Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a magnetic assembly structure which utilizes a magnetic attraction or repulsion effect generated by two magnetic components to make two buckle structures automatically engaged to each other. The magnetic assembly structure of the present disclosure has a first main body and a second main body, and via the hardware design of disposing magnetic components and buckle structures respectively on the first main body and the second main body, the first and second main bodies rotate in respect to each other due to the magnetic attraction or repulsion effect, so as to efficiently engage the two buckle structures each other. Thus, it actually eases the installation and uninstallation of the appliance to which the magnetic assembly structure is applied, and the costs of installation and consuming time are reduced.
Abstract: A male-female mutually-pluggable connector includes first and second plastic cores and first and second metal spring plates. The first and second metal spring plates are each formed, on one end portion thereof, with plugging spring plates, and are also formed, on an opposite end thereof, with a wire insertion spring plate having a curved part. At least one of first and second metal spring plates is formed, in the one end portion thereof, with a slot and the slot has an opening having opposite sides that are raised and protruding to each other to form the plugging spring plates. The first and second metal spring plates are fixed in the first and second plastic cores, respectively. The plugging spring plates of the first and second metal spring plates are inter-plugged with each other to form a crossing form.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a modular crimp contact system and method. The modular crimp contact system comprises a crimping member secured to a conductor by having one end of the crimping member crimped about the exterior of the conductor. A locking ring disposed about the body of the crimping member locks the crimping member in a receiving end of a connection member. The connection member may have a pin or a socket on a connection end opposite the receiving end the connection member.

Abstract: A collar strap attachment mechanism. One embodiment of collar strap attachment mechanism utilizes a rotatable clasping system with a locking mechanism. The collar strap attachment mechanism is compatible with collars of various widths and thickness. This collar strap attachment mechanism does not require the strap to be looped through any openings so removing the clasp of the strap is unnecessary. The collar strap attachment mechanism includes a rotatable clasp with a plurality of fingers configured to close around the collar strap. The user places the collar strap attachment mechanism on the strap and rotates the two parts until the strap is captured. Once closed around the collar strap, a lock prevents the collar strap attachment mechanism from rotating back to the open position unless unlocked.

