Abstract: A custom tool accessory to hold a tool, the custom tool accessory including a body, at least one tongue disposed at a first side of the body, at least one tongue receiving groove disposed at a second side of the body opposite from the first side of the body, and a tool holding portion disposed on the body to hold the tool. At least one magnet is attached to the underside of a metallic base plate that is in turn secured to the underside of the body. A retainer surrounds the at least one magnet and also underlies the area of the bottom of the base plate that is not covered by the at least one magnet.

Abstract: Structural connectors used as a component to construct an arch including a plurality of closely adjacent, polygonal rows of stringer beams. The multiple row polygonal arch is a low-cost, general purpose support structure for bridges, shelters and arbors applicable to many cost-, time- or environmentally-sensitive situations. The structural connectors may be a Y-shaped connectors with three brackets, two upper brackets and a lower bracket, which collectively enable a union of three beams forming one node of the multiple row polygonal arch. Using these Y-shaped connectors to join the beams at each node creates the arch structure, and additionally provides the features of cantilevering, modularity, generic component shape, reusability and safety. Structural connectors are applicable to a variety of structures such as pedestrian and vehicular bridges, shelters, arbors, as well as jewelry, furniture and toys. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also included.

Abstract: Provided is a paper clip. The paper clip includes: a paper fixing part having a base plate and a clip coupled to the base plate to fix sheets of paper to the base plate; and a fixture for fixing the paper fixing part thereto in such a manner as to allow the base plate to be separably disposed therefrom. The base plate has locking protrusions formed protrudingly from both end portions of one side thereof, and the fixture has locking hooks adapted to separably support the locking protrusions thereagainst. The base plate has a fixing protrusion formed on the region where the locking protrusions are formed, and the fixture has a fixing groove formed on a position corresponding to the fixing protrusion in such a manner as to fixedly insert the fixing protrusion thereinto.

Abstract: A syringe adapter for holding various sizes of syringes. A syringe includes a tip, a barrel, a plunger, a flange, and a syringe axis extending from the tip to the plunger. An example syringe holder attaches to a fluid delivery system and includes a syringe clamp. The syringe holder holds a syringe stationary in the syringe clamp. The syringe clamp is offset from the fluid delivery system such that the syringe, or connections to the syringe, does not interfere with other components of the fluid delivery system. The syringe holder may include a support bar, which the syringe clamp can slide along. Alternatively, the syringe clamp may be rotatable.

Abstract: The invention is a structural connector used as a component to construct an arch consisting of a plurality of closely adjacent, polygonal rows of stringer beams. Abstract: A hydraulic lash adjuster arrangement is provided that includes a cylinder head including a bore and at least one hydraulic fluid gallery. The hydraulic lash adjuster arrangement includes a hydraulic lash adjuster assembly including a housing positioned in the bore of the cylinder head and including an annular body that includes a port on a radially outer wall of the housing. A plunger is arranged within the annular body of the housing and is axially displaceable therein. A clip including a circular body is arranged radially between the housing and the cylinder head. The clip includes at least one first tab extending radially outwardly that engages the at least one hydraulic fluid gallery and at least one second tab extending radially inwardly that engages the port.

Abstract: A camera system is configured to detachably couple to a camera mount, which in turn can be attached to an apparatus. The camera mount is a spring clamp including two arms, each include a handle component and a jaw component. The spring clamp can be attached to an apparatus when the two jaw components are closed around the apparatus. A strap is adjustably coupled to the spring clamp and is tightened around the apparatus to further secure the apparatus. In some cases, a flexible neck is fastened to the camera mount, and the camera system is detachably coupled to the flexible neck. This allows a mounted camera system to be situated at any desired angle for taking photographs.

Abstract: A self-locking clip may include a first member configured to attach to an item, the first member having a tongue arranged adjacent the item when the first member is attached to the item, the tongue configured to allow an article to be received between the tongue and the item when the first member is attached to the item; a second member pivotally attached to the first member, the second member having at least one engagement surface for engaging the article, when the first member is attached to the item and the article is received between the tongue and the item; and a bias member arranged to bias the second member to pivot in a direction to urge the at least one engagement surface toward the article to engage the article, when the first member is attached to the item and the article is received between the tongue and the item.

Abstract: A laundry retainer for bed sheets to prevent entanglement with smaller items in a mixed load. The retainer has a base plate on which at least four clothes clips are mounted. The clothes clips grip the side edges of a sheet to form a generally closed mouth bag in which smaller items in a mixed load are less likely to become entangled.

