Abstract: The primary object of the present of invention is to provide a button binder in which paper or sheets can be easily retained and moved out, which exclude the above-mentioned disadvantages. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, the button binder includes several buttons, connection pieces, pulling pieces, a front sheet, a rear sheet and strips. An appropriate number of the buttons are fixed on the appropriate position on the binder, such as on the left portion or top portion of the rear sheet. The buttons mainly compromises a cap and a post. The cap has an axial hole. The post is capable of engaging in the axial hole of the cap and being fastened tightly. Punched papers or sheets can be hold by the post under the cap. When paper in the button binder is opened, there is big force to open the buttons. In order to secure the paper tightly, the buttons are designed to be opened only in a proper direction or site, and the buttons can not be opened in non-proper direction or site.

Abstract: A binder clip that is capable of fastening a plurality of objects together while reducing the amount of damage thereto is provided. The binder clip includes a mouth, a pair of arms and first and second contact plates. The mouth includes first and second outer edges that are biased toward one another. The pair of arms are pivotally coupled with the mouth and are used to open the mouth. The first and second contact plates may be coupled with first and second outer edges. The mouth biases the first and second plates toward each other to hold the object together. The first and second plates operate to distribute the force imposed by the mouth thereby reducing the amount of damage to the one or more objects.

Abstract: A paper fastener includes a base having two end legs for engaging through sheet materials to be clamped and having two side panels bent relative to the base and two outer flanges folded relative to the side panels and shielded by the side panels. A bar includes two end orifices for receiving the legs of the base, and includes two side flaps bent relative to the bar and two outer flanges folded relative to the side flaps and shielded by the side flaps of the bar. Two retainers are slidably engaged on the bar for securing the paper sheets between the base and the bar.

Abstract: This invention discloses a method of inexpensively and reliably manufacturing a clip that has planar levers. A method for making a planar lever, which can be attached to the clamping element of a conventional binder clip, is described. Two wire members, which are bent near the end, and which each have a notched end, are inserted into a pre-formed planar member. The bend in the wire and the notched end hold the wires in place so that the lever can be attached to the clamping element. This invention also relates to a clip that has been manufactured according to the method of this invention. Finally, this invention discloses a method to make an advertising clip that can be used to hold the folded end of a collapsible tube, such as a tube of toothpaste, and a clip therefrom.

Abstract: A clipboard comprising a pair of clamping members arranged substantially parallel one above the other and connected to each other via an intermediate connecting member having a spring loaded hinge connection at each of its elongated ends for securely clamping articles, such as paper sheets, between one of the two clamping members and a board. The lower clamping member is used to hold an existing bundle of paper sheets on the board while disengaging the upper clamping member to add extra paper sheets to said existing bundle of paper sheets. The clamping members are positioned substantially parallel to each other and the lower clamping member extends through a slot formed at the center of a back portion of the first clamping member.

Abstract: A binder clip for holding sheets of paper or other items comprises a clamp including a flexible hinge and gripping surfaces on the inside of the clamp which hold the paper sheets when the clamp is closed, and a spring which slides over the front and back surfaces of the clamp from the location of the hinge to force the clamp closed and push the gripping surfaces toward each other for binding the items together.

Abstract: In a clip, a pair of clip piece portions 1 and 2 bent in the same direction from two bent portions 4-1 and 4-2 of a bent proximal end portion 4 are formed, the two clip piece portions 1 and 2 are kept in contact with each other with a predetermined clamping force, an opening/closing operating portion 3 having an outward curve shape in cross section and projecting returnably to be elastically deformable inwardly and outwardly is formed on one of the two clip piece portions 1 and 2, the opening/closing operating portion 3 is pushed and deformed inwardly so that open ends of the two clip piece portions 1 and 2 are sprung away in a direction to be apart from each other by an elastic spring-back force applied to the opening/closing projection 3, and an opening projection 5 for increasing an opening on the open end sides of the two clip piece portions 1 and 2 is further provided in a portion in the vicinity of the opening/closing operating portion 3 on the open end sides of the two clip piece portions 1 and 2.

Abstract: A preferred clip includes a body formed from a length of band-like material. The body incorporates a back portion and first and second abutment portions extending outwardly from the body portion. Free ends of the abutment portions are formed at opposing ends of the body and are configured to engage each other. A pair of fingergrips also are provided that are configured with two legs that are spaced from each other. Each of the fingergrips include a gripping end and a pair free ends, with the free ends being retained at respective free ends of the abutment portions. Additionally, a corner-receiving opening is formed through the back portion, with the corner-receiving opening being characterized by a width greater than the spacing of the legs of the fingergrips. So configured, the corner-receiving opening may receive therethrough a corner portion of a stack of sheets of material.

Abstract: A cigar holder is a large size 50 mm “binder clip” modified in a way to hold various sizes of cigars between the opposed gripping means above the clamping element. The device will clip onto a narrow surface up to 20 mm in diameter. The cigar holder includes a clamping element, a pair of opposed gripping means which when pressed together, open the clamping element for securing the device to any stationary surface 20 mm in diameter or less within the clamping elements. The improvement comprising two bends in the opposed gripping meand forming a shape that will receive and hold a cigar or golf club.

Abstract: A page holder for holding the pages of a book in an open arrangement having an attachment means such as a spring clip for attaching the page holder to the cover or to one or more pages of the book, a holding means adapted to hold, to the cover of the open book, one or more pages on each side of the spine of the open book, and a support member connecting the attachment means to the holding means, the support member being adapted to allow movement of the holding means from a page holding position to a page releasing position, without detaching the page holder from the book, so that one or more pages of the book can be turned.

Abstract: A binding clip having actuator rods capable of rotation to any angle so as to not impair reading and writing, and which is produced by a simpler fabrication process. A triangularly folded pincer section has an actuator rod on each of the two sides and an insertion hole punched in each of the two sides. An even number of oppositely facing limiter notches are formed along the inner circumference of the insertion holes and a rounded guide element is disposed in between each of the limiter notches, providing for the rotation to any angular degree of the actuator rods along the rounded guide elements. The actuator rods consist of U-shaped rod structures with the two ends bent to an appropriate angular degree and having catch hooks extending from the bent sections. By pressing the two sides of the actuator rods inwardly, the catch hooks can engage opposing pairs of limiter notches such that the actuator rods remain fullly pivotable while positioned in the limiter notches.
