Abstract: There is provided a ring sizing insert. The insert includes a pair of elongate members each of which is shaped to partially extend about the opening of a ring. A first of the elongate members includes a pair of spaced-apart, outwardly extending protrusions. A second of the elongate members includes a pair of spaced-apart recesses shaped to selectively receive respective ones of the protrusions. The elongate members when coupled together form a receptacle within which a portion of the band of the ring fits.

Abstract: A fixing element for orienting vertically stacked cuboid containers has first and second vertical sidewalls and a connecting element wherein the first sidewalls form a right angle with each other and the second sidewalls face the outer sides of the first sidewalls. The fixing element can be form fittingly fastened on the corners of a container, wherein a further container is arranged on the fixing element and is fixed in its horizontal position relative to the first container. The fixing element can be easily released again and reused. An embodiment is disclosed with a connecting element as spacer whereby a spacing of two containers is achieved. When two containers are thus stacked with their upper open sides facing each other a third container can be accommodated therein.

Abstract: A fastening device is provided for securing a shoelace knot. The fastening device has a base plate configured to conceal a portion of a knot of a tied shoelace, wherein the base plate has an upper surface and a lower surface. The fastening device also has a first clamping assembly arranged on the lower surface of the base plate. The first clamping assembly has an arm moveable between an open position and a closed position. The fastening device also has a second clamping assembly arranged on the lower surface of the base plate. The second clamping assembly has an arm moveable between an open position and a closed position. In addition, the arm of the first clamping assembly and the arm of the second clamping assembly are independently moveable.

Abstract: There are disclosed embodiments of a marking clip for marking garments which may be stacked flat on a surface. The marking clip is generally U-shaped with leg portions joined by a bight portion and is preferably molded of flexible, resilient, plastics material and bears repetitive indicia along the outer surface of the leg and bight portions. Two or more marking clips may be coupled to provide selected combinations.

Abstract: A clip having structure for detachably interlocking with another clip having substantially equivalent structure. The clip of this invention can be used to secure items, such as gloves, to garments being worn by a user. The instant clips may be made from a resilient material and include a base structure defining an aperture and a gap, which enable the detachable interlinking. One of the clips includes generally opposed arms in mechanical communication with jaw members biased in a contacting relation. The jaw members are forced apart by the user applying opposing forces to each of the arms. The jaw members operably grasp the article when the arms are released.

Abstract: An improved hose clasp for supporting a filter bag in a generally upright orientation on a pool cleaner as disclosed, for example, in U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,863,425; 4,558,479; and 3,822,754. The hose clasp includes a generally cylindrical split collar having separable free ends including a pair of radially outwardly extending clasp arms. The clasp arms are springably separable to permit placement of the split collar onto a supply hose or the like coupled to the pool cleaner. The clasp arms are notched to accommodate movement to an interlocked cross-over position, with a boss on one of the clasp arms protruding through a lock port in the other clasp arm. A leash member such as a ported tab carried by the filter bag is fitted over the boss in a position interposed between the interlocked clasp arms to support the filter bag relative to the supply hose.

Abstract: Described is a retention mechanism for a mobile terminal. The retention mechanism comprises a frame configured to receive the mobile terminal, where the frame includes channels. The retention mechanism also comprises a release lever configured to receive a wearable accessory, where the release lever includes rails. The frame is one of releasably and permanently coupled to the release lever by inserting the channels of the frame in the rails of the release lever.

Abstract: Here is disclosed a snorkel clip comprising a first clip member attached to a strap of a face mask for swimming or diving and a second clip member to which a breathing conduit of the snorkel is attached. The first clip member has a guide enabling the second clip member coupled to the first clip member to be moved in a longitudinal direction of the strap. The first and second clip members are formed with stopper means adapted to retain the second clip member at a desired position in the guide.

Abstract: An improved hanger for storage and display of material such as fabric and the like. The hanger includes opposed panel sides interconnected at an upper spine portion. Fabric or other material is placed between the panels and is retained by a unique set of clips applied externally of the panel sides combined with and high-friction components including friction plates or clips with friction nibs positioned within the panels. A resilient spring clip is moved into a gripping position so as to impart pressure to the assemblage. Embodiments of the friction plates include a first U-shaped bracket element designed to be friction fitted along a side of one of the panels, while a second U-shaped bracket element is configured to be friction fitted along an opposing panel. The first bracket includes a detent arrangement for retaining the spring clip in a gripping position.

Abstract: A flexible molded hanger for removable placement on the top of masonry walls to support Christmas lights and other displays. The hanger is bowed to facilitate placement and provided with a central pediment to receive a stabilizing member. Retention chips are formed on the hanger at spaced locations.

