Abstract: A shower curtain fastener includes a body portion adapted to couple to a shower curtain rod and a shower curtain. A hook portion formed integrally with the body portion includes a first segment extending substantially vertically downward from the bottom section of the body portion and a second segment extending outwardly to receive items apart from the shower curtain.
Abstract: A terminus (8) for a bungee cord (15) has a hook (9) with a transverse axis (17) which is within a given distance of the longitudinal axis (16) of a bore (13) within the stem (10) of the terminus. A cleat (24) opens into a cord passage (20) leading to the bore (13) to permit pulling a cord (15) into the cleat (24) thereby locking the terminus in position on the cord (15). The relative axial alignment of the load in the cord (15) with the transverse axis (17) of the hook (9) prevents the load (15) from rotating the hook substantially. A land (27) adjusts the thickness of the cleat.
Abstract: A plurality of medals with attached neck-ribbons are displayed on a multiple display holder that includes a display board (10) having a plurality of slot (11) and aperture (13) pairs. A hook-clip (14), used for securing the medal and its neck ribbon to the display board and formed from a unitary length of wire made of metal or other material, has a small “u”-shaped hook portion (18) at one end and a large “u”-shaped clip portion (19) at its opposite end. The hook-clip is inserted through a selected aperture s,o that the hook portion protrudes from the front face of the display board and the clip portion protrudes from the back side of the board.
Abstract: The golf towel holder has a body which carries an attachment hook by which the body is detachably attached to the top of a golf club bag. The body may include a panel which carries selected indicia thereon. The body carries two golf towel holder hooks. The first hook is a closer hook for detachably retaining a first grommeted golf towel. The second hook is more open so that it can detachably retain a second grommeted golf towel. Since the second hook is more open, the second grommeted golf towel may be more easily detached and attached. The body with its hooks may be molded of thermoplastic synthetic polymer composition material in one or more pieces or may be formed of bent wire in one or more pieces.
Abstract: An anchor member for mounting a tarpaulin to a bearing structure includes: a shaft; an obliquely arranged transverse pin located at a first end of the shaft; a rod member protruding from the shaft and having a first hook-shaped protrusion at an end thereof; and a double hook located at a second end of the shaft. The double hook includes two hook arms positioned on opposite sides of the shaft, and each of the hook arms has an opening. One hook arm includes a second hook-shaped protrusion that engages the first hook-shaped protrusion of the rod member to thereby form a spring lock that completely closes the opening of the first hook arm. In use, an elastic band connects the anchor member with a bearing construction, wherein the elastic band, when mounted, is received in the openings of the hook arms of the anchor member.
