Abstract: A locking mechanism for joining an elongate member to an assembly may include a frame, clamp, actuator and link between the clamp and actuator. Stop surfaces on the clamp and actuator cooperate to secure the elongate member. A pin and the force transmitted by a compression spring may further be provided for additional security. The link between the clamp and actuator retracts the clamp permitting the elongate member to be detached from the assembly. A linear actuator may be operatively disposed between the frame and the actuator for opening and closing the clamp about the elongate member.
Abstract: A clamp for hanging things, the clamp having a pair of jaws and a lever. Manipulation of the lever causes the jaws to either open or close, depending on the direction of manipulation. The lever is connected to one of the jaws and to a plate attachment. The attachment of the lever to the jaw rotates around the point of the lever's attachment to the plate attachment, the structure of the plate attachment defining the boundaries of the rotation. One jaw is connected to the other jaw at a point of pivoting.
Abstract: A fixing clamp has two pivoting jaws which are mobile relative to each other against the action of a return spring between an open position and a closed position. An operating lever accessible to a user is attached to one of the jaws. The two jaws are connected to each other by a spacer to which each jaw is articulated about a respective separate rotation axis. Applications include fixing clamps for inspection lamps.
Abstract: A fastener means for fastening a first piece of cloth to a fixed support or to a second piece of cloth. The fastener means comprises a first fastener member attached to the first piece of cloth (1) and comprising an outer and inner part (3, 5) which are arranged to clamp the first piece of cloth therebetween to be attached to the fixed support or to the second piece of cloth and to coact with the first fastener member. Each of the fastener members is provided with an opening (11, 12) and/or an outwardly projecting portion (13, 14), such as to enable the fastener members to be locked together with a snap-in action between the outwardly projecting portion and opening or openings respectively.
