The sheet processing machine includes: a reel on which a first end side of a tape is wound; a first stepper motor that rotates the reel about a rotation axis of the reel; a drum configured to wind up a second end side of the tape together with the sheets to form a winding body together with the tape and the sheets; a second stepper motor that rotates the drum about a rotation axis of the drum; and circuitry configured to change an interval between the sheets wound on the drum by controlling a rotation of the first stepper motor and the second stepper motor based on a parameter indicating a condition of the winding body.

Abstract: A dual-bearing reel is provided that basically includes a reel main body, a spool, a clutch operating member and a first barrier portion. The reel main body has a first side plate and a second side plate. The second side plate is disposed at a distance from the first side plate in an axial direction. The clutch operating member is movably supported on the reel main body in a vertical direction between the first side plate and the second side plate behind the spool. The clutch operating member switches between a transmitting and disconnecting of a rotational force to the spool. The first barrier portion is provided on one of the clutch operating member and the reel main body. The first barrier portion prevents the fishing line from entering between the clutch operating member and the first side plate of the reel main body.

Abstract: A second one-way clutch for a dual-bearing reel includes a ratchet wheel, a pawl member, and a pawl pivot controller. The ratchet wheel includes a plurality of ratchet teeth disposed in the circumferential direction at intervals of the ratchet wheel. The ratchet wheel is rotatable in conjunction with the drive shaft. The pawl member is pivotally disposed on the pivot shaft between an engagement position in which the pawl member engages the ratchet teeth and an un-engagement position in which the pawl member is un-engagement from the ratchet teeth. The pawl pivot controller is rotatably disposed on the pivot shaft, has an interlocking gear that rotates in response to the rotation of the drive shaft, and pivots the pawl member to the engagement position and the un-engagement position in response to the rotational direction of the interlocking gear.

Abstract: Provided is a reel frame for fishing that has improved machinability and productivity with a minimized machining cost by reducing the portions that requires milling, but by maximizing the portions that requires lathe processing. The reel frame for fishing includes: a palm-facing first panel; a gear-facing second panel; a spool space between the first and second panel; and a connecting unit maintaining the space and including a first rib connecting the first and second panel to each other and combined with a fishing rod mount, in which the first rib has a body and curved ends at both sides of the body to make a recess between the first and second panels and the first rib, for lathe processing for making inside chamfered portions around inner sides of the first and second panels.

Abstract: A torque limiting device for a fishing reel is provided. The torque limiting device is configured to limit torque between a rotatable shaft member and a rotary member disposed on an outer peripheral side of the shaft member in the fishing reel. The torque limiting device includes a first pin member being disposed in the shaft member, where the first pin member is configured to protrude towards and retract from the rotary member and the first pin member has a first spherical tip, an urging member is disposed in the shaft member, where the urging member is configured to urge the first pin member towards the rotary member, and a first recess is disposed on the rotary member to allow the tip of the first pin member to be engaged therewith.

Abstract: In a method for putting into storage and dispensing sheet-like objects, in particular bank notes, between at least one tension storage belt into or from a storage reel, in time periods between input and dispensing cycles, at least one belt tightening operation (F1-F3), which uses an increased belt tightening tension by comparison with the base belt tension is carried out. This operation is used to tighten up the belt in the belt spool of the storage reel so that the objects in the belt spool are tightened to increase the storage reel capacity and in order preferably to lend the belt spool greater mechanical stability so that the latter remains stable at the sides even when the filling level is high. Advantageously, the belt tightening is carried out in pulsed manner at a repetition frequency in the Hertz range using a pulse duty factor of active tensioning force relative to a base nominal value of between 0.2 and 2.0, preferably in the region of 1.0.
