Abstract: A dust-proof safety hook contains: a body, a connection shaft, a returning element, a housing sleeve, a resilient element, a rotary sheath, and a positioning bolt. The body includes an accommodation space, an opening, a first segment, and a second segment. The connection shaft includes a first part and a second part, and the returning element is mounted between the body and the connection shaft. The housing sleeve includes a slot which has a limiting portion and two notches. The resilient element is fitted with the connection shaft, and the rotary sheath includes a through orifice and a cut. The positioning bolt is inserted into the through orifice of the rotary sheath and the limiting portion of the slot of the housing sleeve, such that the rotary sheath moves along the slot of the housing sleeve by way of the positioning bolt.
Abstract: A cable retaining ring includes a base having at least one mounting opening or at least one mounting projection for connecting the cable retaining ring to a cable support tray, an elongate interior defining a cable retention region, a gap through the ring for allowing a cable to be placed into or removed from the interior, and a slide mounted on the ring and shiftable between a first position substantially blocking the gap to prevent the cable from being placed into or removed from the interior and a second position unblocking the gap.
Abstract: A snap hook includes a hook member having a gap formed by an attaching end and a receiving end, a pivotal gate pivotally secured to the hook member and having a channel for receiving the receiving end of the hook member, a locking member is rotatably engaged onto the pivotal gate and includes a passage for aligning with the channel of the pivotal gate and the receiving end of the hook member and for allowing the pivotal gate and the locking member to be rotated relative to the hook member from the locking position to the unlocking position, and a spring member biases and rotates the locking member relative to the pivotal gate to stably retain the receiving end of the hook member in the channel of the pivotal gate.
Abstract: A snap ring for coupling a purse line to a purse seine includes a frame, a plurality of rollers, a frame opening, and a locking unit. The frame is connected to the purse seine. The purse line passes through a second end of the frame. The rollers are rotatably provided in the frame at positions at which the purse line is brought into contact with the frame. The frame opening is formed in one side part of opposite side parts of the frame to open the frame. The locking unit is coupled to the frame to openably close the frame opening. The locking unit includes a first cylinder which is hinged at a first end thereof to the part of the frame which corresponds to a first end of the frame opening.
Abstract: The present invention includes a method and related apparatus for tightening or loosening a belt. Some illustrative embodiments include a method and apparatus for tightening or loosening a belt used in, e.g., power-lifting, to provide adequate leverage in tightening or loosening the belt to prevent injury comprising using the apparatus (constructed with a rigid material) to attach to the belt and allowing for appropriate tension to be applied to fasten and unfasten the belt at the desired tightness.
