    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a device that suspends decorative designs, logos or jewelry from zipper apertures. The device consists of a band that has ridges along its surface and a slide that is adjustable along the band. The slide has attachment means for selectively engaging the ridges of the band, thus locking the slide into place. The band is placed through a zipper aperture, until a stop at the end of the band comes to rest against the aperture. The resulting portion of the band being suspended from the zipper aperture may be passed through the slide, and the slide may then be arbitrarily locked into position by the attachment means. The slide contains a decorative design that can be either two or three dimensional. The suspended slide can be easily unlocked from the band and readjusted or removed without harming the band or the slide. Once removed, the decorative design-containing slide can be replaced with any other slide with other designs.

    Abstract: An attachment for the pull tab of a slide fastener for enhancing manipulation of the slider and for serving as an ornamental and identifying element generally comprises a clip of very hard and stiff, yet resilient, material, such as spring steel, molded into a body of soft, tactile, elastomeric material. A channel leading to the clip in the body receives the pull tab. The elastic side walls of the channel expand to accommodate pull tabs of varying sizes and stabilize the attachment on the tab. The clip has a locking tongue which projects into the channel in a direction away from the channel entrance and terminates in an engaging end for engaging and locking the tab in the channel. The engaging end is curved such that considerable pressure is exerted by its point onto the tab surface. Body material directly overlies the tongue such that deflection of the tongue also compresses and deflects the body material.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a slide fastener, which is particularly well suited for ornamental purposes. The slide fastener comprises teeth, which are arranged in two juxtaposed rows so that each teeth is adapted to interlock with adjacent teeth of the opposite row. The slide fastener is adapted to be opened and closed by a slider. The slide fastener should have a high flexibility in conjunction with a higher stability and should be adapted to carry ornamental stones or to be used as an ornamental fastener in itself. Besides, the slide fasteners, with the exception of the slider, should be adapted to be made as an endless strip on a machine. And the slide fastener should be adapted to be used as an ornamental braid without a textile carrying strap. Such ornamental braid should have a slider for opening and closing the braid and for adjusting its length.
