has cover eaves extending from a lower portion.

Abstract: A strap comprises an elongated flexible member and two connectors. The elongated flexible member and two connectors form two loops: a first loop that loops around a wheeled (e.g., carry-on) luggage and a second loop that loops around an item that is separate from the wheeled luggage. The second loop, in conjunction with two inter-loop connectors, secures the item to the wheeled luggage. The item may be placed on top of the wheeled luggage to provide for a more comfortable and relaxed transport of the item with the wheeled luggage.

Abstract: A method of adjusting a length of at least one safety harness strap with an adjuster comprises positioning the adjuster at a desired location along the at least one strap, winding the at least one strap about the shaft, and locking the shaft with the locking mechanism to prevent rotation in an unwinding direction. The at least one strap is selected from the group consisting of at least one shoulder strap, at least one chest strap, at least one waist strap, at least one seat strap, and at least one leg strap. The adjuster includes a base, a shaft rotatably operatively connected to the shaft and defining a slot configured and arranged to receive the at least one strap, and a locking mechanism interconnecting the base and the shaft. The locking mechanism allows rotation of the shaft in one direction and prevents rotation of the shaft in an opposite direction.

Abstract: The auxiliary seat belt device of the present invention is an auxiliary seat belt device which is removably secured to a vehicle seat belt that is installed by connecting a buckle and a tongue that is inserted into the buckle. The auxiliary seat belt device of the present invention includes: a first belt, a first fixation member that has a first through hole that is attached to one end of the first belt, and a first fastening member that is attached to the other end of the first belt. Here, the tongue comprises a tongue insert piece that is inserted into the buckle and connected to the buckle. With the buckle insert piece, which passes through the first through hole, inserted in the buckle, the first fixation member, the tongue and the buckle are connected together. The auxiliary seat belt device of the present invention can be easily attached to or detached from an existing seat belt without having to modify the seat belt.

The assembly also comprises a pin having a shaft, a head, and a retractable latching mechanism. The flexible strap is configured to define a loop such that the passages of a first one and a second one of the plurality of grommets are aligned. The pin is selectively insertable through the passages such that the retractable latching mechanism abuts the substantially flat portion of one of the annular flanges when the pin is inserted through the passages of the first and second grommets.

Abstract: A lightweight, secure, and low profile adjustable locking buckle has a first steel loop which overlies a second steel loop with a rear member spaced from a front member by two side members. The first loop front member has a forward projection which extends frontwardly and is dimensioned to fit within a central opening in the second loop. Each side member of the second loop has a ramped portion, such that the front member is spaced upwardly from the rear member. A fixed strap encircles the rear portions of the first loop and the second loop and is fixed to a supporting element. An adjustable strap extends beneath the first loop front portion and the second loop front portion, turns over the first loop forward projection and beneath the second loop front portion to be releasably secured to itself. Side tabs may be formed on the loops to facilitate adjustment.

Abstract: An adjustable brassiere is provided with a first adjustable buckle fastener in the middle of the interval between the two cups and second adjustable buckle fasteners in the middle of side-straps linking the two cups. Two ends of each adjustable buckle fastener are designed with two slits and a serrated cut adjacent to each inner slit. First adjustable straps extend from the two cups in the interval therebetween and are adjustable coupled to the first adjustable buckle fastener. Side-straps of the two cups include two sections from which second adjustable straps extend. The second adjustable straps are respectively adjustably coupled to the second adjustable buckle fasteners.

Abstract: A strap fastener intended for locking at least one strap tightenably arranged in the strap fastener. The locking of the strap or each of the straps is effected by means of a leaf spring (1) and a roller (2, 3) rotatably arranged in some distance from an end edge (4, 5) of the leaf spring (1). The distance is adapted in such a manner that the strap or each of the straps during the locking may be clamped between the respective roller (2, 3) and edge (4, 5).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a detachable style buckle which is detachable from a strap end portion. The detachable end of the strap is attached to a member which is detachable mounted to a buckle body and that can be quickly and reliably detached from the buckle body. The buckle is constructed to releasably retain another strap end portion therein.

Abstract: A face mask has a lens frame, buckles mounted on transversely opposite extremities of the lens frame, a headband having its longitudinally opposite end portions adjustably held by the respective buckles and a pair of band guides which the headband passes through. The headband is provided on its longitudinally opposite end portions with a plurality of engagement teeth. Each of the band guides has a first guide opening and a second guide opening. The first guide opening is formed with a first guide area and a second guide areas. The first guide area is adapted to guide zones of the end portion extending along its transversely opposite side edges 8 and the second guide area is adapted to guide the engagement teeth. The second guide opening has a height corresponding to or slightly larger than a thickness t of the end portion.
