Abstract: A belt system including a belt having a free end, an opposed clamp end, and a plurality of teeth positioned along the free end of the belt. The buckle includes a latch that is actuatable between an engaged position and a retracted position. Wherein when the latch is in the engaged position, the latch is biased against the teeth to mechanically engage the teeth and secure the belt free end with the buckle. When the latch is in the retracted position, the latch is retracted from the teeth to permit removal of the belt free end from the buckle. The buckle also includes a clamp member to secure the belt clamp end to the buckle. The clamp member is positioned on the buckle such that the free end of the belt is substantially concealed by the clamp member and the clamp end of the belt when the free end is inserted through the buckle.

Abstract: An attachment device for use with a wearable item includes a first cord end and a second cord end. The first cord end has restricting grooves and the second cord end has a buckle unit. The restricting grooves include a first groove and a second groove, and the buckle unit includes a first buckle and a second buckle. The first groove restricts the first buckle to an X-axis movement, and the second groove restricts the second buckle to movements along Y and Z axes when the first cord end is connected with the second cord end. The X, Y, and Z axes are each perpendicular to the other two. A wearable device using such an attachment device is also provided.

Abstract: A buckle for releasable load coupling of two elements, the buckle includes a first and a second buckle component. Each of the buckle components may have a connection area via which one of the elements is connectable to the buckle component, and a coupling area wherein the buckle components can be coupled to one another in a form-fit manner. The buckle components may be releasably locked to one another at the coupled position by a locking element. Each of the coupling areas of the buckle components may be defined by a hook profile extending in the width direction. The hook profiles of the buckle components may be configured as complementary elements and interengage at the coupled position of the buckle components. One embodiment includes using the buckle to couple two elements on an object that can be worn on the human body, and in some cases, a ballistic vest.

Abstract: A buckle for binding two items together that includes a male plate and a female plate. The male plate further includes a locking member that is movable between a locking position and an unlocking position, wherein the locking member in the locking position interacts with the locking mechanism to lock the male plate to the female plate along a longitudinal axis that is perpendicular to the binding axis. The female plate includes a locking mechanism that includes two arms extending from opposing ends of the female plate respectively and is adapted to slidably receive the male plate therewithin to secure the male plate face-to-face to the female plate along a binding axis.

Abstract: Systems and methods are presented for delivering medical fluids to a patient. A data storage device (120) is either separately attached to or incorporated within the structure of a reusable fixture that may be detachably connected to a barrel (111) of a syringe (107). A filling station (110) and an power injector (108) may each include a read-write device (114, 122) that is operable to read the data storage device (120) within its field of view. When the read-write devices (114, 122) are attached to the filing station (110) and the power injector (40), respectively, and when the fixture including the data storage device (120) is attached to the syringe (107), the read-write devices (114, 122) may be operable to store data on and read data from the data storage device (120) associated with the syringe (107). After an injection procedure, the fixture may be detached from the syringe (107) and reused with a new or resterilized syringe (107).

Abstract: A buckle has two identical components relatively shiftable along a central axis into and out of an assembled state, with an interlocking mechanism for releasably coupling the components in their assembled state. The interlocking mechanism includes a wing on each of the components. The wings have opposed mutually spaced resilient panels defining passages therebetween leading to aligned locking surfaces. Each component also has a prong with oppositely protruding posts and first and second cam surfaces. The first cam surfaces are configured and arranged to urge the panels apart and thereby accommodate insertion of the prongs into the passages to locked positions at which the posts are in snap engagement with the locking surfaces. The second cam surfaces are configured and arranged to act in response to flexure of the prongs towards the central axis to urge the panels apart and to thereby accommodate withdrawal of the prong from the passages.

The securing device typically includes a securing clasp having a first portion and a second portion, each portion including a male connector having fixed ratchet teeth and a female connector having movable ratchet teeth. When the securing clasp is locked together by connecting the male connector of the first portion with the female connector of the second portion, and vice versa, it provides for the securement of an adjoining wristband. The securing device can be unlocked by anyone using a two-hand grip but not by a wearer of the device on their wrist, because the wearer only has the use of one hand to unlock the securing device.
