Abstract: One embodiment of a thin, flat, and angular triangular device for an improved necktie having on one edge a lead-in notch (10) which merges into a button passage (12) before merging into a cove (22). Two bridges (14), made of a flexible material so that they can be repeatedly bent without fracturing, are on ledges on top of the opposite edge from the lead-in notch (10). An untied, shortened necktie (30) is threaded through a false knot (24) and then threaded through the tie slot (26) at the top of the device. This allows the necktie to be joined to the Tiekeeper (28) device. This necktie device slides over the top shirt button by way of the lead-in notch and button passage before resting in the cove on top of the threads of the shirt's top button. Other embodiments are described and shown.
Abstract: A lapel pin is provided including a display portion and a post portion moveably connected to said display portion. Preferably, the post portion is hingedly moveably disposed relative to the display portion and the display portion preferably includes a recessed portion for receiving the post portion when the lapel pin is not in use.
Abstract: A ball tossing device for batting practice comprises a self-contained, pneumatically controlled and actuated mechanism. The device includes a launcher comprising a pneumatic cylinder and ball carrier and a trough type feeder for sequentially supplying balls to the carrier for tossing. The pneumatic cylinder is actuated by compressed air from a regulated source of compressed air, with timer means which controls actuation of a valve to transmit the compressed air to the cylinder. The cylinder is a single action type with a return spring. The launcher may be angularly variable for non-vertical tosses.

Abstract: A tie retaining device that is attached to the left and right side rear fold members of a tie. The device has an elongated wire-like member having pointed tips on each of its ends for penetrating the rear fold members of the tie. A tethering chain has its one end attached to the wire-like member and its other end attached to a button-hole anchor bar that is detachably inserted into the button hole of a shirt. The wire-like member may take various configurations.
Abstract: A collar fastener for bringing the two tapered sides of a shirt collar together wherein the fastener hooks into the under-surface or back surface of the collar on each side. The fastener fits unobtrusively under the necktie so as to make it substantially invisible to others. A spring disposed between the arms of the fastener serves to apply spring pressure.
