Abstract: A gear sling device comprises a body in the form of a hook with an opening and a gate fixed to the body. The gate is fitted movable with respect to the body between a first position closing the opening and a second position leaving the opening open. The body and gate define a ring. A loop is designed to fix the body to a belt of a harness or to a strap. The loop is partly bounded by the body. The gear sling device comprises a wire-like element fitted sliding inside a through hole passing through the body. The wire-like element extends from the through hole to a pressing area where a first end of the wire-like element pulls on the body. A clamp is configured to block the wire-like element and to define the size of the loop.

Abstract: A device which can slide up and down on a chain or cable, can be loosened to attach to the chain or cable, but does not have any parts that come free when the part is loosened. The device includes first and second pieces, each made of structural material, the first and second pieces fitting together at concave and convex surfaces, to form an interlock forms inner surfaces with a through hole of a first shape that can slide along either a cable or a chain.

Abstract: A closure made up of two closure parts for the detachable connection of a brassiere or similar article of clothing, namely, a closure which can be easily produced and which ensures improved handling during the hooking and unhooking of the hook-and-eye connection, especially also in the case of closure parts which are quite thin. To improve the ability to grip the article of clothing, the base tape of the closure part provided with hooks or eyes has an embossing introduced into the surface on one side.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a safety interface device that securely attaches to a length of webbing, while simultaneously providing a plurality of non-intersecting apertures to couple to a corresponding plurality of safety devices. In some embodiments, the safety interface device may be retrofitted to a closed webbing on a pre-fabricated safety harness. In some exemplary embodiments, the element may be opened and closed by providing two pivotably coupled plates, permitting the webbing to be installed when the plates are opened, and secured when the plates are closed. Various embodiments, for example, provide a securing pin which automatically locks the device to the webbing when the device is closed around the webbing. In some embodiments, the device will be again locked in a secondary fashion whenever a safety device is attached to the interface plate. Thus, at least two distinct actions may be required to open the device.

Abstract: A holding device has an elastic locking piece having an extending part extending to the outside from a locking claw part. The contact part of an unlocking operating piece contacts the outside of the extending part to reduce the unlocking force of the unlocking operating piece. A sawtooth-form part is in a locked state when a locking piece of an elastic locking piece enters the sawtooth-form part. The elastic locking piece has the extending part extending outside from the locking claw part. The unlocking operating piece has a contact part for contacting with the extending part. The contact part contacts the outside of the extending part when the unlocking operating piece is pressed, the locking claw part of the elastic locking piece is ejected from the indented part of the sawtooth-form part by the contact, and the locked state between the sawtooth-form part and the locking claw part is unlocked.

Abstract: A hook includes two parts. A first hook element is fixed on a first cover. The first hook element includes two supporting panels extending from a surface of the first cover and spaced from each other, a first flat panel connecting tops of the two supporting panels, and a receiving space formed by the first cover, the two supporting panels, and the first flat panel. A second hook element is fixed on a second cover. The second hook element includes a supporting member extending from a surface of the second cover, a second flat panel extended from a distal end of the supporting member and parallel to the surface of the second cover, and a groove formed between the supporting member and the second flat panel. The first flat panel is slid into and engaged with the groove, and clamped between the second flat panel and the supporting member.

Abstract: A length adjusting mechanism for an elongate strap having a first connecting assembly and a second connecting assembly that is selectively releasably engageable with the first connecting assembly and connectable to an elongate strap. The first connecting assembly has a first frame defining a mounting base and a keeper that is mounted to the first frame for movement between a securing position and a release position. The second connecting assembly has a second frame that has a strap receiving assembly relative to which a portion of an elongate strap operatively connected to the second connecting assembly can be moved to thereby selectively change an effective length of an elongate strap with the first and second connecting assemblies engaged. The keeper in the securing position releasably maintains the first and second connecting assemblies together.

Abstract: A snap ring for fishing implements is provided. The snap ring includes a hook-like body having an opening on a portion thereof, a rotary shaft coupled on one side to a portion of the body such that the rotary shaft is rotatable around the opening, a hollow guide into which the rotary shaft is fitted and slides along, and a guide spring provided between the rotary shaft and the guide to elastically support the guide against the rotary shaft.

Abstract: A fastening device includes a lower engaging hook adapted to be provided on a first article and including a push portion, and at least one first hook portion spaced apart from and disposed below the push portion. Fixing plates are adapted to be provided on a second article disposed above the first article. At least one upper engaging hook is connected pivotally to and disposed between the fixing plates, and includes first and second arms formed as an inverted L-shaped configuration. The first arm extends downwardly from the second arm, and has a second hook portion to engage detachably the first hook portion. The second arm is engageable with the push portion. The upper engaging hook is pivotal to move the second hook portion to engage and move away from the first hook portion when the push portion engages and disengages from the second arm, respectively.

Abstract: A coupling structure for coupling first and second halves includes two hooks and a two-way securing hook. The first hook includes a first resilient section extending from the first half towards the second half and a first clamping section extending laterally from the first resilient section along a first direction. The second hook includes a second resilient section extending from the first half towards the second half and a second clamping section extending laterally from the second resilient section along a second direction opposite to the first direction. The first and second hooks and the first half cooperatively define a clamping space thereamong. The securing hook includes a securing section projecting from the second half towards the first half, a first interfering section extending laterally from the securing section along the second direction and a second interfering section extending laterally from the securing section along the first direction.

Abstract: Various embodiments for carabiners include two gates. The carabiners include a C-shaped body having a nose region and an end region. An inner gate is configured to pivot about the end region from a closed position in contact with the nose region, and an open position, wherein the inner gate pivots toward the spine of the C-shaped body. An outer gate is configured to pivot about the end region from a closed position in contact with the nose region, and an open position, extending away from the C-shaped body. The inner and the outer gate may each comprise wire gates, alternatively one gate may comprise a generally cylindrical gate and the other gate may comprise a wire gate. Methods include preventing a carabiner from opening.

Abstract: A component, a component and panel assembly, and a method are provided is adapted for hands-free assembly. A component is provided that is adapted for hands-free assembly to a panel at a desired location. The component includes, but is not limited to a body and at least one retainer member extending outwardly from the body a predetermined distance and adapted to be received in an aperture in the panel. The retainer member is adapted to temporarily hold the component on the panel before final assembly and has the form of a hook.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a hook, characterized in comprising: a S-shaped body (2) having hook-bills (20, 22) respectively at two ends; and, two self-locking members (3, 4) for locking said two hook-bills (20, 22), one end of each self-locking member (3, 4) is positioned on the said S-shaped body (2), and the other end of each self-locking member (3, 4) is locked on the corresponding hook-bill (20, 22) so that the two hook-bills (20, 22) are locked by said self-locking members (3, 4). The present invention brings forward a hook which can be conveniently hung to different objects such as a belt, the band of a schoolbag or other bands, or a metal pole, and can also keep desired rigidity and elasticity at the same time.

Abstract: A three component strap fastener having a body member with a fork inserted into a fork end opening and a catch inserted into an opposite catch end opening in the body member is improved by reconfiguring the catch end opening so as to prevent undesirable twisting of the catch relative to the fork within the body member. Additional constrainment of the catch to prevent it from being forced out of coplanar relationship relative to the fork is achieved by narrowing the outboard extremities of the open mouth formed at the catch end opening of the body member. This added constrainment is achieved by building up the interior wall structure of the body member at the transverse outboard extremities of the catch end opening with four interior, wedge-shaped corner restraints.
