Abstract: This buckle for a fixation system of a strap to a camera includes a plate and a means for attaching the plate to a strap, the plate including a first hole, a second hole and a protrusion located between the first and second holes. A button may be received in the second hole only by inserting it in the first hole and then moving it from the first hole into the second hole, and removed from the buckle only by moving it from the second hole into the first hole and then removing it from the first hole. The plate further includes a slit extending from the second hole towards an outer edge of the plate.

Abstract: A female part of an animal identification device. The female part includes a head having an inner receiving cavity that can receive a tip of a male part of the identification device. The female part includes at least one element for fixing an accessory to an outer face of the head. The at least one fixing element is in the form of at least one groove.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a first furniture part adapted to be assembled with a second furniture part. The first furniture part comprises recess and the second furniture part comprises a pin. The recess and the pin has a width which varies along the longitudinal direction (L), thereby forming insertion portions of the recess and core portions of the pin, and respective locking portions. The locking portions are provided with grooves and protrusions. The disclosure further relates to a second furniture part comprising a male part of the joint and to a method of forming a furniture part with a female part of a joint.

Abstract: A fastener assembly attaches items to fabrics and textiles. The fastener has particular application for easily attaching racing bibs (i.e., athlete numbers) to athletic garments, and obviating the need for safety pins. In one embodiment, a female portion that passes through the fabric or textile releasably connects with the male portion that fastens the item to the fabric or textile. In another embodiment, the female portion has a cover to facilitate passage through the fabric or textile. In a third embodiment, the male portion passes through the fabric or textile, and includes a barb or a hook to do so.

Abstract: A fastener for interconnecting two garment straps has a male part having an elongated base anchored to one of the straps, a web projecting transversely from the base, and a bar fixed to the web at a spacing from the base and having a pair of ends. A female part has a back panel secured to the other of the straps and a front panel. The back panel forms a recess dimensioned to receive the bar and having at a back edge back corners. The front panel forms ears spaced at the corners from the back panel and dimensioned such the male part can fit with the female part with the connecting bar engaging the back edge of the recess with its ends under the corners and its web projecting out of the recess between the ears.

Abstract: A positioning and binding buckle includes a main body and a positioning element, and the main body is formed by bending a plate to form two side plates and a connecting portion, and a hollow is formed between the two side plates and two stop portions are formed at the bottom of the two side plates and passed through a buckle hole a containing hole containing a compression spring, and positioning element is disposed across the two side plates by its cut groove and limited between at least two opposite lugs, and the positioning element is passed through the containing hole by an insert pin and pushed by the bottom edge of the compression spring, and the positioning element can be lifted towards the connecting portion and pushed back by the compression spring, such that the bottom is aligned evenly with the stop portion.

Abstract: A fastening device includes a first female component and a second male component, each component adapted for attachment to a back panel, wing or strap of a garment or the like, the first component includes a plastic first plate having an inner side and an outer side. The second component includes a second plastic plate having an inner side and an outer side adapted to at least partially overlie the outer side of the first plate in use. The first plate is formed with a plurality of connecting recesses and the inner side of the second plate is formed with at least one connecting protrusion adapted to be releasably received and retained selectively in any one of the connecting recesses. The second plate is formed with a resilient nose inclined downwardly in the direction from its outer side towards its inner side and is deflected upwardly when the components are coupled together to bear resiliently against the outer side of the first plate.

Abstract: A brassiere back closure has an inelastic textile patch attached to the end of one of the brassiere wings and carries a plurality of transversely extending and longitudinally spaced rows each having at least two transversely spaced eyes on the back face. A flat body has an inner end attached to the end of the other of the wings, an opposite outer end, a front face at least partially overlapping at the outer end the back face of the patch, and a back face opposite the body front face. Respective plastic hooks generally complementary to and matable with the eyes are fixed to the body front face at the outer end so as to align with and interfit with the eyes. A transversely rigid bar on or forming part of the body prevents transverse relative movement of the hooks and bending of the body at the hooks.

The inner portion has a depression with a recess extending downwardly from the depression and provided with a laterally-extending opening for receiving a mounting member, such as a pin.

