With Distinct, Stationary Means For Anchoring Slider Patents (Class 24/387)
  • Patent number: 12035785
Abstract: A magnetic buckle device has a first base, a major inserting head, a second major base, two major components, and a controlling assembly. The major inserting head can be inserted into the first base to engage and lock. The second major base and the first base can be moved or rotated with respect to each other such that the major inserting head enters a disengaging state. The two major components are respectively mounted on the second major base and the major inserting head. When the major inserting head is close to a major insertion hole of the first base, a magnetic force is generated between the two major components to guide the major inserting head to close the major insertion hole and assist the major inserting head in inserting. After the major inserting head is inserted, the magnetic force also assists the major inserting head in staying in the engaging state.

  • Patent number: 9902529
Abstract: Access-limiting mechanism limits access to a container. Access is controlled by moving a slider back and forth along a plastic zipper, opening and closing the zipper. The access-limiting mechanism includes, in addition to the slider, a coupler. The coupler can stay fixed, immovable, at a given location, relative to the zipper; or can be moved along the length of the zipper. As the slider moves close to the coupler, the slider and coupler are coupled to each other, limiting the ability of the slider to open the zipper. Access can be further limited by adding a second control mechanism such as a cover which overlies, optionally latches to, one or both of the slider and the coupler. To open the container, the slider and coupler, and/or as applies the cover, are released from respective coupling arrangements. Then, the slider can be moved away from the coupler to open the container.

Abstract: A device for forming a seal includes upper and lower seal members, and a slider, wherein mating surfaces of the seal members interlock. In at least one embodiment, a lifting rib and closure bar on the slider cooperate with a lifting wing and closure bar groove on the upper and lower seal members, respectively. By moving the slider in one direction, the lifting rib lifts the upper seal member from the lower seal member. Moving the slider in the opposite direction causes the upper and lower seal members to interlock. In another embodiment, a slider has an intermediate lateral member connected on one side the slider top, and connected on the other side to the slider bottom. A breakaway sealing device is also provided, allowing a person to break the closed seal. A beginning stop block is also provided that includes a means for securing the upper seal member.

Abstract: A stopper portion has a minute protrusion on part of an outer peripheral face except a side face in the length direction of a fastener tape. This protrusion is a rib-like protrusion extended linearly in the length direction of the fastener tape formed on a vertex of the surface of a bent portion, a protrusion extended so as to be expanded in a curved shape in the length direction of the fastener tape or a rib-like protrusion protruded along a boundary portion between the bent portion of the stopper portion and a bottom face thereof. Existence of this protrusion not only reduces a sliding resistance when the slider is started but also eliminates prickly feeling and feeling of disharmony originating from a shape of an upper stopper which is a kind of the conventional stopper portion.

  • Patent number: 7111714
Abstract: A slide fastener and related pull are disclosed. The pull is formed of an elongate strip of material defining a handle portion between a first end and an opposite second end. The first end of the pull is attached to the article bearing an elongate set of engaging structures for the slide fastener. A slide for operably engaging the set of engaging structures is attached to the pull toward the opposite second end. Accordingly, the handle portion forms an easily graspable quasi-pull chord for opening and closing the pull fastener. In a preferred embodiment, a tab portion of the pull extends from the slide attachment point on the pull to the second end of the pull, and it is detachably secured to the article when the slide fastener is in its closed position. Accordingly, the pull itself can be used as a storage device to hang objects such as a towel, a pair of shoes or the like therefrom. The pull can also serve as a protective cover for the pull fastener and have surface ornamentation thereon.

A gap portion, wider than the base portion of the rib, is formed between adjoining ribs, therefore the rib avoids strike of a sewing needle not to be damaged thereby and the gap portion ensures sewing of the fastener tape onto the sewing object.
