Each curved portion terminates at an abutment. Each abutment has a first diameter and the curved portions have a second diameter less than the first diameter. The first end secures the positioning device to a bone plate and the second end secures the positioning device to a soft tissue elevator.

Abstract: A sliding-type locking buckle comprises a casing and a locking buckle body. The casing comprises an upper casing, a lower casing, and an inner cavity. The locking buckle body comprises an upper body, a lower body, and a compression spring. The upper casing is provided with an upper sliding slot. The inner wall of the upper casing is provided with a plurality of sawteeth along the length direction of the upper sliding slot. The lower body is located in the inner cavity. The top of the upper body protrudes out of the upper sliding slot. A lateral surface of the upper body is provided with a limiting protrusion. The limiting protrusion is provided with a sawtooth portion.

Abstract: A shopping cart liner includes a body configured to nest in the child seat portion of a shopping cart. The body may define one or more openings positioned to enable the feet of a child seated in the shopping cart to protrude through the body, and the shopping cart liner includes a track at least partially embedded in a portion of the shopping cart liner. A clip is slidingly engaged with the track, and defines an opening for attaching an item to the shopping cart liner. An item such as a toy, teething ring, pacifier, or other item may be attached. The body may be padded, and, and may include one or more pockets. The shopping cart liner may include a seat belt for securing a child to the shopping cart liner, and may be used in combination with a pillow.

The separable parts are connected to each other by an elastically deformable mechanisms which stretch to in order to draw the parts located at a distance from each other together, while the pre-tensioning device includes a link wound around the parts in order to keep them closed on the holding element, at least one end of the link being fixed to a tensioning mechanism.

Abstract: A fitting system for securing a panel to a wall frame having a first member removably secured to a second member. The first receiving member includes an outer flange with a center aperture and a ring-like member extending backwards from a bottom surface of the flange to define a receiving passageway. The flange has a plurality of apertures for securing the first member to the wall frame with the ring-like member disposed within a recess in the wall frame. The second insertion member includes an outer flange and a male insertion portion. The outer flange is used to secure the second member to the panel. The male member is adjustable making its insertion within the receiving passageway easier. Attachment clips of the second member mate with an inner ledge of the receiving passageway to lock the two members together and thus secure the panel to the wall frame.

The first and second end clasp members each have a passageway therethrough into which a corresponding body portion end extends with the body portion ends each having a passage blocking object thereon, and being sufficiently narrow to prevent the body end extending therethrough with a blocking object thereon from passing through that narrow part. The blocking member can be a spherical shaped solid wedging the body portion ends into a tapered sides portion of the passageway in each clasp member.

The shaft terminates in a tapered region that provides apertures through which the depressible balls depend. The second spring is mounted internal to the shaft and acts to push the depressible balls outwardly through the apertures.

Abstract: An adjustable fastener assembly for attaching a flexible cover sheet to an object such as a boat comprises an elongated housing provided with a slot extending along its length. Within the housing, there is positioned a slide having an extension protruding through the slot in the housing. The portion protruding through the slot carries a fastening element which engages a complementary fastener such as a ring in the cover. The slide and the housing are provided with complementary locking means permitting the slide to be locked in any desired position along the length of the housing. The slide locking means is provided with a first engaging portion capable of engaging a first portion of the housing locking means which prevents movement in only a first direction along the length of the housing and a second engaging portion capable of engaging a second portion of the housing locking means which prevents movement in only a second direction along the length of the housing.

Abstract: An adjustable waist hand fastener disclosed comprises two components, namely, a button and a plate which can be fixed to one end portion of a waist band. The plate has a slot running along it. The button passes through the slot and can be displaced along the slot. The structure is such that the button can be fixed in any one of a number of positions along the slot. The button can be positioned in two or more predetermined positions or be infinitely adjustable. The button can be a one part construction or comprise two parts. When a two part button is used, the stem of one part is pushed through the slot before the two parts are connected together. When a one part button construction is used, the button must be capable of passing through the slot when in an appropriate position of orientation. The other end portion of the waist band includes a buttonhole which the button fits. The fastener enables the length of the waist band readily to be increased or decreased by displacing the button along the slot.

Abstract: An anchorage device including a molded anchor base piece received in an oblong hole punched into an automotive body panel and secured by mating of grooves formed in the periphery of a plug portion of the anchor base piece adjacent a flange portion positioned against the body panel portions adjacent the hole. The complementarily shaped plug portion is inserted into the hole with a seal compressed beneath the flange, and rotated to cause the edges of the body panel to enter the locking grooves, forming a fluid tight seal to the body panel. The base is formed with a keying bore or other anchoring feature to which a mating fitting may be readily secured.

Abstract: A hanger, particularly adapted to connect or attach items to a chain link fence, includes a central hub portion which is preferably spherically shaped and three arms which extend outwardly therefrom. Two of the arms extend to the sides and are bent rearwardly terminating in ball-shaped cams. The third arm extends upwardly and has its free end bent forwardly and also terminating in a ball. The hanger is attached to a fence by feeding the end of the third leg under one of the diagonally extending fence wires and then snapping the balls at the ends of the other two arms around the outer edges of the two spaced apart fence wires that are perpendicular to the first wire. With the hanger in place, a variety of different articles can be suspended from a hook or other type of support mounted on the central hub portion.

Abstract: A two-part fastener for fastening two objects together comprising a first fastener part mounted on one of the objects and a second fastener part mounted on the other object. The first fastener part has a plurality of openings therein and the second fastener part has a contractible and expansible locking member which is inserted through one of the openings for fastening the two fastener parts together. The locking member is independently movable with respect to the object upon which the second fastener part is mounted. This enables the locking member to freely move to a position in which it is aligned with an opening in the first fastener part for insertion therethrough.