Abstract: A buckle including a pair of members (4, 5) coupled to or separated from each other. The buckle includes a socket (10) and a plug (30) capable of being inserted into the socket and hooked in the socket in the state where the plug is inserted into a prespecified position. The socket is attached to a one member (5) in the pair. The plug has a pull section (33) in the direction intersectional to the plug inserting direction, and a mounting section (37) with the other member mounted thereon is provided on the pull section (33).

Abstract: The present invention discloses a spring clip for clothes. The spring clip includes a gourd-like wire loop with two free ends and a encasement for movably holding the free ends. The encasement is composed of a first member and a second member assembled together and symmetric to each other. The free ends are received and held in a chamber defined between said first member and second member. The first member has pins for presenting said free ends from escaping from the chamber. The second member has apertures corresponding to the pins. The pins are respectively secured in the apertures by means of riveting.

Abstract: A holding clip for mounting on a longitudinally ribbed bolt having an indicator for providing an audible signal when the bolt is fully inserted. The holding clip has a flexible rod having a free end which extends transversely across a receptacle chamber. The receptacle has a transverse wall situated slightly above the rod. When the bolt is inserted, the free end of the rod is pressed upwardly to audibly impact the transverse wall. The rod may be provided with a tab which protrudes through the transverse wall so that the tab end may be tactilely sensed or visually seen.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a buckle clip for receiving and for removably retaining a fastener such as a button having a shank for a garment such as the type used on suspenders, overall straps, jeans and other garments and structures in need of support. In a preferred embodiment, the buckle clip is fabricated from a continuously formed resilient wire to define a loop. The loop has a bight portion for suspension from a strap, a pair of arms for receiving a fastener such as a button having a shank and an open portion for receiving and for removably retaining the button. The bight portion has a pair of feet portions with a first end and with a second end which are resiliently separable and normally spring biased toward each other to engage the shank of the button. The pair of feet portions have a groove and a first pair and a second pair of contact surfaces. The loop provides resilient movement of the open portion for engaging and for disengaging the button.

Abstract: A strap retainer including a base having an integrally formed post projecting therefrom, and a post receiving member, spaced from the base wherein the post receiving member has an opening formed therein for receipt of the post. A member connects the base and the post receiving member and the post generally includes a cylindrical body portion, a generally cylindrical plug portion, each one of which has a diameter greater than the diameter of the opening in the post receiving member. The post includes a neck interposed between the body portion and the plug portion, the neck having a diameter less than the diameter of the post receiving member opening. The plug portion of the post includes a tapered end portion having a longitudinal slot formed therein for enabling deformation of the plug so that the plug portion contracts when the plug is pressed into the post receiving member opening for retention therein.

Abstract: A three part necktie manager, such as a tie clasp, having a bar for insertion into a buttonhole of a shirt, a short chain, and a unique wire clamping member. The clamping member, formed of a spring like metal of predetermined length, is configured to form a pair of opposed V-shaped legs, each leg having an inturned or reverse bend end facing its companion end, whereby manual squeezing of the respective V-shaped legs toward each other separates the inturned ends to allow temporary gripping of the rear face of the tie.

Abstract: A method for obtaining a tight, secure connection between two relatively non-deformable members and the connection resulting therefrom. The method includes the steps of forming a recess in a first of said members, forming a second member with a portion that seats in the recess of the first member, molding a liner of thermoplastic to one of the members, which thermoplastic is deformable but not more than slightly compressible, and seating the portion of the second member in the recess of the first member with one of the members engaging the liner to displace a portion of the liner into a void space in one of the members to thus form a tightly gripping connection between the members. A composite knob and its connection to shaft made in accordance with this method are also disclosed.

Abstract: A quick release connector system is provided for interconnecting a frequently used portable accessory item with a support body. The system utilizes a clasp having a back wall spaced apart from a stationary wall. The stationary wall includes an enlarged opening from which extends a slot. A deflectable wall overlies the enlarged opening. A connector part forms the quick release connection with the clasp. It is attached to the portable accessory item via a post with an enlarged head. The post has a diameter less than the width of the slot and the head has a diameter greater than the width of the slot, but less than the enlarged opening. When the deflectable wall is flexed away from the enlarged opening, the head of the connector part will pass through the opening and slide behind the slot as the post is moved into the slot. The enlarged head behind the slot will prevent axial disengagement.