Abstract: The present display is comprised of a first mounting bracket with holes spaced for attaching to a license plate on a vehicle. An arm is attached to the first mounting bracket. A first snap buckle is attached to an outer end of the arm. A display panel has a lower edge attached to a second mounting bracket. A second snap buckle is attached to the second mounting bracket. The display panel is attached to the vehicle by connecting the first and second snap buckles together. The display panel is easily detached or replaced by disconnecting the snap buckles. In a second embodiment, a flag is attached to a third snap buckle for being detachably connected to the first snap buckle.

Abstract: A new art form of neon lights in forming functional shapes, letters and numbers of a single plane suitable to being mounted with the use of clips which also supply electricity to light the tubes of neon letters when the clips are secured to two metal rods inserted in vertical plastic hangers and hung, such as in a window and end pieces which have the electrical connections built in, are applied at both the rods at either end and a transformer lead is connected to provide its DC power.

Abstract: A clip for releasably maintaining articles clipped together has a resilient narrow tether headed at opposite ends with a first resilient clip connected at a rearward end on the headed portion at one end of the tether and a second resilient clip connected at a rearward end on the headed portion at the opposite end in axially opposed relation. The first and second clips each have a pair of longitudinal finger gripping portions extending outwardly from their rearward end in a spaced apart relation and a pair of abutting jaw portions at a forward end thereof. The finger gripping portions are sufficiently resilient such that when pressed together by the fingers of the operator, the jaw portions will open and when released will be urged toward the abutted condition.

Abstract: A link for a pegless clothes line is molded from resilient plastic material and has a stud formation at one end and a recess for receiving a neck of the stud formation of the adjacent link, at the other end. A diamond-shaped aperture opens at one end into an entrance to the recess, and at the other end into an undulating pinch slot of V-shaped cross section. Clothes to be dried have their corners poked through the apertures and are then slid sideways along the pinch slots which hold them in position. Oblique bars enhance the resilience of the sides of the pinch slot.

Abstract: A coupling member for coupling two tubular members together includes an attachment portion and a coupling portion formed integrally therewith. The attachment portion includes a member which partially wraps around the tubular member and forms a glide. The coupling portion includes a male coupling element juxtaposed next to a female coupling element. The male coupling element is receivable within a female element of a second identical coupling member and the female coupling element receives a male coupling element of the second coupling member. By this configuration, identical coupling members may be snapped to respective tubular base frames of two chairs to gang the chairs together when the coupling members are mated.

Abstract: A decoupling clip for joining parts for normal use in a secure fashion and yet be easily separated as necessary for servicing includes a first clip having at least one spring clamp which extends into lockable, permanent engagement with a first part and a second clip with at least one spring clamp which lockably and permanently engages a second part. One of the first or second clips includes an aperture for removably receiving a decoupling locking element on the other of said clips whereby each of the clips are permanently mounted to a respective part and removably mounted to each other through the releasable interconnection of the locking member and recess.

Abstract: A connector is disclosed which is useful as an element of a toy construction set, or in constructing various structures which can be easily disassembled. The connector includes a mutual connection portion for use in mutually connecting a plurality of connectors and which includes a female connecting portion formed by a recess with an octagonal inner cross section and a male connecting portions formed by a projection with an octagonal outer cross section. A clip member is preferably unitarily formed with the mutual connection portion and extends away therefrom for gripping a planar object and securing the planar object relative to the mutual connection portion. The clip member includes a pair of substantially parallel horizontally elongated legs fixed to the mutual connection portion and extending therefrom. The elongated legs are resilient and closely adjacent one another, such that they are adapted to grip the planar object by way of a biasing force.

Abstract: A bouyant hanger unit comprises an elongated body molded of plastic to provide a clip on the bottom end thereof for holding a dental film chip in the plane of the hanger unit. The hanger unit has a circular projection on one face thereof axially aligned with a circular recess on the opposite face thereof. Such a construction enables a plurality of hanger units to be assembled face-to-face while permitting any of the hanger units to be pivoted away from the remaining hanger units in the assembly for the purpose of examining the dental film chip clipped on the bottom thereof. When the individual hanger units or an assembly of the hanger units with dental film chips clipped on the bottom thereof are placed in a solution they float in an upright position with the upper end thereof extending above the surface of the solution.

Abstract: The invention relates to a telephone note holder in the form of a two piece molded clip that may be assembled by snapping the two parts together after which the assembled note holder may be clipped into place on a cradle type telephone and which includes an upright portion having a spring clip for holding notes.
