  • Patent number: 11603871
Abstract: An assembled-type fastener unit includes a base, a handling member movably fitted in the base, and a locking device movably received in the handling member. The handling member can be operated for the locking device to extend out of the base to form a locked state or for the locking device to retract into the base to form an unlocked state. To use the fastener unit, the base is firstly connected to an object. Then, the handling member is operated for the locking device to extend out of the base and lock to a target object to form the locked state; or the handling member can be operated for the locking device to retract into the base to separate from a target object and form the unlocked state. Thus, at least two objects can be repeatedly and quickly connected to or disconnected from one another using the fastener unit.

  • Patent number: 10499698
Abstract: An ultra-slim fastener for a bra includes male and female parts mounted on fabric pieces. The male part has a planar body having a downwardly depending leg terminating in an outwardly projecting foot extending parallel to the body. The female part has a substantially planar frame defining a cavity for reception of the foot. The cavity is roofed in towards the innermost end of the frame only, thereby defining an open mouth towards the outermost frame end. In embodiments, a fabric strip forms a backing for the frame and the bottom of the cavity is closed off. The second piece further includes an overlay mounted partially above the frame and on the fabric strip, sandwiching the frame between the overlay and the fabric strip. Embodiments are provided for use with reversible garments. Such a fastener will be very thin yet very strong.

  • Patent number: 6463637
Abstract: A protective device for attachment to a waist belt of a law enforcement officer to prevent inadvertent opening of the belt buckle, the device includes a sleeve adapted to slide along the belt to a position snugly covering the closed buckle and slidably movable away from that position to permit release of the buckle. The sleeve preferably has funnel ends and is formed of a rigid material. A slot in the inner wall of the sleeve permits temporary expansion of the sleeve to accommodate for the increased thickness of the loop of the belt about buckle end connections for the loop followed by a contraction of the sleeve to snugly encase the buckle. A stiff sleeve with releasable fasteners at its ends and with release fasteners between the buckle and sleeve are alternate embodiments.
