  • Patent number: 8120171
Abstract: A power drive unit is configured to comprise a heat sink, a power module pressed by a press member to the heat sink to be fastened thereto and a spring member that has a substantially circular shape and is installed between the power module and the press member. With this, the power module can be fastened to the heat sink without incurring layout limitation, degradation of heat release performance and the like. Also, since the power drive unit further includes a projection that protrudes from the press member to be engaged with an engagement hole bored at the center of the spring member, engagement of the projection of the press member with the engagement hole of the spring member functions to prevent displacement of the press member relative to the spring member, thereby making loads acting on the power modules uniform.

Abstract: The clip of this invention is at least comprised of a flange part and a leg part molded integrally with the flange part hanging down therefrom. The leg part of the clip is inserted in an open hole of a mounting plate so as to clamp and lock the mounting plate together with the flange part of the clip. The leg part is comprised of a pair of elastic locking pieces hanging down from the flange part, a connecting part connecting the other end of the elastic locking pieces and a pair of cantilever locking pieces extending from the connecting part in the direction of the flange part. In the elastic locking pieces, there is molded a locking part which can lock in the lower part of the mounting plate passing through the open hole so as to clamp the lower part which is one side of the mounting plate. The locking part molded in the elastic locking pieces has an elasticity that can make it bypass welding spatters attached around the open hole of the mounting plate and can prevent wobbling with respect to the open hole.

Each blade segment overlaps with adjacent segments thereby providing for an overlapping joint between segments. The overlapping joint reduces erosion and/or washout of the underlying moldboard. Further, in one embodiment, the overlapping joint may include a connector hole such as a bolt hole through which a bolt detachably connects the overlapped sections of adjacent blade segments with the moldboard. Such a connection increases the strength of the connection as well as the strength of the moldboard in the region of the connection. This allows for smaller blade segments to be used and allows for segments which are of a suitable size to be manhandled by a single operator without jeopardizing the strength of the moldboard and/or the longevity of the moldboard.

The wire clip includes a pivot axle pivotably attached to the mounting frame and two resilient arms at opposite sides of the mounting frame. The resilient arms abut against the heat sink and engage with the engaging wings, thereby exerting a resilient force on the heat sink toward the heat generating electronic component.