Abstract: Fasteners, cover systems, and related methods are provided. A fastener for fastening an item in place on an object can include a bottom member having a first cross-sectional shape and a top member having a second cross-sectional shape that is securable to the bottom member. The top member can be rotatable relative to the bottom member once the top member is secured to the bottom member. The fastener can also include a securement device for fastening the bottom member to an object. The fasteners can be part of a cover system that also includes a cover. The cover system can be used in conjunction with a window, such as a boat hatch.
Abstract: A decorative charm and fastener system and its method for use upon an item to be worn by the user or a pet animal; the item to be worn may be a shoe, an item of clothing (including shirts, hats and caps, or the like), or a pet collar. The fundamental embodiment features a charm part and a base part that may be connected together on opposite sides of the item to be worn, with the item situated between the base part and the charm part. The system also includes an elastically compressible washer member that is placed upon the charm part. The compressible washer promotes a secure, yet temporary, connection between the charm part and base part when those respective parts are installed upon an item. Assortments of different charms thus are interchangeable for temporary attachment to the base part. Specialized alternative versions of the apparatus are disclosed for use upon the shoelaces of a shoe, as a pet collar.
Abstract: A releasable clasp or coupling includes a female member and a male member each having a cylindrical body, a flat front end disposed at an angle diagonal to the longitudinal axis of its body, and a rear end adapted to be connected to the end of a flexible member such a necklace, or the like. The female member has an aperture through its diagonal front end and the male member has a tongue element that extends outwardly from its diagonal front end. The aperture and the tongue element are aligned and slidably engaged to place the diagonal front ends face-to-face, and upon relative pivotal movement of the bodies, the longitudinal axis of the male and female members become axially aligned and the aperture and tongue element become oriented out of alignment to prevent accidental removal. The tongue may also frictionally engage the female member.
Abstract: An adjustable fastener includes a male part and a female part, both of which are preferably made of soft pliable, sewable plastic. The female fastener part preferably has two or more spaced apart openings. Each having a broad portion and a narrow portion. The male fastener part has a base with an upstanding riser with a flange at the end of the riser. The female fastener part is made of a single thin wall which is sewn to the fabric of the garment. The base of the male part is also made of a single thin wall which is sewn to the fabric of the garment. The single wall construction of the female fastener part makes it more flexible, less easily seen, and not felt so much by the wearer. The female fastener part is provided with a bend between the openings so that it lies flat against the back when the male and female parts are coupled to the tightest position. The center of the riser of the male part is offset from the center of the flange.
Abstract: A fastener for releasably securing a first substrate to an apertured second substrate includes a base member and a locking member mounted for rotation relative to the base member. The locking member is rotatable between an insertion position for insertion of the base member and locking member through the aperture formed in the second substrate and a locking position for releasably securing the first and second substrates together. A resilient member is provided to bias the locking member toward the base member when the resilient member is compressed. The locking member includes at least one protrusion and the base member includes at least one detent. The detent and protrusion are configured to releasably engage each other in the insertion position of the locking member and disengage from each other upon rotation of the locking member toward the locking position.
Abstract: A connection system for securing two articles to each other having two connectors, each of connectors includes a base plate with a center point and identical inter-engaging sections with at least one male component and at least one female component. Also provided is a connection region for securing the connector to an article. Male and female components are radially disposed equidistant around the center point of the base plate and the connection region is disposed circumferentially around the male and female components. The connectors are engaged by rotating each connector such that the male and female components of each connector interlock with each other.
Abstract: The present invention provides a connector for releasable joining of two ends of material. The invention involves two generally symmetrical connector halves which engage with one another to maintain a connection capable of resisting opposing tension forces. A spring-force ball and socket arrangement is incorporated in each body half to maintain a secure connection. Rotatable interlocking tongue-and-groove structures provide ease of use and effective resistance to tension forces.
Abstract: A vehicle floor mat affixation device includes a noncircular shaped body with an axial extending connector. The connector secures the affixation device to the vehicle floor. A reverse face of the affixation device includes a panel of releasable fastening material that is designed to mate with a similar panel of releasable fastening material in the vehicle floor mat. The present invention resists affixation device pull-out as well as shear forces applied to the mat with respect to the carpeting on which the mat is placed, but nonetheless permits easy removal and replacement of the vehicle floor mat and of the affixation devices without tools.
Abstract: A substantially noiseless fastening system for a carrying pack includes a flap attached to the shell of the carrying pack along one edge of the flap, a fastener button attached to the flap near a second edge of the flap, and a button receiver attached to the shell. The button receiver has a tapered interference fit slot terminating in a notch for receiving the fastener button, the slot narrowing towards the edge of the flap attached to the shell. The fastening system also includes a pouch attached to the shell, a locking channel attached to the pouch, and a locking groove attached to the shell. The pouch has an edge that forms an opening between the pouch and the shell, and the locking channel engages the locking groove in an interference fit to close the opening.

Abstract: A fastener is provided for removably engaging and holding sections of material, such as a tarp, without piercing the material. One piece of the fastener is a base with one end providing a contact surface for a support structure, and the other forming a substantially elliptical flange. The second piece is a frame having an opening that substantially defines a first ellipse having a first orientation, and a second ellipse having a second orientation. The second elliptical opening is partially occluded at its opposite ends. A section of material to be engaged and held is placed over the elliptical flange. The second piece is oriented to align the first elliptical opening and the elliptical flange, and is inserted over the elliptical flange and section of material to be held. The second piece is then rotated to align the second elliptical opening and elliptical flange.

Abstract: A clasp for holding two ends of cords or the like together includes a shaft member insertable into and engageable with a latch member. The latch member is a round tube having an open front end through which the shaft member may be inserted and withdrawn. Attached to the latch member is a spring member with a hook (tab) extending from a free end thereof through a hole in the side of the latch member. The shaft has a notch. The clasp is engaged by aligning the tab of the latch member with the notch of the shaft member and pushing the shaft member into the open end of the latch member until the tab engages the notch. The clasp is disengaged by rotating the shaft member relative to the latch member so that the tab is urged out of the notch, then pulling the shaft member out of the latch member.

Abstract: A twist lock for connecting containers comprises a housing integrally formed with an upper fitting part and a lower fitting part each being capable of fitting into a fitting hole in a corner fitting of a container, a spindle inserted in the housing in a rotatable and vertically displaceable manner, an upper lock connected to the top end of the spindle and being engageable with the fitting hole in the corner fitting of the container, and a lower lock being in positional agreement with and fixed securly to the lower fitting part of the housing and slidably fitted with a plurality of locking members which can engage with and disengage from the fitting hole in the corner fitting of the container. In this twist lock, the spindle is urged by a spring member in such a direction that the upper lock can engage with the fitting hole in the corner fitting of the container, while each of the locking members is urged by another spring member in such a direction that it can retract into the lower lock.
