  • Patent number: 10000871
Abstract: A sewing machine includes a first thread spool base having a first thread spool pin and a first guide member, and a second thread spool base having a second thread spool pin and a second guide member. The first thread spool pin is inserted into a through hole of a thread spool. The first guide member has a first thread guard portion that guides a needle thread delivered from a thread spool mounted on the first thread spool base to the sewing machine. The second thread spool base can be attached to and removed from the first thread spool base. The second thread spool pin is inserted into a through hole of the thread spool. The second guide member has a second thread guard portion that guides a needle thread delivered from the thread spool mounted on the second thread spool base to the sewing machine.

  • Patent number: 9845558
Abstract: A spool of thread holder and threading device for holding a plurality of spools of thread, made up of a frame and a plurality of spool thread holders, said spool thread holders further comprising a rod, a base and a wing. The wing attaches to the rod along the axial length of said rod and the rod extends from the base. Each of the individual spool thread holders comprising the multiple spool thread holder, allows receipt of a spool of thread and the wing maintains the spool of thread adjacent the base. The frame is configured for attachment to a quilting machine to allow thread to unspool from each non-rotating spool of thread during operation under substantially equal tension.

  • Patent number: 8973859
Abstract: A thread guide device for use with sewing and embroidering machines is adjustable to accommodate a variety of differently dimensioned thread spools or cones and is adapted for use with machines having a horizontally disposed thread spool support rod. The thread guide device includes a base having a support rod for supporting a spool or cone of thread on a rotor journalled for rotation on the support rod and dimensioned for insertion into the core of a spool or cone of thread. The rotor has a tapered end portion for accommodating spools or cones of different sizes. A wire loop thread guide secured to the base and mounted for selective lateral adjustment relative to the support rod has a first portion disposed within a slot of a slotted arm and a second portion provided with a coil wrapped around the slotted arm. A set screw secures a tapered retaining cap having a central axial aperture receiving the support rod to the support rod.
