Abstract: A double band clamp assembly with a no-hub coupling. The clamp assembly has a first elongate band with a first end and a second end disposed opposite from the first end. The clamp assembly includes a second elongate band having a first end and a second end opposite from the first end. The second elongate band is disposed in spaced apart, substantially parallel relation to the first elongate band. A third elongate band has a plurality of slots defined therein. The third elongate band has a first end and a second end disposed opposite from the first end. The third elongate band extends from the first ends of the first and second elongate bands.

Abstract: A band clamp having a band and a nut and bolt fastener. The band includes radially-extending opposed flanges each having an aperture for receiving the bolt. The bolt has a shank that includes a neck, a threaded body for receiving the nut, and a tapered transition from the neck to the threaded body. In one embodiment, the tapered transition extends only partially around the shank such that a portion of the neck has a common surface with the body. During tightening, the radially inward facing surface of the aperture in the flange can engage the threaded body and slide along the threaded body across the common surface and onto the neck without having to traverse and ride up over the tapered transition. In another embodiment, the nut has an angled shoulder that engages the tapered transition when the nut is tightened to the desired axial position on the bolt.

Abstract: A hermetic adjustable hose clamp to be used on hoses and the like of different diameters, comprises a strap having two parallel loops and two cylinders inserted in the two loops. A clamping tension is applied to the strap surrounding the hoses by an adjustable screw which joins the two cylinders which are supported at both loops of the strap.

Abstract: A radially contractible hose clamp is provided with axially spaced serrations having inwardly facing openings and spaced gripping edges symmetrical about a centerline of each opening, with the serrations extending substantially the entire circumference of the clamp.

Abstract: A pipe restraint device that will prevent pressure-induced separation of cast iron soil pipes or the like joined by a sealing coupling comprises at least one stiff yet forceably springable rod having lengths thereof curved to substantially the outside curvature of the pipe and forming two coils spaced apart for encircling respective pipe surfaces at opposite sides of the sealing coupling, with end portions of the rod or rods arranged in oppositely directed first and second pairs defining a contractable region of the coils; and structures including at least one rigid strut bracket formed to bridge the sealing coupling axially are engaged with the pairs of rod end portions for displacing them relative to one another substantially tangentially under great tension and holding them so displaced in immovably tight engagement upon the pipe surfaces.

Abstract: The clamping-band is equipped with a split inner ring with an eccentric bore. A rigid inner half-collar partially surrounds the inner ring by means of runners forming with the ring a ball and socket device, and terminated on one side by one securing tab. A rigid outer half-collar partially covers the inner half-collar and terminates on one side in a second securing tab. The two securing tabs are equipped with oblong holes which are facing for the purposes of securing and clamping the collar.

Abstract: A clamp has a first curved portion with one end connected to a second curved portion which overlaps or surrounds a segment of the first curved portion including the free end thereof. The free end of the second curved portion is connected to an extension, which has an elongated slot adjacent its end and an inclined lower surface adjacent its end. A base extends from one of the first and second curved portions in substantially the same direction as the extension and has an inclined upper surface at its end for cooperation with the inclined lower surface of the extension. The base has an opening extending therethrough to receive a screw, which passes through the slot in the extension prior to passing through the opening in the base.
