Simultaneous Or Successive Winding Patents (Class 242/362.1)
  • Patent number: 10569987
Abstract: A method for implementing a correct winding of a wire on a spool. The method is characterized in that it comprises a step for calculating the angular speed of a motor displacing a wire dispensing device according to the wire winding pitch and according to the pulling error, detected in relation to a given pre-set set-point and to a tolerance value, in order to determine the presence of a possible “valley error”, or of a possible “peak error”. Furthermore, if during the spool winding a “valley error” or a “peak error” is detected, the control device decides whether to slow down or to increase the speed of the wire dispensing device with the aim of filling the valley or of skipping the peak.

  • Patent number: 8500054
Abstract: A method and device for adjusting the unstored length of tubing directed to improving the use of infusion sets that deliver fluids to a user. The device includes a storage module and other features for adjusting, storing and securing the length of the tubing. The method of adjusting the length of the tubing to a desired length typically comprises removably attaching the tubing to the adjuster, adjusting the tubing by wrapping the tubing around a hub or post of the adjuster, and fixing the length of the unstored tubing by attaching the tubing to a securing device such as a friction structure or fastener.

  • Patent number: 7401485
Abstract: Steel strip issues continuously from a downstream end of a rolling line and can be wound up there on a coiler. An inspection table downstream of the rolling line has a surface aligned with the downstream end and the strip emerging therefrom. The coiler is below a plane of the table surface. During normal rolling the strip is deflected downward to the coiler and reeled up. For inspection of the strip, the strip is cut transversely to produce a new leading end and is fed starting at this end toward the table without substantial deflection. Then the strip is cut again upstream of the new leading end to form a strip sample separate from the strip emerging from the rolling line, which sample is fed to the table and arrested and inspected while strip emerging from the line is deflected back down to the coiler to continue coiling it up.

  • Patent number: 7367106
Abstract: Stator designs have wide-mouth slots between adjacent poles. Wire coils with high slot fill conductivity are formed around the poles. In some designs, the wire coils are wave wound around the poles. Thick bar conductors can be used for making the wire coils. The wire coils may be inserted using nozzle dispensers or transferred from a pre-form mandrel. In other designs, the wire coils are pre-formed on transferable pockets that are then mounted on the poles. Optional pole extensions or shoes can be attached to the stator poles after the wire coils are formed around the poles.
