Abstract: A device for dispensing a plastic fastener from a supply of ladder-type fastener stock includes a pair of separate modules that are independently pneumatically powered by a common air source. Each module is adapted to receive and index a corresponding side rail of the fastener stock, separate a cross-bar therefrom and eject the separated cross-bar out through a sharpened needle. As a feature of the invention, the pair of modules ejects the cross-bars of the dispensed fastener in an offset relationship to minimize fastener stress. As another feature of the invention, the pair of modules is independently slidably coupled to a common mounting plate. In this manner, the spacing and angular orientation between the modules are adjustable. As another feature of the invention, the feed mechanism includes a feed pawl that selectively engages outwardly facing notches formed in the side rail to ensure accurate alignment prior to the severing process.
Abstract: A label tag cord made of plastic material is used as a connector between the label tag and the product, or as an independent identifier. The label tag cord includes a linearly extending and pliable cord body. First and second positioning parts are configured at opposite ends of the cord body. The preset area between the first and second positioning part form an extended block area having width and thickness larger than the cord diameter. The extended block area correspondingly defines a first surface or second surface, at least one of which forms an identifying surface. The extended surface can provide text and image layout. A display unit has a surface containing protruding or concaving parts or paste area. The text and image display unit can be a trademark, pattern, or image. The label tag cord can help to produce brand value, increase advertising effect, and enhance product value.

The apparatus comprises a pin connector including an enlarged ball portion positioned along a shank. The first member includes an annular groove extending around the bore. A canted coil spring seats within the groove. The apparatus is configured such that the spring exerts a squeezing force on the ball portion when the pin connector is disposed within the bore and the head of the pin connector contacts the second member.
Abstract: A webbing tack in a seat belt prevents overspooling in the seat belt webbing. The webbing tack is configured to be temporarily tacked. The webbing tack includes an elongated filament and first and second bars; each bar is attached to opposite ends of the filament. The filament extends through first and second layers of the webbing, the first bar is positioned adjacent the first layer and the second bar is positioned adjacent the second layer.
Abstract: A support system with repositionable bolsters with a panel of material, which can comprise elastomeric mesh, and bolsters repositionably securable to the panel of material. The panel of material can be retained relative to a bed or other structure or by a frame, which can be foldable. The bolsters, which can be formed with a breathable mesh shell, can be secured to the panel of material by a plurality of extendable and retractable fingers for being received through apertures in the panel of elastomeric material, by at least one expansible structure for being received through the apertures in the panel of elastomeric material and expanded, or by pivotable arms adjustable between generally parallel and non-parallel dispositions. The support system can be used independently or incorporated within a crib, bassinet, car seat, high chair, swing, bouncing seat or support, or any other support structure.
Abstract: A low-melt plastic fastener. According to one embodiment, the low-melt plastic fastener is shaped to include a flexible filament having a first cross-bar at a first end, and a second cross-bar at a second end. The filament, the first cross-bar, and the second cross-bar may be formed from the same material and may be molded as a unitary structure. Preferably, the fastener is molded as part of a length of continuously connected ladder stock. The plastic fastener is preferably made from a formulation consisting of about 60-99%, by weight, of a low-melt polyurethane and 1-40%, by weight, of a styrene acrylonitrile. The formulation is selected so that the filament melts when heated for about 10 minutes at 130-180° C.
Abstract: Disclosed is a pet tag holder, namely a device for holding pet tag (e.g., license, identification tag, or the like) which can be suspended from a pet collar. Three embodiments of the pet tag holder are disclosed. All embodiments include a planar, inverted “U-shaped” mounting member, for connection to a pet collar. In each of the embodiments, the mounting member further has two downwardly positioned extension arms in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the mounting member. In each of the embodiments, one extension arm is fixed in space and the other arm is hinged to permit opening and closing of the holder. In all of the embodiments, one or more pet tags can be held on the post between the extension arms.
Abstract: This invention relates to attachments (1) for attachment of a price tag, swing tag or security label to fabric or other articles. The attachment comprises a length of flexible cord (5) fixed to a plastic cross-bar (15) or T-shaped member at one end and a terminal member (10) at the other end. Also disclosed is a plurality of attachments connected to a spine, each attachment being independently severable from the spine by means of a tagging gun. Also disclosed are methods of making the attachments.