Abstract: A method for obtaining a tight, secure connection between two relatively non-deformable members and the connection resulting therefrom. The method includes the steps of forming a recess in a first of said members, forming a second member with a portion that seats in the recess of the first member, molding a liner of thermoplastic to one of the members, which thermoplastic is deformable but not more than slightly compressible, and seating the portion of the second member in the recess of the first member with one of the members engaging the liner to displace a portion of the liner into a void space in one of the members to thus form a tightly gripping connection between the members. A composite knob and its connection to shaft made in accordance with this method are also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved garment loop for engaging and disengaging a button. In a preferred embodiment, the loop is manufactured from a single piece of wire which provides for resilient movement of a button receiving portion by means of a interlocked sliding horizontal strap bar.

Abstract: The apparatus is a strap retainer with a straight post element and a generally arcuate retainer element molded as a single integral piece thereby forming a D-shaped outline. First ends of said post and arcuate retainer elements are affixed to each other while second ends of the post and arcuate retainer elements include complementary elements of a detent locking element. A first detent locking element includes a stem with a D-shaped cross section supporting a bulbous portion of increased cross section. The second detent locking element includes an aperture assembly with a first generally round aperture sized to receive the bulbous portion and a second aperture of D-shaped cross section sized to receive the stem of similar cross section and dimensions. The first and second apertures communicate by tapered walls which form detent edges on the second aperture. The stem can be slid from the first aperture to the second aperture to be detently locked in place therein.

Abstract: A button type strap fastener, a method of making same, and a method of using same are provided. The strap fastener includes a mounting strap that is provided with cogs, and also includes a locking button that is adapted to be held in place on the cogs of the mounting strap. The locking button comprises a central opening having a keyhole-shaped configuration, including a first opening portion that corresponds approximately to the greatest diameter of the cogs to receive same such that the mounting strap is displaceable in opposite directions in the first opening portion, and a second opening portion that communicates with the first opening portion and at least in part corresponds approximately to the smallest diameter of the cogs to receive same from the first opening portion in a locking manner.

The abutment is secured on the constructional element.

Abstract: A spring clip closure member for resiliently fastening onto a button type projection, of the type typically used in suspenders, jeans, and other garments. The spring clip includes an inverted U-shaped resilient wire loop having a bight portion for suspension form the garment. A pair of opposing leg portions each terminate in inwardly directed feet with downwardly directed fingers. The fingers are resiliently separable but are normally biased toward each other. An encasement member envelopes the feet portions and includes a closed pocket for receiving and enveloping depending finger portions. The finger portions can laterally move within the closed pocket so as to engage and release the button type projection. Lateral apertures are provided in the encasement member through which the feet portions extend during a closure operation.

Abstract: A fastener system for connecting first and second parts together includes a female fastener having a retention slot therein with an entrance portion, a stop portion and a fastener gripping segment located intermediate said entrance portion and said stop portion; a male fastener has an integral extension thereon insertable into said entrance portion and movable laterally of the slot to an interlocked position at the stop portion. The male fastener includes first surface means thereon engageable with the gripping segment for holding the male fastener in a stop position, and said male fastener further includes second surface means thereon to interlockingly connect the female fastener to the male fastener. The component parts of the fastener system are configured to be formed by use of die members separable in a straight draw.

Abstract: A tire chain adapted to be mounted on and readily removed from a vehicle tire includes an inner support extending, in the mounted state of the chain, circumferentially along and in engagement with an inwardly oriented tire side. The inner support has a spring steel yoke including adjacent opposite free yoke ends and a hook lock having cooperating first and second components mounted on the opposite yoke ends, respectively and adapted to selectively assume an interengaged, closed state or a disengaged, open state. The first component is a flat, quadrangular eyelet defining an eyelet plane oriented such that in the mounted state of the tire chain the eyelet lies flat against the side wall of the tire and further, the second component is a flat hook defining a hook plane oriented perpendicularly to the eyelet plane.