Abstract: A clip has an opposed jaw end, a bridged back end and defines a slot extending across the bridged back end. It is connected to an article, for example, another clip or a float, which has an enlarged spherical head extending longitudinally therefrom. The head of the post has a diameter which is slightly greater than the width of the slot so that the connected item has rotational freedom of movement by receipt of the spherical head through the slot.

Abstract: A compact, portable, temporary mount for portable devices capable of mounting such a device to any smooth, flat surface is described. The apparatus is compact, lightweight, and can be deployed and removed quickly and easily for user convenience. Certain embodiments of the present invention also provide means for multi-directional adjustment for obtaining optimal desired viewing angle for the portable device and can universally adapt to a wide variety of devices and device cases. Furthermore, multiple methods of attaching the present invention to a device or device case are described.

Abstract: This invention provides a single or multi-ganged clip that can be grouped into a festooned arrangement. That is, a plurality of clips are arranged together into a discrete assembly along a line of extension so that a human or automated handler can retrieve a grouping, separate one-clip-at-a-time from the grouping, and apply the separated clip to a mold cavity or other assembly structure. Each clip can include a base with opposing ends aligned in the direction of extension and transverse to an elongation direction for a connecting segment (if any) between ganged clip members. In an illustrative embodiment, these base ends include opposing male and female connectors. In this embodiment the male connector is a cylinder with an axis that extends transverse to the direction of elongation and the female connector defines a conforming cylindrical inner diameter, which allows it to nest over the male cylinder.

Abstract: In order to provide a synthetic resin clip and a hanger with synthetic resin clips that are high in safety and can yet be produced at low cost, a synthetic resin clip and synthetic resin clips to be provided on a hanger are arranged with engaging portions being formed on inner surface portions of tips of a synthetic resin spring, which is formed in a “U” shape by being folded back at an intermediate portion, window holes for sliding of molding dies being formed on outer portions of clip members in order to form receiving portions, engaging with the engaging portions, at inner portions of the clip members, insertion spaces, into which the tip portions of the synthetic resin spring are inserted, being formed in the direction of sliding of the dies between upper edges of the window holes and upper end portions of the receiving portions, and fly-apart preventing bars being disposed across the upper and lower edges of the window holes.

Abstract: A partition mounting system a system mitigates or eliminates sag, or gaps, between an installed curtain and an abutting surface such as a wall or ceiling. The system accomplishes this in a manner that avoids permanent damage to the wall or ceiling surface. A clamp is mounted between an erected pole and a nearby wall, window, or other surface. The clamp interfaces with a head that urges the curtain against the wall over the length of the head, using the pole and wall for leverage. In this manner, the effectiveness of an installation is increased, by reducing or eliminating gaps in the curtain along the wall.

Abstract: A clip for holding cannula so as to alleviate ear discomfort by reducing the weight and tension created by the cannula. The present invention includes a clip and a cannula holder. The clip can comprise stiff arms that are opened by applying pressure to the arms. This enables the patient to attach the device to a fixed object such as clothing or bedding. The cannula holder securely retains the cannula. By retaining the cannula in the cannula holder according to the present invention, less tension and shearing force is transferred from the cannula to a patient's ears, face, neck, or skin. Thus, the subject invention provides a cannula clip that reduces skin discomfort and irritation.

Abstract: A clip comprising first, second and third clamping elements which are connected together by a common biasing element. The biasing element comprises a flat plate of stainless steel which is folded to form a spring which biases a part of the first element and a part of the second element together to form a primary clamp. The biasing element also biases a part of the second element and a part of the third element together to form a secondary clamp.

Abstract: A clamp pad-body assembly that resists a separation of the clamp pad from the clamp body due to externally applied forces. The clamp body has a peripheral surface that has a height that is greater than the height of the exterior perimeter surface of the pad, and the exterior perimeter surface of the pad abuts the perimeter surface of a recess in the clamp body. The clamp pad-body assembly my be incorporated into a clothes hanger including two such clamps disposed at the ends of a beam coupled to a question-mark-shaped hook.

Abstract: A multiple clip fastener for securing sections of hair of a human being in rows and for aligning hair clips. The apparatus is a semicircle headband, retaining comb, or barrette that has a plurality of hair clips integrally attached and aligned longitudinally along their top. In use, the headband, retaining comb, or barrette is attached to the hair and hair sections are neatly aligned and secured in rows to the multiple clip fastener by placing each corresponding hair section into corresponding hair clip. Each clip remains aligned with each other and the multiple clip hair fastener is removable and reusable.

