Abstract: A connector device includes a connector component and a housing body. The connector component has a connector head. The housing body includes a first body portion and a second body portion. The first body portion has an accommodating space for the connector head. The second body portion is coupled to the first body portion and is rotatably movable with respect to the first body portion, wherein the second body portion has a first position and a second position. When the second body portion rotates to the first position, access in and out of the accommodating space is allowed for the connector head. When the second body portion rotates to the second position, the second body portion blocks the connector head access into or out of the accommodating space.

Abstract: A base is attachable to a first object and a bar is attachable to a second object. A pivot lever having a lip is engaged with the bar. The base is configured to engage said pivot lever to define a fulcrum. A retainer engaged with said pivot lever. A keeper secures the retainer to the base so that the retainer restricts pivoting of the pivot lever about the fulcrum thereby securing the bar to the base. The keeper is operable to release the retainer to permit rotation of the pivot lever about the fulcrum to release the bar from the base, thereby releasing the objects from being connected together.

Abstract: A seat belt system capable of reliably preventing inadvertent engagement even on occurrence of erroneous insertion of a tongue plate. The seat belt system includes first and second buckle units respectively including tongue plates and buckle bodies. The buckle bodies respectively include: frames; ejectors; hook members making engagement with engagement holes formed at the tongue plates; and release buttons. A distance from an insertion front end to the engagement hole of the first tongue plate is longer than a corresponding distance at the second tongue plate. A distance from an abutment part to a pushing part of the ejector of the first buckle body is shorter than a corresponding distance of the ejector of the second buckle body. The ejector of the first buckle body includes suppression-specific projections for preventing pivotal movement of the hook member in a direction for making engagement.

Abstract: A buckle including a pair of members (4, 5) coupled to or separated from each other. The buckle includes a socket (10) and a plug (30) capable of being inserted into the socket and hooked in the socket in the state where the plug is inserted into a prespecified position. The socket is attached to a one member (5) in the pair. The plug has a pull section (33) in the direction intersectional to the plug inserting direction, and a mounting section (37) with the other member mounted thereon is provided on the pull section (33).

Abstract: A mounting anchor for a motor vehicle includes a locking bar, a first switch, a first movable plate, a second switch and a second movable plate. The first switch is positioned adjacent a first side of the locking bar and the first movable plate is positioned to slidably engage a groove on the first side of the locking bar. The first movable plate includes a first activation area for receiving a portion of the first switch and a first aperture for receiving a first rotatable arm. The second switch is positioned adjacent a second side of the locking bar, which is opposite the first side of the locking bar. The second movable plate is positioned to slidably engage a groove on the second side of the locking bar and includes a second activation area for receiving a portion of the second switch and a second aperture for receiving a second rotatable arm.

Abstract: An earring assembly including two movably connected earring segments and a clasp assembly structured to removably attach the earring assembly to a wearer's ear when in a closed, locked position. The clasp assembly includes a post secured to and extending outwardly from one earring segment and a movable locking arm secured to the other of the earring segments. The locked position of the clasp assembly is at least partially defined by the orientation of the locking arm into locking engagement with a portion of the post passing into the interior of the earring segment on which the locking arm is mounted.

Abstract: An assembly of a buckle mechanism and blade. The buckle mechanism includes a housing surrounding a guide supported by a base. The guide engages a fastening surface of the blade with the lock surface of a projection of the base and has at least one wall defining a void, which is positionable in a first position so that the projection occupies at least a portion of the void and a second position so that the projection is disengaged from the void. The base has a surface and a projection extending away from the surface. A biasing member locates the guide to a first position in which the blade engages the projection and opposes movement of the guide to a second position in which the blade disengages from the projection.

Abstract: A buckle which is used to removably fasten two pieces of webbing, strap or the like together requires two distinct actions for its opening and thus is “double locking.” A latch member is pivotally supported on a frame by means of a support shaft. A first strap end is fixedly attached to one end of the frame. A second strap end to be attached to the first strap end is removably attached to one end of an adjuster member. The other end of the adjuster member is T-shaped. The frame has a pair of opposing ledge portions which extend opposite the base portion of the frame, opposing slots being formed between these portions. The top of the “T” of the adjuster member fits into the slots to retain the adjuster member to the frame when tension is placed on the second strap end portion thereby providing a first locking action. The latch member has a detent formed thereon which engages a detent on the end of the ledge portion of the frame.

