Patent number: 9601038Abstract: The present invention is an assembly and method for providing a reflective decoration assembly that includes a frame having a pair of opposing frame edges and a plurality of first frame supports, where each frame support is arranged in a plane with at least two other first frame supports, is arranged in a plane defined by the pair of opposing frame edges, has a portion between the pair of opposing frame edges, and is substantially parallel to at least one other first frame support. The reflective decoration assembly also features a plurality of second frame supports, each being arranged in an intersecting configuration with at least two of the first frame supports. Disc attachment posts have a first end attached to the frame and a second end separated from the first end, the second end having a disc retaining head thereat.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2010Date of Patent: March 21, 2017Inventor: Roman Z. Patent number: 6032881Abstract: A method and system for separating, collecting and isolating radioactive metallic elements from low grade, dry, solid non-metallic nuclear bulk waste that includes physically degrading the low grade waste by shredding or grinding into small pieces, configuring the bulk waste into a waste stream, bombarding the waste stream with microwave energy at a preselected frequency treating the waste stream in a time varying magnetic field, causing the radioactive particles to disperse away from the bulk waste and collecting the separated micron sized radioactive particles. The present method and system provide for a low cost, non-complex system of separating out conductive radioactive particles from essentially non-metallic, dry, low grade nuclear waste allowing safe return to the environment of 95% to 99%, by volume, of the processed nuclear waste, greatly reducing the volume of nuclear waste that must be safely stored.Type: GrantFiled: August 14, 1998Date of Patent: March 7, 2000Assignee: Environmental Solutions & Technology, Inc.Inventors: Joshua D. Patent number: 5558285Abstract: An apparatus for lifting and dropping a drop hammer in a crushing or compaction process allows the drop hammer to fall completely freely, without being retarded by an attached cable or other element, and allows the height to which the hammer is lifted to be infinitely adjusted, i.e. to virtually any position. The drop hammer moves vertically, up and down, within a hollow cylinder and has a latch engaging head on an upper portion. An anchoring device is disposed within the cylinder and is distinct from the drop hammer and cylinder, and includes first and second latches which are movable by an actuator (such as a hydraulic cylinder) to engage or disengage the drop hammer head. The latches are typically mounted between top and bottom generally horizontal plates, and are pivotally connected adjacent one end to the plates and adjacent another end to the actuator. Crank blocks and a synchronizing lever may be provided.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 1995Date of Patent: September 24, 1996Assignees: Oy Aura-Machine Ltd., Savonlinnan PR-Urakointi OYInventor: Pentti Rasanen

Patent number: 5497951Abstract: A rotor blade structure for a vertical shaft impact crusher which enables the lifetime of blades to increase and facilitates maintenance. In the early stage of wear, it takes place by collision between a blade body (2) of each blade (1), particularly teeth (4) provided thereon, and raw stone. Accordingly, in this stage, rods (9) buried in the blade body (2) do not collide with raw stone. As the wear progresses, the rods (9) become exposed. After the rods (9) have been exposed, raw stone also collides with the rods (9), which have a higher hardness than that of the blade body (2). That is, the blade (1) does not subject the rods (9) to wear from the beginning of use of it, but allows the rods (9) to be subjected to wear after the blade body (2) has become worn to a certain extent.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 1993Date of Patent: March 12, 1996Assignee: Nakayama Iron Works, Ltd.Inventor: Teruji Watajima

Patent number: 4139237Abstract: A breaker bar or drop hammer principally for breaking large rock into smaller pieces is disclosed. The bar is of a cast heat treatable material, preferably manganese steel, and is of a shape which permits effective heat treatment quenching for adequate strength. Preferred shapes for the one-piece breaker bar are easily cast and avoid thicknesses of over about eight inches in critical areas, so that quenching is effective to avoid deleterious thermal stress cracking and provide a structure of adequate strength.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 1977Date of Patent: February 13, 1979Assignee: Columbia Steel Casting Co., Inc.Inventor: Harold L. Patent number: 4065061Abstract: A novel ball mill providing a maximum efficiency for the balls dropping onto the material to be crushed, this being obtained by associating a vertical tube into which said material is poured together with the ball with means for raising the balls and crushed material passing out of the lower end of the tube, so as to reintroduce same into the upper end of the latter, the sufficiently crushed material being sucked out of the tube at a selected point of its height.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 1976Date of Patent: December 27, 1977Inventor: Jean-Paul Bombled
