    Abstract: A dispensing unit and a dispenser are provided. The dispensing unit is adapted for use with continuous web material. The dispensing unit comprises a first roller arranged to rotate about a first axis and a second roller arranged to rotate about a second axis. A web path is provided through the dispensing unit and a portion of the web path includes a web passage defined between the first roller and the second roller. The first roller is displaceable between at least a first position and a second position, wherein a first distance is defined between the first roller and the second roller when the first roller is arranged in the first position, and a second distance is defined between the first roller and the second roller when the first roller is arranged in the second position.