The clip is removably attached to clothing by clipping the clothing between the inner and middle jaws. An item to be carried is removably clipped between the outer and middle jaws. The pivoted gripping member is automatically maintained in a parallel relationship with the middle jaw, regardless of the thickness of the item.

A constrainable member (e.g., a spring) is supported at its opposite ends by corresponding ones of the arms in the pairs. This is the only constrainable member in the page clamping device. When the spring is unconstrained, the arms in each pair are normally closed. The arms in each pair are pivotable independently of the arms in the other pair. The arms in each pair have at first positions camming peripheries which cause one of such arms to pivot when the other of such arms is pivoted. The arms in each pair have at second positions camming peripheries which provide a stable relationship between the arms when the arms are in an open position. The arms in each pair are disposed on the opposite sides of a book from the arms in the other pair. With the arms in the open relationship, the pages can be easily turned.

The holder is designed to be attached to articles of clothing, clothing accessories, automobile visors, or other areas whereby it is available for conveniently receiving and retaining a pair of eyeglasses. The eyeglass holder desirably can be rotated for awkward areas of attachment, or convenient areas of placement such as a purse strap. Notably, the holder can be pressed open by the wearer for ease of eyeglass temple bar insertion or removal. The holder can desirably have a releasable cover for a wearer to have a variety of choices of holder aesthetics. The holder broadly comprises of a clip or a pin, pivot, and hook arrangement; a cylindrical connection or a slit and guide connection; and a frontal elongate plate member pivotally mounted onto a base member; and, optionally, a removable cover.

Abstract: A mechanical animated display assembly is attached to an automobile wiper arm assembly. The display assembly includes a displayed article and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket includes a clamp mechanism to be attached to the automobile wiper arm assembly. An article holder mechanism is integral with the mounting bracket for carrying the displayed article. A retainer retains the displayed article on the mounting bracket whereby the display assembly, in combination with oscillation of automobile wiper arm, effectuates an animated visual effect of the article being carried by and manipulated by a human arm in a waving motion.

Abstract: A money clip having greater resilience without yielding by using a thin, stiff material. The clip may have a base and a lever, the lever being connected to the base by a spring, subject to bending deflection in use. The clip provides a reverse bend, or knee between the principal bend at the back of the clip, and a lip at the front of the clip. A long tongue extends as part of a base, extending out from the front of the clip where the lip contacts the tongue along a contact line. Near the back of the clip, the spring is formed as a loop having a diameter greater than the throat formed by the lever and base at their greatest distance from one another. The throat provides greater leverage on money held in the clip than does the lip, but both provide significant force to secure money without yielding the spring or lever, and without allow the money two turn, twist, or slide. A single bill, or fifty bills may be inserted into the clip with a totally elastic response by the clip.

Abstract: An improved helical torsion spring is disclosed which contains an integrally attached clip. The improved helical torsion contains: (a) a helical torsion spring having a coiled portion and front and end non-coiled portions; (b) a clip having a transverse opening for sleeving about the coiled portion of the helical torsion spring, and a concave slot for receiving a slim-bodied object. The transverse opening of the clip has a section-section smaller than a length of either of the front or end non-coiled portion so as to retain the clip therebetween. The improved helical torsion spring can be used in essentially the same a conventional torsion spring can be used; however, it provides the advantage of being able to carry a slim-bodied object such as pencils, pens, or other similar goods.

Abstract: A hinge clamp for attaching a wire grid to an edge portion of a sheet metal light fixture comprising a base plate, a short leg plate and a long leg plate. The leg plates extend orthogonally from opposite side edges of the base plate and are disposed in parallel spaced relation to each other. Each of the base plates has an aperture therein adapted to receive a screw to secure the edge portion of the light fixture to the hinge clamp. The long leg plate of the hinge clamp has a planar inner portion and a curved outer portion. The planar inner portion comprises a near section and a middle finger extending outwardly from the near section. The outer curved portion comprises two identically configured outer fingers located on opposite sides of the middle finger. Each outer finger has an arcuate detent formed therein which is adapted to receive an edge wire of a wire grid in a snap-fit connection. An edge wire of the wire grid is entrapped on one side by the detent and on the other side by the middle finger.

Abstract: A hanger clip adapted specifically for the dry cleaning industry. The device includes an elongated main body. At each end of the main body are a pair of hanger securing means. The hanger securing means are adapted to clip around the throat portion of a hanger. The hanger clip is inserted into the group of hangers through the open area of the hangers, and is moved upward to the throat of the hanger until the clips are secured on the throats of two terminal hangers in the desired group. The clip also includes a scanner identifiable tag.

