Abstract: A side release buckle includes a plug and a socket into which the plug is inserted for engagement. The plug includes: a base provided with a belt attachment; a pair of legs projecting from the base; an engaging portion formed to the legs; and a connecting portion connecting the legs to each other. The socket includes: a body provided with a belt attachment and an insertion opening; a housing space formed in the body and housing the legs inserted from the insertion opening; an engaged portion formed in the body and engageable with the engaging portion; and a cutout dented toward the insertion opening from an edge of the belt attachment. The cutout is formed over an area surrounded by the legs and the connecting portion when the legs and the connecting portion are housed in the housing space while the engaging portion and the engaged portion are engaged.

Abstract: A quick release buckle includes male and female members which are fastened together via a hinge connection. The male member includes a laterally extending pin which fits within a recess in the top front portion of the female member. The recess includes and undercut portion for receiving and retaining the male member pin. Both members include laterally extending top bars on the upper surfaces thereof. Pinching the top bars together releases the male member pin from the female member recess to unfasten the buckle.

Abstract: The invention relates to the technical field of insert buckles, in particular to an insert buckle head and an insert buckle, wherein one end of the insert buckle head is an inserting end; left and right sides of the inserting end are slidably provided with a detachable buckle pin respectively; and the insert buckle comprises an insert buckle body and the insert buckle head which are inserted, buckled and matched with each other. The insert buckle head and the insert buckle have the advantages that: as the insert buckle head in the insert buckle adopts the detachable buckle pins, the buckle pins are difficult to break off or damage; the insert buckle head can be maintained; and the buckle pins can be replaced.
Abstract: A coupling device includes a plug member having a rectangular rail support part and a rectangular rail connected to an outer end of the rectangular rail support part; and a socket member having a rectangular rail groove into which the rectangular rail is fitted and a slot which is defined through a side wall of the socket member defining the rail groove to extend in a lengthwise direction of the rail groove so as to allow the rail support part to pass therethrough. Of both lengthwise ends of the socket member, one end is open to define an entrance through which the rectangular rail is fitted into the rail groove, and the other end is closed.
Abstract: The invention describes a clasp for jewelry, especially for necklaces and bracelets, comprising a push-in fastener element, a receptacle element for receiving the push-in fastener element, a latching mechanism by means of which the push-in fastener element can be latched in the receptacle element, the latching mechanism comprising a spreadable latching means which when spread comes into a form-locking engagement with the receptacle element, and a handling means that can be gripped from outside of the receptacle element, for operation of the latching mechanism. It is provided according to the invention that the handling means is attached to a slide which is provided in the receptacle element and which in a first position, hereafter described as the latched position, is in engagement with the latching means and holds the latter in spread condition while in a second position, hereafter described as the unlatched position, it does not hold the latching means in spread condition.
Abstract: The plastic snap buckle is provided with a safety latch slidably mounted to an elongated bar of the male plug of the buckle. The latch member is generally rectangular shape having a length equal to the distance between two arcuate portions formed in the free end portion of two flexible arms of the male plug. The latch member may be slidably to locate between the arcuate portion of the flexible arm so as to prevent the flexible arms to be operated inadvertently or forcefully to release the engagement between the male plug and the female receptacle.
Abstract: A buckle assembly composed of three components, i.e. a socket, a main plug and an auxiliary plug for releasably connecting three straps or belts. The socket includes a cantilevered resilient locking arm interlockingly engageable with a resilient locking tongue of the main plug when the locking tongue is received in a guide chamber in the socket to thereby couple the socket and the main plug. The auxiliary plug is slidably mounted on the main plug and having two resilient, inwardly deformable locking legs snappingly engageable with respective retaining projections of the socket when the locking legs are received in the guide chamber. The auxiliary plug further includes a resilient releasing leg extending parallel to the locking legs and having a releasing cam projection engageable with the resilient locking arm to flex the latter outwardly away from the guide chamber for releasing the locking arm from interlocking engagement with the locking tongue, thereby uncoupling the main plug and the socket.
Abstract: An excavating tooth has a blade of substantially constant thickness with a transverse shoulder at its inner end and a longitudinal gusset. The tooth terminates in a reduced diameter spindle and a button with a shoulder on its forward face. The adapter has a recess to receive the tooth, the forward end of the adapter receiving the thrust of the tooth because the transverse shoulder bears thereagainst. A top to bottom opening in the adapter intersects the recess at the spindle. A pair of grooves are formed on the outside edges of the opening with projections extending inward from the outer walls of the grooves. A retainer is formed of round cross-section wire and slides in the grooves between locked and unlocked positions, the diameter of the wire being less than the width of the grooves. The retainer is symmetrical about its longitudinal center line, having a slightly upward bowed top connector and legs depending from either end of the connector.
