Abstract: A micro puree machine includes a mixing shaft coupled to a blade and rotatable by means of a gear. A magnet is coupled to the gear and a rotation sensor is mounted on the machine housing. As the mixing shaft descends into the pre-frozen ingredients, the rotation sensor detects a magnetic field of the magnet as the gear rotates and generates a rotation signal in response. A controller receives the rotation signal and determines a rotation count associated with the gear, causing the mixing shaft to ascend back toward the housing once a pre-selected rotation count has been reached. The pre-selected rotation count correlates with the partial processing of the ingredients.

  • Patent number: 9192937
Abstract: A paper shredder is configured like a conventional paper shredder except that the shredding mechanism is located in a removable cartridge. This allows a single paper shredder housing to be rapidly converted from one shredding pattern to another by simply changing the shredding cartridge. Furthermore, shredding cartridges can be readily replaced whenever the shredding mechanism jams or fails in some other manner. This simplifies repair and servicing of the paper shredder.

Abstract: A braking system for a rotating chopper drum (14) of a forage harvester (10) driven from an engine (11) via a drive train including a disengageable clutch (21). The drive train also drives a first pump (28) connected with the drum (14) which pumps fluid around a hydraulic circuit which includes an openable restriction (40). The system is arranged to brake the chopper drum (14) by disengaging the clutch (21) and arranging the first pump (28) to pump fluid around the circuit via the openable restriction (40) as the drum (14) continues to rotate to convert the energy of the rotating drum (14) into heat.

Abstract: Provided is a shredder that prevents particles from jamming in a shredding mechanism, and shreds the sheet-like objects into such an extremely small size that the sheet-like objects cannot be reproduced. A shredding mechanism (3) includes blade drums (4, 5) in a pair, and a plurality of scraping members (6) for scraping off particles (1a) formed by shredding from an inside of recessed portions located between the cutter portions (4b, 5b) of each of the blade drums (4, 5). A control device (12) includes a determination unit (13) for determining a jam condition of the particles (1a) in the shredding mechanism (3) based on a load applied to a drive device (10) during idling of the shredding mechanism (3), which is carried out by driving the drive device (10) under a state in which the sheet-like object (1) to be shredded is not conveyed in the shredding mechanism (3).

  • Patent number: 8998119
Abstract: A paper shredder with an allowable thickness warning function is provided. The paper shredder includes a casing and an upper cover. An input tray is disposed on the casing for placing plural papers thereon. A pressing member and a thickness detecting device are installed on the upper cover. When the pressing member is contacted with the plural papers on the input tray and pushed by the plural papers, the pressing member is moved. The thickness detecting device is located near the pressing member. Moreover, in response to the movement of the pressing member, the thickness detecting device may be triggered. If an overall thickness of the plural papers exceeds an allowable thickness, the pressing member is pushed by the plural papers. Consequently, the thickness detecting device is triggered by the pressing member to generate a warning signal.

Abstract: A shredder has cutter elements for destroying articles (paper) and a feed mechanism for advancing paper from a stack in a tray into cutters for shredding. The feed mechanism has a feed member provided adjacent to the tray with an elastic arm for engaging and disengaging the stack. The feed member rotates in a feeding direction about an axle, with the elastic arm elastically deforming to apply pressure to feed paper atop the stack to the cutters. The elastic arm can include a protruding tip that is inserted into the stack. The tray includes a curved feed bed to assist in feeding paper into the cutters and deforming the elastic arm. A pivot arm can also move the feed member relative to the tray (e.g., vertically). A disengagement mechanism can hold the feed mechanism in an inoperable feeding position when a drawer or tray is moved into an open position.
