Abstract: A concave-convex structure is composed of a plurality of pole or rod elements including at least two series of rows of such rods, the rods of each row being substantially parallel to one another. The rows are intersecting, but are uniform in respective orientation. The rods are stabilized at the intersections by fittings which permit relative sliding movement of restricted degree. These fittings are secured to a flexible membrane or body portion.Modification of the fittings to provide multiple layer body portions is achieved through the application of spaced layers of material.
Abstract: Brake disk wear pad plates have various different types of snap fasteners so that adjacent wear pads may be releasably joined together. Desirably, the brake pad plates are located on opposite sides of a brake disk core and thus are held together by the fasteners usually extending through the core. Generally, the snap fasteners may be of a projection-recess-type fitting in which the projection and recess matingly and releasably engage each other or of a common-component type wherein a structural part matingly and releasably engages both adjacent fasteners. When the brake disk wear pads are worn, the brake disk pad plates are readily disengaged from each other, new wear pads inserted into the brake disk plates and the wear pad plates once again snap fastened to each other.
Abstract: A fastener in the form of a release fastener, snap fastener and the like for pockets, cases and the like, also comprising a female part formed with an insert opening. A closing head operatively releaseably lockingly engages in the insert opening, and a male holding part carries the closing head. The closing head is formed with a rearward collar supported on the male holding part, with the closing head extending through a hole in the male holding part, and including a plug-in snap-catch connection between the male holding part and the closing head.