Abstract: A buckle mechanism for use in vehicle safety restraint systems which is substantially shock proof against forces in many directions in a crash situation and also against forces generated by buckle pretensioners used to take up the slack in the belt webbing.The buckle mechanism has a movable button and a resiliently biased locking member guided by a rocking support member and movable transversely to the plane of movement of the button to engage or disengage a locking surface of a co-operating tongue. Mutually co-operating abutments are provided respectively on the button and on the locking member or on the rocking support member to lock the button against the buckle disengaging forces of a crash situation. Preferably an overlocking member is also provided to further resist spurious disengagement of the buckle.

Abstract: A connector for a string instrument and a harness having a fixing member fixed to the body of the string instrument and an engaging member fastened to an end of the harness which can be removably connected to the fixing member.The engaging member is provided with an engaging chamber and the fixing member is provided with a protrusion which can be fitted into the engaging chamber.The engaging member is provided with at least two engaging pieces which are always energized by a resetting spring to engage with the protrusion of the engaging member which stays inside the engaging chamber and a manually-operated knob for disengaging the engaging pieces from the protrusion as required.The manually-operated knob is adapted to retract the engaging pieces against the resetting spring by manually rotating the knob in the circumferential direction.

Abstract: A buckle apparatus for use in a plurality of seatbelt assemblies each having a tongue plate and a buckle and disposed adjacent to each other is arranged such that widths of an opening of a tongue plate-inserting passage of each buckle as well as a portion thereof adjacent to the opening differ to allow only a predetermined tongue plate and buckle to be engaged with each other.

Abstract: A two-part clasp has female and male members with the female member being provided with a bore and a slot and into which a prong on the male member interfits for lateral engagement. The female member is provided with a latch which moves beneath the members to engage the male member and prevent it from lateral disengagement with the female member.

Abstract: A two-part coupling has a first cylindrical member provided with an axially directed and radially open female socket, and a second cylindrical member provided with an axially extending male terminus conforming in shape to and being receivable in the socket through radial insertion therein. The first cylindrical member is further provided with means on its outer surface, manually operable to prevent radial dislodgement of the male member from the socket.

Abstract: A quick wire coupling and release primarily adapted to provide a quick, safe and economical coupling of river barges into a tow by use of wire rope with the coupling and release also being capable of use in other applications. The quick wire coupling and release includes a wire latch and a rolling cam take-up assembly with one end of a wire rope having a socket and pin thereon which is coupled to the rolling cam take-up assembly and looped around the opposite timber head or fitting on an adjacent barge and brought back through the wire latch to remove slack from the wire rope with the cam assembly providing a final tension to the wire rope thereby securely retaining adjacent barges in abutting engagement to form a single unit.

Abstract: A latch for securing the ends of a belt together so as to encircle an inflatable cuff of an artificial sphincter. The latch includes two rotatable components with cavities which receive the belt ends when the components are suitably rotated and capture the belt ends within the latch when the belt is in tension.

Abstract: In a buckle device in which a tongue plate is inserted into a buckle body secured to a vehicle body and is latched to a lock lever disposed in the buckle body, an opening portion of the tongue plate and a pawl of the lock lever are caused to contact with each other at two points spaced in a predetermined distance and a clearance is formed between the opening portion and the pawl in respect of the two points.In an ordinary situation of the vehicle the clearance is kept smooth, and, when a large load acts upon the tongue plate in an emergency situation of the vehicle, the contact portions of the opening portion and the pawl at the two points are deformed, whereby portions of the opening portions and the pawl existing between both the points are caused to contact with each other.Accordingly, the lock lever is capable of being operated with a small force and the tongue plate can be pulled out of the buckle device smoothly.

Abstract: A safety belt buckle comprises a tang, a base having an engaging portion in the form of a cut-away in the wall portion thereof and meshing with the tang by the engaging portion, a lever member pivotably provided on the base and capable of assuming a latched position in which the tang is unseparably engaged with the engaging portion during the mesh engagement between the tang and the engaging portion and a non-latched position which permits the tang to be disengaged from the engaging portion, holding means for holding the lever member in the direction of the latched position when the lever member is in the latched position, operating means for releasing the holding of the lever member in the latched position by the holding means and bringing the lever member from the latched position to the non-latched position, and push-out means for sensing the movement of the lever member from the latched position to the non-latched position and pushing the tang out of the engaging portion.

Abstract: A buckle for a watch band comprising a stopper fixture slidably mounted on one end of a band and a linking member fixed to the other end of the band to join to said stopper fixture. The stopper fixture includes a pair of side plates, a bottom plate and a top plate. The top plate is provided with a joint opening in the shape of a wide opening connected to a narrow opening in the direction of the band.
