Abstract: Representative implementations of devices and techniques provide a spline attachment assembly to mount and to support an implement (such as a handgun, for example) or an implement holster (such as a handgun holster, for example), or the like, in a variety of configurations. The spline attachment assembly includes a base having a receiver and a post having a shaft, the shaft arranged to be inserted into the receiver to removably couple the post to the base.

Abstract: Die sets and methods are provided to move a separable clasp connector back-and-forth among a locked position and an unlocked position. The method can include the steps of obtaining a first part and a second part each having a connector body and a connector barrel; interconnecting the connector bodies of the first and second parts without locking the first and second parts to one another; and pivoting the first and second parts with respect to one another in a first direction until the first and second parts are mechanically and electrically connected to one another.

Abstract: A separable clasp connector is provided that has first and second parts that are pivotable with respect to one another by a die set. The clasp connector includes one or more die alignment features to ensure proper alignment with the die set so as to apply an unlocking force in a predetermined direction. Die sets and methods also provided to move a separable clasp connector back-and-forth among a locked position and an unlocked position.

Abstract: An electrical connector is provided that includes a housing defining a cavity and an aperture extending into the cavity. The electrical connector further includes an electrical contact supported by the housing, in which the electrical contact is electrically connected with a conductor. The electrical connector further includes a conduit fitting assembly connecting a conduit to the housing. The conduit feeds the conductor into the cavity of the housing through the aperture via the conduit fitting assembly.

Abstract: A grip for cylindrical or elongated elements, such as an umbilical cable. The system includes a mesh fabric that is created by interwoven lines that are initially laid out in a flat rectangular or trapezoidal shape. The mesh fabric is wrapped around the object to be gripped. A lifting eye is integrated into one end of the mesh. The grip is closed by a series of interlocking loops that create a sort of daisy-chain closure.

Abstract: A rigid U-shaped structure sized to be closely received on the tip end of the transfer hook. One side of the U-shape of the structure is closed. A padeye is rigidly attached to the end curved portion of the U-shape of the structure. Means for holding the U-shaped structure in position on the tip end of the hook is provided. The holding means may be threaded bores through one or both sides of the U-shaped structure that allow bolts to be threaded through the holes such that they create sufficient friction against the tip end of the transfer hook to hold the U-shaped structure in position. The holes through the U-shaped structure may be unthreaded with threaded nuts rigidly attached to the U-shaped structure such that the nuts are aligned with the holes to allow bolts to exert pressure against the tip end of the transfer hook in the same manner to hold the U-shaped structure in position on the transfer hook.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for selectively adjusting the hanging length of a piece of chain jewelry. A clasp casing is provided that receives the clasp ends of a piece of chain jewelry. Within the clasp casing is a matrix of posts. The clasp ends of the jewelry chain are fed into the casing and attached to separate posts. If attached to posts near the ends of the casing, the hanging length of the jewelry chain can be increased because the casing adds length to the jewelry chain. By wrapping the jewelry chain around the posts inside the casing, the hanging length of the jewelry chain can be dramatically shortened.
