  • Publication number: 20090106952
Abstract: A zipper head includes a puller, a horse hook, an elastic piece, a cap and a pulling piece. The puller has guiding grooves there inside and an accommodating portion and a penetrating hole on top thereof. The end portion is disposed under the horse hook. One end of the elastic piece is fixed on the puller. Both sides in the interior of the cap are provided with a protrusion respectively. The two protrusions of the cap are located above the fulcrum portion of the horse hook. Via the above arrangement, a function of blocking and restricting the position of the fulcrum portion of a horse hook can be provided, and thus the fulcrum portion of the horse hook cannot be displaced excessively due to an extreme pulling force of the pulling piece. Therefore, the horse hook can be prevented from getting deformed or deviating from a predetermined position.

  • Patent number: 7360285
Abstract: An automatic lock slider 1 for a concealed slide fastener comprises a slider body 3, a locking lever 5 and a knob 11. The locking lever 5 is pivotally mounted on the slider body 3. A locking pawl 53 on one end 55 of the locking lever 5 is urged into a fastener element guide channel 39 of the slider body 3 by a spring 7, to prevent unintentional sliding of the slider 1 along a slide fastener. The knob 11 is attached to a connecting ring 9 through which the locking lever 5 is inserted. When opening or closing the slide fastener, the knob 11 rocks and lifts the locking lever 11 to withdraw the locking pawl 53 from the fastener element guide channel 39, thereby allowing movement of the slider 1 along the slide fastener.

  • Patent number: 6430785
Abstract: An object of this invention is to provide a zipper pull of resilient body which is attached to a slider in a lateral direction thereof and capable of sliding the slider by rotating the zipper pull slightly so that the zipper pull is held in a stabilized state. A zipper pull mounting portion is provided on a top surface of a slider body and a connecting body of a zipper pull is disposed in a lateral direction relative to the mounting portion. The connecting body is comprised of two lateral bars disposed in parallel and vertical bars connected to both ends thereof so as to be protruded longitudinally. One of the vertical bars is buried in the zipper pull of resilient body so as to form a fixing portion. The zipper pull has an annular shape for surrounding the slider body. The lateral bars of the connecting body are inserted into the mounting portion.

  • Patent number: 5843436
Abstract: An agent capable of inhibiting signalling mediated by a .beta..sub.1 integrin cell surface receptor of leukocyte cells will treat a bacterial infection associated with a surface of a foreign body over and around which fibrin has been deposited, or a malignant tumor over and around which tenascin has been deposited. In addition, coating a foreign body with a fibrinolytic agent will prevent chronic bacterial infection associated with the surface of the foreign body. Furthermore, an agent capable of stimulating signalling mediated by a .beta..sub.1 integrin cell surface receptor of leukocyte cells will treat chronic inflammation.

  • Patent number: 5628094
Abstract: A lock slider, for a slide fastener, includes an upper wing having an interior surface adapted to be in contact with a pair of fastener tapes, and a wedge-like ridge projecting from the interior surface of the upper wing and extending from a guide post toward a rear end of the upper wing for spreading open the respective closely abutting inner longitudinal edges of the fastener tapes. A tapering fore end portion and a rectangular stem of the ridge has a sharp edge. The upper wing further has, in its interior surface, a recessed portion extending around the fore end portion and the stem for for allowing the inner longitudinal tape edges to be displaced into the recessed portion when they are spread open by the ridge. An aperture for the passage of a locking pawl is formed in the upper wing at an intermediate portion of the ridge.

  • Patent number: 5611121
Abstract: In an automatic lock slider for a concealed slide fastener, a fastener-element guide post of a slider body has an upper groove receiving a locking lever and a lower groove slidably receiving a sliding end of a pivoting release member. A spring mounted in the guide post acts on an actuating arm of the locking lever to urge a locking pawl of the locking lever to normally project into a fastener-element guide channel of the slider body. An ornamental knob attached to the pivoting release member covers exposed part of the slider body. As the knob is pulled to pivotally move the release member, the locking pawl is retracted from the guide channel.

  • Patent number: 5603144
Abstract: In an automatic lock slider for a slide fastener having element rows on its back side, a resilient member having a locking pawl engageable and disengageable with the element rows from the back side is actuated by one end of a pivotal bat pivotable about a pivot, the resilient member being in the form of a small-width metallic leaf spring having a predetermined length and bent in a desired shape. The resilient member keeps adequate resilience for a long period and secures more reliable resilient deformation and restoration compared to a mere leaf spring, so that the locking pawl can come into and out of engagement with the element rows smoothly and reliably, depending on whether or not a pull tab is pulled.
