Abstract: A method for producing a lithium titanate precursor includes the step of grinding a lithium compound and a titanium compound in a state where these compounds coexist. More preferably, a method for producing a lithium titanate precursor includes the steps of; mixing a lithium compound and a titanium compound; and grinding the lithium compound and the titanium compound in a state where these compounds coexist by the mixing.
Abstract: This invention relates to a granular material processing machine characterized by the presence of a reviving main shaft in the center of a container, and the installation of multiple sub-shafts supported around the said main shaft at certain intervals, wherein multiple ring-shaped parts are fitted to said sub-shafts so that there will be sufficient space among the sub-shafts, and said ring-shaped parts are made to come into contact with the inner walls of the container.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for making ice cubes is disclosed wherein a large number of ice trays or liquid trapping elements are placed in a larger container, liquid added to the larger container to a level which will fill the liquid trapping elements when the container is positioned in an ultimate storage position and in the ultimate storage position, all the liquid not trapped in the trapping elements is drained. Apparatus disclosed is a container for closely receiving a plurality of ice trays and a lid with a closeable drain opening. A closeable opening is shown in a container wall. Racks can be provided on one container wall and the container can be made of insulating material.
Abstract: An apparatus for reducing the size of, and/or for mixing, solid, pasty and/or liquid material. The apparatus includes a cylindrical housing in which is disposed at least one grinding roller, which cooperates with the inner surface of the housing. Each grinding roller is mounted between two bearing disks in such a way as to be rotatable about its central axis and eccentrically relative to the central axis of the housing. The bearing disks in turn are rotatably driven about the central axis of the housing. In order to enable the grinding rollers to execute the necessary deflection movements, and to avoid over stressing the bearings or supports for the grinding rollers, both end faces of each grinding roller are provided with an axle end that is guided, with play, between two drive wheels that are rotatably mounted on the bearing disks. When the bearing disks rotate, the drive wheels rotatably drive the grinding rollers, which are pressed by centrifugal force against the inner surface of the housing.

Abstract: An edge mill for crushing materials for the manufacture of ceramic articles or the like, in which a cross head is rotatably mounted on a stationarily arranged track column which extends substantially vertically with regard to a substantially horizontally extending grinding track. The cross head is arranged in vertically spaced relationship to the grinding track and above the latter has mounted thereon driver cranks each of which has rotatably arranged thereon a roller-shaped grinding roller for rolling on the grinding track. The grinding rollers are drivingly connected to the driven member of a drive including a driving motor, especially a hydraulic motor. The driving motor is disposed between the grinding rollers on the track column and the member is directly connected to the cross head.