Abstract: A bag closure device for sealing the end of a rolled, plastic produce bag of the type having two or more opposing jaws connected by struts and a flexible hinge for each set of opposed jaws. The hinge is made of flexible material. Teeth are placed on the inside surfaces of the opposing jaws to hold the rolled bag within the jaws. The device seals the bag by gripping the bag with each opposed jaw.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cloth hanger clip for holding a material in which a first resilient hook defines a material holding space an second resilient hook defines a wire holding space. The hooks are formed at ends of an intermediate portion. A recess is formed in the intermediate portion for receiving the tip of the first hook in which the recess is positioned outside of the material holding space.

Abstract: A pocket retainer clip for eyeglasses is provided. The retainer is designed to be carried in a pocket or the like, whereby it is available conveniently for receiving and retaining a pair of eyeglasses or spectacles in the pocket. The retainer broadly includes a pocket dip, spring operator, and an eyeglasses temple clamp.

Abstract: An improved spring clip retainer for a telescopic coupling such as the coupling between a fuel filter and a fuel line. The retainer comprises a first pair of opposed spring fingers which grasp and hold the male portion of the coupling and a second pair of opposed spring fingers which grasp and hold a longitudinally spaced portion of the female coupling element. The second set of fingers are longer than the first and are provided with a self-aiming, one-way latch which is readily operated by squeezing the longer fingers toward one another after association with the small diameter female fuel line coupling component. Through this operation the retainer can be effectively permanently associated with a fuel line subassembly which is joined to the fuel filter in a subsequent operation.

Abstract: A planter clip is used to secure a plurality of pots containing plants together in order to prevent the pots tipping over in high winds. The planter clip comprises an elongate middle section having a clip on both ends. The clips are secured to the top rims of the pots and one clip is used to secure two adjacent pots together in a spaced arrangement. It is possible to secure a plurality of pots in a spaced grid pattern by using a plurality of such clips.

Abstract: An eyeglass fastening device for safely securing eyeglasses to the clothes or other article of the wearer when the eyeglasses are not being used, thereby facilitating the carrying of the eyeglasses in a ready and safe manner, so as to prevent the eyeglasses from dropping or being lost in the even of jumping, running and exercising, wherein a clip-like member is attached to one end of a fastening belt for ready attachment to the clothes of the wearer, and a buckle unit is disposed at the opposite end of the fastening belt so that the eyeglasses can be engaged or disengaged from the fastening belt with ease.

Abstract: A holder for supporting and securing such items as eyeglasses within a shirt or coat pocket is disclosed. The holder utilizes a hollow holder housing having opposed front and rear walls and relatively narrow side walls. A pivot arm is pivotally secured within the housing and has included therein a movable grip projecting through the front wall which engages a stationary grip secured to the external surface of the front wall. A spring member interconnected between the housing and the pivot arm urges the movable grip into closed position with the stationary grip which grips, in closed position, secure, for example, the temple piece of eyeglasses. A spring clip positioned on the rear wall of the holder housing secures the housing and such items as eyeglasses secured therein within the shirt or coat pocket of the user.

The clip has at least one stirrup portion (6) which engages over the clamps and which in its closed position snaps, with inner catches (7a, 9a) disposed on its two elastically spreadable limbs (7, 9), behind associated catches (3d, 4d) on the two mutually oppositely disposed outermost clamping limb portions (3a, 4b) of clamps (3, 4) which are arranged in side-by-side relationship in one plane. The stirrup portion is provided at each intermediate space between two clamps which are covered over thereby in the closed position thereof, with a bar portion (12) which in the closed position engages between said clamps and thereby resiliently spreads apart the two clamping limb portions (3b, 4a) which are most closely adjacent thereto.

Abstract: A disc cartridge for containing therein an information recording disc, such as a video disc, has a detachable lid which is engaged with an opening of said cartridge. The lid has a pair of engaging means which are integrally formed with the lid body by a synthetic resin. Each of the engaging means comprises a curved lock arm having a projection to be received in a recess made in a cartridge body, and is connected to the end of the lid body at its one end. A plurality of leaf spring elements constitute a zigzag-shaped spring member which is interposed between one end of the lid body and the lock arm. Some of the leaf spring elements have thin and thick portions so that stress applied thereto will be dispersed. In one embodiment, the dimension of the thick portions is selected so that the thick portion abuts against an adjacent leaf spring when the zigzag-shaped spring member is compressed.
